Sorry for my continued n00bishness, but I have a couple more questions: 1) How are population, economic, and military statistics calculated? 2) Is the terrain of various territories listed/indicated anywhere? And the natural resources available in each plot?

I do have one question for whoever would be willing to answer it. I've noted on the 'How to Start' page that various 'homelands' exist. What region do Spanish-cultured nations belong in?
