International Space Cooperative (ISC)

The International Space Cooperative is an organization devoted to scientific research and exploration of space. Aims include: astronomical research, unmanned and eventually manned space flight, satellite development, and general scientific cooperation. The ISC is an apolitical organization. Originating from the Bourgogne- [MENTION=18]Eiffelland[/MENTION] space cooperation, the ISC aims to expand membership. Membership is currently divided into Active Members and Support Members. Active members are responsible for contributing manpower, funding, and research capabilities. Support members are considered those who may not be able to contribute in all areas but wish to contribute where possible.

Director -

Upon hearing your call for cooperation in the push towards the heavens, I knew that I must reach out to you and petition on behalf of my government for admission as an active member of the cooperative.

While our financial resources may not be as plentiful as those of Bourgogne and Eiffelland, Ayasofya would still bring much to the table as a partner in this endeavor. We have some of the finest research institutions in the world at Oilthigh Rannoch and Oilthigh Adas. The arctic expanse in our northern territories are completely devoid of light pollution and is perfect for observing the nighttime sky, especially in the winter months where the darkness remains 24 hours a day. The expanse also provides an ideal and safe location for engine testing. The mines near Adas produce many metals that would be beneficial to the effort. Finally, our sizable merchant marine would assist in transporting instruments and other materials to different operations centers globally.

Most importantly, we bring a passion for pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge. Whatever political differences divide us, whatever cultural rifts separate us, the stars above remind us that we are all united as members of the human race with the responsibility to better ourselves and our world in every possible moment.

We believe that cooperation is key to success where Space is concerned, as knowledge and exploration can truly only benefit us all. You may consider this a formal application for Active Membership within the ISC. We have many student researchers, doctorates, and faculty that can assist our fellow researchers. Men and women qualified from Nuclear Chemistry to Janitorial work. We also are in good favor with our leader, and for the foreseeable future are receiving adequate funding that can be shared in the name of furthering scientific knowledge.

If it would help assure ISC member states of our ability to contribute, we propose an all expense paid trip here. Come, send your envoys and let them be shown the Etrecht ways. We can provide quality furnishing within the Maikke Hotel & Casino. Should you be in favor of our membership, we would be eager to start cooperative work as soon as possible. Our Orbital Conditions Observation Satellite (or OCONOS) program is taking longer then originally projected, and any help would be greatly compensated, even before membership into ISC is determined.

All those who have requested admission to the cooperative are granted so on a probationary basis until the board meets later this week to formally induce the nations as members. All other offers and suggestions will be considered by the board and will receive a response as soon as possible.

ISC Statement

The ISC will be opening membership to new nations as well as creating 2 new launch sites for rockets. We wish to reiterate the main site will remain in Moleto. The secondary sites will be for future launches of smaller spacecraft and research. Additionally, the ISC will open an observatory at an unchosen location. Applications for all will be accepted.

We would like to join the ISC as an Active Member, seeking to provide any means necessary for the exploration of space and the advancement of science and technology. We would be able to divert some resources and industrial capability towards the production of the necessary equipment.

We would like to apply for one of the two additional launching sites. Our suggestion for the location would be Ratzeburg, Southern Eiffelland.

Furthermore, may we suggest the island of Rügen for the observatory? The weather is almost always good here, so that there is almost always a good view at the stars. Furthermore, we have a radiotelescope on the same island, and we are planning to build 11 more radiotelescopes there.

We would like to apply for one of the additional launching sites. The location would be in Bremgarten, Southern Geotri. Bremgarten would also be a prime location of an observatory due to clear weather and access to high elevations to have a clearer, unobstructed view of the stars.

The Principality of Montroulez hereby tenders its application to join the International Space Cooperative as an active member. While we regret that, due to our geographical location and local weather, orbital launches are not considered advisable from our territory, we remain willing to cooperate in any manner possible, including the construction of a site for high latitude sounding rockets. We are especially desirous of the use of space for the peaceful benefit of all people and pray that such international cooperation is the first step towards lasting peace among the brotherhood of men.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Federal Republic of Telora hereby tenders its application for membership of the International Space Cooperative (hence the ISC), under the terms of the Space Co-operation Act, 2017 (hence the Act). The Act directs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to formally notify the ISC that Telora wishes to bid for the aforementioned observatory site, as well as high latitude operations. Further, the Act requires the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to depose with the ISC a list of Teloran companies and universities that have indicated to the Minister for Science (Ministry of Education) that they have the capacity to enter into bidding for ISC contracts or subcontracts (as defined in the Overseas Contracting Act, 1999/2002).

We look forwards to co-operating with the other members of the ISC, and express our sincere intent to pursue membership as completely as possible, as per the preamble and Section I of the Act.

The Republic of Bergenheim would like to officially support and endorse this organisation, and offers both the full federal support of the nation-state, and also authorises Solaire Aerospace, our leading private aerospace conglomerate, to represent Bergenheim as the primary means by which we shall support and contribute to this organisation and endeavour.
