Does anyone currently or in the past use the Japanese Arisaka rifle, and other WW2 Japanese small arms chambered in the 6.5x50mm SR Type 38 cartridge? I would imagine Touzen did, which is where I am thinking I would have gotten my military equipment from.

Is the chemical weapons allowed and/or used?
read this
chemicals are aloud but frowned on as a war crime no nukes, one thing to remember not everyone should have top gear of 50s because it will be boring and makes the game unbalanced.

Think of ways to make your unique in some ways. For example my army prefer mobility and speed over power because of it's small size compared to other nations.

As far as I know, no-one did. Feel free to use it.

A couple questions:

1. Am I allowed to have my nation engineer a bastard child of a tank between the Panzer mkIV and a T34 to make a late 50's era tank?
2. Is it ok to have the AK47 (Called a Gewehr-55) as my main armament since I do have a large, militaristic population, plus almost 6% of my GDP being spent on military.
3. Do we have a version of the Geneva Convention?

1. Sure
2. I have actually claimed manufacturing the AK-47 (I call it the KA-47). I'm not in a position to forbid you anything on this field, though I would appreciate it that you have either bought the blueprints from me or copied them somehow. Also why not go for German assault rifles?
3. I don't think so, but I could be wrong since some people do bring it up.

Well the AK is a direct descendent of the German StG-44, and I want to expand on that technology.

Who here has the rights to the FN FAL rifle?

I wonder because I plan on having it as my main service rifle.

If in doubt, ask Engellex/Serenierre/Xinhai, as they seem to be our resident millitary experts.

One remark: The military techniques you use must be from around the year 2000. All other technique can be from present day.

So France's (remember my nation is a French/Hispanic mix like me) military budget is roughly 190 billion according. This is ok then

A few remarks here: The annual French military budget is not 190 billion. It's 190 billion over the span of 2014-2018. That article outlines that France plans to pump a higher sum of money from 2019 to 2025. The article goes on to say that France's annual military budget is 34.2 Billion. Therefore, if you want to base your military budget off of France, you're looking at around 34-35 billion - not 190.

Additionally, do keep in mind that France is one of the world's most premier militaries / strongest economies - so you might not want an exact copy and paste. Further, quality RP often makes up for hard numbers. You won't be recognized as a global power because your factbook mentions have xx aircraft carriers.

Even further, France and Justosia are very different countries - it seems. And I mean that in the sense of geography and geopolitical concerns. For one, France is a member of NATO and located in Europe, France has also made the decision to put a focus in special forces and tactical strikes as opposed to maintaining a large (and expensive) invasion force. Try and think about some of the needs that Justosia faces and how it designs its military to approach those concerns. For example, if I'm correct in where Justosia will be located, it's country with a bunch of islands - that are mostly frozen - in the far northwest. What defense strategies would be most effective given your geography? Maybe, given geography and all that, Justosia doesn't need to have a large standing army and can make due with a smaller, more agile one.

It's up to you - but try and be creative and think about the needs of Justosia, not just the military that France maintains.

Yea you misunderstand. My nation is a mix of France & Spain. I'm going rather loosely here. Not everything is going to be exact. Much will be my own design.

As for the article, I thought that may have been true, but honestly makes no sense. A 'premier' military should have at least quadruple that budget. Then again I'm a Nationalist American. We spend damn near a trillion on ours. That's normal to us.

I was already counting on RPing making up for that lack. It'll have to....
