Team Eiffelland honoured in stadium Hertha TSC after return from Gunnland

Today was the day of the return of Team Eiffelland from the Stephanitic Wintergames, which resulted in a total of 15 medals for Eiffellandian sporters. The sporters, physicians, physiotherapists and other officials forming Team Eiffelland were honoured in the stadium of Hertha TSC in Trier-Ruhleben before a public of 50,000 people. King Albrecht, Chancellor Von Seydewitz and Peter Röhm, the chairman of the Eiffelländischer Stephanitersportverband (ESSV), speeched to the people from Team Eiffelland. The King described the last edition of the Stephanitic Wintergames as "an event that bound us all to the televisions, with sporters who gave the best of themselves, with surprises in which favourites for the gold medal were defeated, but most of all with the highest number of medals ever obtained by sporters of one country in the history of the Stephanitic Wintergames. Ladies, gentlemen, you can be proud of yourselves, and Eiffelland is proud of you." As per tradition, the gold medal winners were taken up in the Eiffelländischer Verdienstorden as members.
We can all look back to very interesting Stephanitic Wintergames. The Eiffellandian sporters did not win many gold medals, but excelled over a wide variety of sports. We all look forward to the Stephanitic Wintergames 2022.

Dream couple just a dream? Queen Julian’s martyrdom continues
Prince Ludwig cheats on Queen Julian with men

Two months ago, we published about the relationship between Prince Ludwig and Queen Julian. Last weekend, however, Prince Ludwig’s real motives behind this relationship became clear. Prince Ludwig misuses Queen Julian to hide his real sexual preferences for the public. The Angel‑Prince only resembles an angel in terms of looks. In fact, these angel‑like looks hide a monster without scrupules who is only interested in his own lusts. Schau! has photographic proof of the Prince’s life behind the scenes. A life that goes against each form of the decency that we rightfully expect from our Royals.
At night, when Queen Julian is sleeping, Prince Ludwig sneaks himself to the gay scene and has sex with other men. But of course, thanks to Schau!, this kind of betrayal cannot remain hidden for long. Accompanied to this article, you see ten pictures showing the Prince dancing closely and kissing with a young man, whom we identified as Jonathan von Walsrode, the younger son of the ambassador in Kashtan and a descendant of a noble family with a large record in diplomatics. The two young men even took their shirts off, en plein public! This is how Prince Ludwig spends his nights after having kissed Queen Julian good night: Dancing shirtless and having sex with young men. He doesn’t know any restraint, but blindly follows his perverse lust for unnatural intercourse with young men.
After having lost her parents at a young age and having been the victim of a kidnapping, the poor Queen of Gunnland falls victim to a young man who betrays her, and who doesn’t care about the risk to infect her with any kind of strange sexually transmitted diseases that prowl among the gay scene, including HIV. He doesn’t care for the risk to infect the Queen of Gunnland with lethal sexually transmitted diseases like Hepatitis and HIV. The only thing Prince Ludwig cares for, is his lust for flesh. The flesh of young men. He tries to keep up the reputation of a decent young man to avoid his family’s wrath, but unleashes his perverse desires when the Royal Family and Queen Julian look somewhere else.
This young man doesn’t care for Queen Julian’s feelings, and he doesn’t care for his parents’ feelings or the reputation of the Royal Family, but in spite of that he is a heir to the throne! Eiffelland is at risk to get a King on the throne who dances shirtless and indulges in perversities with young men! How would Eiffelland look like with such a King as Head of State, compared with decent and respectful men like the King of Elben, the Emperor of Carinthia‑Harkány, the Emperor of the Tiburan Empire, and their heirs?

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is the Eiffellandfunk with a short home news bulletin

Opinion polls shows massive losses for coalition parties; two-party coalitions not possible

The Christiandemocratic CDV and the Market Liberal FDV are in serious trouble for the national elections in April. Polls currently forecast a 50 seats loss for the CDV and a 30 seats loss for the FDV. Also the Marxist‑Leninovist party KPE is facing a loss of votes, and even risks to loose all seats in the Staatstag. The parties benefitting are the Sociodemocratic SPE, the Environmentalist Grün, the Conservative Christian party PCL and the far-right party Volksunion.
Another remarkable result of the most recent polls is, that for the first time in history it will be impossible to form a two‑party coalition. This is the result of a development started in the beginning of the 2000s, in which the number of people voting for a certain political party by default is declining. The CDV seemed to avoid this scenario at first sight, but now appears to have fallen victim to it as well. Political analysts surmise that the initial popularity of Chancellor Von Seydewitz masked that also the number of people voting CDV by default diminished. Now that the Chancellor’s popularity is declining as a result of the aftermath of the March on Trier, it becomes clear that the CDV also fell victim to the development among the voters that was shown for other parties in earlier elections.
Another recent development in the struggle for voters is currently taking place on the internet. Of course all political parties have their own websites where they show their plans for the future, but there are also popping up far‑right websites independent from the Volksunion that attack the current coalition government. These websites seem to have success among certain parts of the Eiffellandian society, although still the vast majority of the population rejects far‑right ideas.

Comments on Prince Ludwig’s homosexuality

Yesterday the tabloid Schau! published an article about Prince Ludwig. In this article, the Prince was outed as gay. Immediately after this publication, comments popped up at various websites, also at the websites of the political parties. The Volksunion published the pictures shown in Schau!, in which the Prince is shown shirtless kissing with a guy, at its website, and demands that Prince Ludwig is taken out of the line of succession to the Throne. Also the PCL indicated that it considers a homosexual in the line of succession to the Throne inappropriate: “A King cannot have a Prince‑Consort at his site; Prince Ludwig cannot remain in the line of succession to the Throne, unless he repents for his sins, and then either leads a celibatarian life or marries a woman.” The CDV, SPE, FDV, LDP and Grün published at their websites that they consider the Prince’s homosexuality a personal and private matter.
The Eiffellandfunk interviewed Chancellor Von Seydewitz on the matter. He said: “We have to understand that Prince Ludwig has to live his life in the way he feels comfortable with, also if that life is not the conventional life. We also have to take into account that the pictures published by Schau! were taken in a club. People can allow themselves a bit more in a club than they can allow themselves at the Kurfürstendamm in Trier at 2pm on Saturday. We have to see things in perspective. Furthermore, I know the Prince as a calm young man who considers his decision wisely and takes his duties as a Prince very seriously. At secondary school, he organised several charity events, and he still does so as a student. He obtained his Abitur with a very high average, and his studies also go very well at the moment.” When asked about a possible relationship between Prince Ludwig and Queen Julian, the Chancellor said: “Prince Ludwig and Queen Julian are friends, but they never have been in a love relationship.” He didn’t want to comment on a possible relationship between Prince Ludwig and Jonathan von Walsrode.
Several noble families reacted on the matter as well. About half of them want the Prince to be taken out of the line of succession to the Throne; the other half supports the Prince.

Royal Family announces that Prince Ludwig is gay but charges Schau! with libel

After yesterday’s article by the Eiffellandian tabloid Schau!, in which Prince Ludwig’s homosexuality was unveiled, a spokesperson of the Eiffellandian Royal Family announced that Prince Ludwig will charge Schau! with libel. The spokesperson indicated that Prince Ludwig is indeed gay, but that he was never romanticly involved with Queen Julian of Gunnland: “Indeed, the Prince and the Queen are friends, but they have never been a couple.” The spokesperson also indicated that the prince is furious about the suggestion that he would deliberately infect other people with lethal diseases, or wouldn’t care about the risk of doing so: “In fact he is very strict about safe sex, just because of that risk.” The Prince is also furious about the suggestion that he would only care for his own lusts, and about calling him perverse.
The spokesperson did not want to comment on a possible love‑affair between Prince Ludwig and Jonathan von Walsrode. He did indicate that the Royal Family stands behind Prince Ludwig, and that Prince Ludwig keeps his position in the line of succession to the Throne.

Matthias von Luckenwalde: Dead because of Prince Ludwig?

Matthias von Luckenwalde was a normal young man with a normal life. He served his military service with the Eiffellandian Navy, and was engaged with Princess Ophelia von Stolzenau. He was destined to marry in September 2015, after his military service, and before he would start to study physics. But it went differently.
By the end of 2014, he was transferred to the destroyer Aachen. There he fell victim to Prince Ludwig’s seduction techniques. When both young men were demobilised, Matthias spent a weekend with the Royal Family at Jagdschloss Glienicke, the Royal Family’s weekend residence during Summer. The pictures accompanying this article were taken when Prince Ludwig and Matthias von Luckenwalde started to make love in a boat on the Trierer See.
After that weekend, Matthias gradually slipped into a psychosis. By the end of August 2015, he had to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital. His marriage had to be cancelled. Four months later, he escaped while being transported to another psychiatric hospital, and was knocked over by a car.
Now, after Prince Ludwig’s homosexuality was unveiled, the question emerges: What would have happened if Matthias von Luckenwalde would never have met Prince Ludwig? Would he have been happily married? Would Princess Ophelia already have given birth to a child? But also another question emerges: What is Prince Ludwig’s role in this tragedy? Did he cause Matthias’s psychosis? Fact is that he didn’t respect Matthias’s engagement to Princess Ophelia. He followed his lust and seduced Matthias, leaving the poor Princess Ophelia behind. Meanwhile, Princess Ophelia is still so shocked about the events that she still lacks the power to start a new relationship; she still mourns Matthias’s death.

Royal Family sues Schau! once again

A spokesperson of the Royal Family released a press announcement telling that the Royal Family is going to sue Schau! for today’s article about Prince Ludwig as well. She also indicated that the Royal Family is going to start a short cause to prohibit Schau to publish any more articles on Prince Ludwig’s homosexuality until the libel lawsuits on the article of two weeks ago and the article in today’s Schau! have been trialed.

Judge rejects demands of Royal Family
Schau! is still allowed to write about Prince Ludwig

During the short cause of the Royal Family against Schau!, the judge rejected the demand of the Royal Family to stop writing about Prince Ludwig's love life. He motivated his decision with a reference to the freedom of speech, and by stating that he cannot judge on such a short notice whether the publications about Prince Ludwig published by Schau! up to now and to be published by Schau! in the future are false. He indicated that conducting a regular lawsuit was needed for that, a lawsuit that has already been initiated.
A positive point for the Royal Family was that the lawsuit currently running because of the first article by Schau! can be extended with each new article published and to be published by Schau!. This means that no separate lawsuit will be needed for each and every new article.

The Thing of All Gunnishmen has found the author of the Schau! article "Prince Ludwig cheats on Queen Julian with men" guilty of lèse-majesté against Queen Julian in absentia, and the members of the editorial board for conspiracy therein. Upon entering Gunnish jurisdiction the author and his accomplices will be subject to arrest. We would like to open negotiations for extraditing these journalists. If they are extradited, the Thing is prepared to reopen the trial and admit counsel for the journalists.

The Royal Family is currently sueing Schau! for libel because of the article mentioned by you, and also because of the article on Her Majesty Queen Julian and Prince Ludwig appearing shortly after New Year, and the article on Prince Ludwig published last week. Joining that jawsuit would have a higher chance on a satisfying result than a procedure for extradition, and also on a sooner result. Our demands before court will be the retraction of those those three articles, a public apology in Schau! and Eiffelland's national newspapers, a public apology in the prime-time TV program Schau! TV (indeed, Schau!'s TV programme on the Eiffellandian broadcaster SatTV), a financial compensation for reputation damage and the lawsuit costs (i.e. the costs of our own barristers, but also the costs charged by the court). It would be of great help to us if Her Majesty Queen Julian would join this lawsuit, because our case will be stronger before Court if both Prince Ludwig and Her Majesty Qeen Julian confirm that they have never been a couple. From a financial point of view, we won' hit the company behind Schau! very hard, but the reputation damage to Schau! will be tremendous.

To be very honest, the extradition procedure can take quite a long time, and it has a very uncertain outcome. It could very well be that the judge will reject the extradition request because of the Freedom of the Press. A quicker way to handle this satisfactorily is to join the Royal Family's lawsuit against Schau!. This lawsuit will have a very high chance to succeed. If you join this lawsuit, it will become even easier to achieve a satisfactory success, and maybe even with a financial compensation that is higher than the one to be obtained from the judge. Telling the board of editors that the police and the Staatsschutz will look the other way when you kidnap the journalist and the board of editors, will also lead to a retraction those three articles, a public apology, a financial compensation and the lawer costs.

Applause.

Roman Lörig (moderator): "The first topic we are going to discuss is .."

David Lehmann (PCL): “Herr Kanzler, to what extent can the CDV still be called Christian? The CDV was in the government when the law increasing the legal reasons for abortion passed the Staatstag and the Staatsrat. The CDV was in the government when the law legalising homosexual intercourse passed the Staatstag and the Staatsrat. It was King Heinrich who upheld those laws, but the first thing that happened when you and King Albrecht took power, was that King Albrecht signed those laws. And even worse, governments with the CDV, even led by the CDV, told the police and the judicature to already work according to those two laws even if they had not become laws. The CDV not only violated the law of the Church in those days, but also the Eiffellandian law. During the 25 years between those two laws passing the Staatsrat and King Albrecht signing those laws, CDV-led governments violated the Eiffellandian law. Look at the country. Look at Trier alone. There are 400 so-called gay bars and ten so-called gay clubs in the capital of the biggest Tiburan Catholic country. All the big cities in Mainland Eiffelland have their gay bars and gay clubs, and the CDV sits on its hands. It is Sodom and Gomorrah in Eiffelland, and the CDV, which calls itself Christian, sits on its hands. So, to which extent is the CDV still Christian?”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf Von Seydewitz (CDV): “The CDV is probably more Christian than your PCL, Mr. Lehmann. By sticking to the letter of the Bible, you create situations that are not Christian at all. You want to force gay people to share their lives with people from the opposite gender, creating a lot of unhappy marriages—and with that unstable families and probably even intrafamilial violence. That is not what God wanted with His laws on marriage. He wanted love-relationships to be based on love and confidence. Such a relationship between two men or two women can never be wrong in His eyes. Forcing a homosexual into a heterosexual life, or forcing a homosexual to celibacy, can never be right in His eyes. It may look right according to the written text of the Bible, but it is not right according to the spirit behind the Bible. And the CDV considers the spirit behind the Bible more important than the written text of the Bible. For your comment on allowing abortions, indeed, the CDV cooperated with extending the legal grounds for abortion, but in parallel cooperated with a project initiated by the Archbishops Strelecki and Von Aschenbach to help women in trouble because of their pregnancies. In that way, we prevented abortions. I don’t have any confirmed numbers at hand, but there are investigations suggesting that the number of legal abortions is lower in Eiffelland than the number of illegal abortions in countries like Gunnland and Elben. I don’t know under which circumstances the illegal abortions are conducted in Gunnland and Elben, but I do know that abortions are conducted according to the highest medical standards in Eiffelland, and I also know that doctors conducting abortions illegally cannot work according to such high medical standards.”

Applause.

David Lehmann: “The written text of the Bible violating the spirit behind the Bible? Herr Kanzler, this is blasphemy. The spirit of the Bible is the written text of the Bible. And by supporting that project for single women being pregnant, you actually rewarded the sinful behaviour by those women that led to their pregnancies. Herr Kanzler, you did it all wrong. You violated the Church law. And your party violated the Eiffellandian law as well.”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf Von Seydewitz: “We did not violate the Eiffellandian law, we just worked according to future Eiffellandian legislation, because the legislation applicable at that time led to unwanted results. Sometimes you have to follow such an approach, especially when the legally valid approach leads to unwanted results and correcting the legally valid approach takes longer than expected.”

Applause.

Günther Ziesche (Volksunion): “In any case, the law legalising homosexual intercourse should never have become law. First of all, two men kissing is disgusting. Secondly, we are internationally making a fool of ourselves. Gunnlanders and Kadikistani are calling us sissies. Elbeners reject us morally and look at us as if we are stinking vagabonds. Even the Pelasgians and Burgundians raise an eyebrow when they hear about our gay scenes. We shouldn’t allow homosexual intercourse, we should show gays how they have to live their lives.”

Applause.

Franziska Trittin (Grün): “By bashing gays up, like your followers do it?”

Applause.

Günther Ziesche: “Well, that is not what I have in mind. Bashing up people is always the wrong thing to do, and the Volksunion strongly rejects violence. The problem is, however, that two guys kissing or walking hand-in-hand is so disgusting, that it is sometimes impossible to stop people from becoming aggressive.”

Applause.

Rüdiger Zimmermann (SPE): “The Volksunion rejecting violence? Good that you mention it, Mr. Ziesche, because the Volksunion is generally very silent in the case of gay-bashing and violence against Jews and migrants.”

Laughter and applause.

Günther Ziesche: “Should we really speak up every time a gay, Jew or migrant feels uncomfortable? Look at our political program. We explicitly described our rejection of violence there. That should be enough.”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf Von Seydewitz: “I think you should, Mr. Ziesche, especially given the fact that it is mostly your electorate that bashes up gays, Jews and migrants. You yourself feed the hate against gays, Jews and migrants, even in this debate. Especially you have a responsibility to raise your voice against this kind of violence if you want to follow the anti-violence paragraph in your political program. But that is a responsibility you structurally refuse to take. To what extent are you really against this kind of violence? You just played down the problem to ‘people feeling uncomfortable’, and you just phrased an excuse for this kind of violence. I think that that anti-violence paragraph in your political program is just an empty phrase.”

Strong applause.

Günther Ziesche: “That anti-violence paragraph is definitely not an empty phrase. We talk to our supporters and try to convince them to stay non‑violent. I think that this approach is better than publicly condemning violence against gays, Jews and migrants. And for ‘feeding the hate against gays, Jews and migrants’, we do not feed that hate. We only phrase it in the parliaments. You ignore it, but we phrase feelings living under more people than actually voting for us. Exactly ignoring those feelings leads to violence, because it is the only way those feelings can go when they are not heard.”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf Von Seydewitz: “We do not ignore that hate. But what we refuse to do, is acting upon feelings of hate only based on somebody being different. That is a despicable train of thought based on plain stupidity. I refuse to base politics on that. If you want to do so, then without us.”

Strong applause.

Günther Ziesche: “A despicable train of thought based on plain stupidity, you say … At this moment, the polls show 15 to 20% of the people intending to vote PCL or Volksunion tomorrow. 15 to 20% rejecting your policies regarding gays, Jews and migrants. Are you suggesting that all those people are stupid and have despicable thoughts? Na sowas, what a negative opinion you have on the people you govern, Herr Kanzler.”

Laughter and applause.

David Lehmann: “I object against this train of thought, Mr. Ziesche. I strongly object against you placing our electorate under your banner. The PCL does definitely not stand for violence against gays, Jews and migrants. Indeed, we are against legalising homosexual intercourse, because that is a sin. But we are also against bashing up gays. Bashing up people is a sin in itself. I strongly object against you playing acts of violence down. I strongly object against you phrasing excuses for violence. But first of all, I strongly object against you suggesting that the PCL-voters share your abject thoughts. We are two different kinds of political parties, with two different kinds of opinions. Let that be clear.”

Strong applause.

Franziska Trittin: “But you did not vote for our motion to let more Crotobaltislavonian refugees in. What is your stance about immigration then? And what is your stance about refugees?”

David Lehmann: “There are two problems here: Understanding the needs of refugees, and the capacities of Eiffelland. I completely understand why refugees flee their countries of birth. I completely understand why the Crotobaltislavonian Jews fled their home country. Let’s face it, Farrago is not known for his humanity. Furth-…”

Günther Ziesche: “Hear hear, Mr. Lehmann playing down the regime of Crotobaltislavonia.”

Applause.

David Lehmann: “Ever heard of irony, Mr. Ziesche?”

Laughter and strong applause.

Heinrich Liebknecht (KPE): "There is one thing I have to object against. President Farrago of Crotobaltislavonia was facing a serious challenge. He had no other choice than taking decisive action. There was a rebellion going on. Each government would act harshly in such a case, even an Eiffellandian government."

Applause.

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Köger (FDV): “And of course when somebody has to save a Marxist-Leninovist workers paradise, each and every form of violence is allowed. In contrast with a government wanting to preserve a democratic system against a Marxist-Leninovist attempt to overthrow the system; then the democratic government has to succumb to the Marxist-Leninovist warriors and submissively undergo their violence. Am I phrasing it correctly, Mr. Liebknecht?”

Laughter and strong applause.

Heinrich Liebknecht (KPE): "Herr Vize-Kanzler, have you ever studied Marx? You should know about the transition to True Communism. Kadikistan is still in the phase of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. That is a phase we all have to go through. Also Crotobaltislavonia and Xinhai are going through that phase. But the Dictatorship of the Proletariat is always better than the capitalist dictatorship whe have to succumb to."

Applause.

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Köger (FDV): “Really, Mr. Liebknecht? When was it that the revolution took place in Kadikistan? 1907? So 111 years ago? And still the country is in the phase of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. Or is the current situation in Kadikistan the end stage of the transition to Communism, i.e. True Communism?”

Applause.

Heinrich Liebknecht (KPE): "No, Herr Vize-Kanzler, Kadikistan is still in the phase of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. And the reason why is the fact that the rest of the world is resisting against going through the transition. And that is a stupid decision. The sooner the world switches to Marxism-Leninovism, the sooner the world will enter True Communism."

Applause.

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Köger (FDV): “Indeed. The rest of the world is resisting against switching to Marxism-Leninovism. And do you know why, Mr. Liebknecht? At least I know it for the proletariat in Gallo-Germania. The reason is the social market economy, which combines the advantages of capitalism with the advantages of communism. The Eiffellandian proletariat drives a . The Kadikistani proletariat cannot afford a car, and risks going to jail when it mentions that the Eiffellandian proletariat can afford a car. No wonder that the Eiffellandian proletariat resists against starting a revolution.”

Applause.

Roman Lörig (moderator): "Herr Vizekanzler, Mr. Liebknecht. Thank you. Mr. Lehmann wanted to say something about the refugee problem, but was interrupted. I want to give him the opportunity to continue his statement."

David Lehmann: “Thank you Mr. Lörig. What I wanted to say, is the following. The number of people fleeing Crotobaltislavonia was so high, that a humanitary disaster was about to unfold in Trivodnia. Something had to be done. The government decided to take a number of Crotobaltislavonian refugees to Eiffelland and grant them asylum. That was the right thing to do. The other side of the problem is the capacities of Eiffelland. No matter how rich our country is, Eiffelland cannot feed all the poor people in the world. We have to face that reality. We could not take all Crotobaltislavonian refugees up. The government decided to grant 50,000 refugees asylum to Eiffelland, and to prepare them for Eiffellandian citizenship. They based the number of 50,000 refugees on the capacities that Eiffelland has to take up refugees and integrate them in society. That number represents the perfect balance between what has to be done and what can be done. The government did the right thing here.”

Applause.

Günther Ziesche: “The right thing? The money spent on those people should have been spent on Eiffellandians, not on foreigners. Furthermore, they were offered Eiffellandian citizenship. They aren’t even Eiffellandians!”

Applause.

Andreas Fritschler (LDP): “Well, actually they are. They received Eiffellandian citizenship. What’s your problem, Mr. Ziesche? The money is spent on Eiffellandians!”

Laughter and strong applause.

Andreas Fritschler: “Anyway, it will probably take quite a lot of time until the next regime change in Crotobaltislavonia, so we have to take into account that those people can never return. Then it is better to give them a legal status in another country, like Eiffelland did.”

Applause.

David Lehmann: “But then the fact remains that the government did nothing to prevent this situation from happening. It allowed Kadikistan to build up a basis in the heart of Gallogermania. Why didn’t the government take actions to prevent this?”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf Von Seydewitz: “That is the same question as the Chancellor of Carinthia-Harkány asked. I can only say what I previously said. Eiffelland does not border Crotobaltislavonia. Our troops would have had to move through either Carinthia-Harkány or Bergenheim and Trivodnia to get there. We would probably have obtained the approval to do so, but before we could do so, the Kadikistani had already created facts. The only thing we could have done is bombing the Southern coast of Kadikistan. That would have induced a world war. I know that a certain testosterone-driven Chancellor governing a country to the North of us …

Laughter and applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf Von Seydewitz: “…wanted us to do so, but that same country to the North of us didn’t do anything, either. And that while that country shares a large border with Crotobaltislavonia. The last country that has the right to accuse us of doing nothing in this matter is Carinthia-Harkány. Furhtermore, it should be clear that Kadikistan doesn’t border Crotobaltislavonia, either. The Kadikistani showed up in Crotobaltislavonia after Gunnland or Elben either granting them right of passage for whichever reason or not paying attention while the troops were moving through their country. I have to add to this that I don’t believe that this was the result of Gunnland or Elben allying with Kadikistan. I think that those countries were either blackmailed to do this, or were fooled by Kadikistan. Gunnland grants non-military transports from Calidia to Crotobaltislavonia, so it could be that the Kadikistani hode some things in those transports. At worst, Gunnland and Elben can be accused of giving in to blackmail or being too faithful, and that was what I did. But what happened, happened. We have made clear that it should not happen again, and that’s it. Now we have to look at the future regarding Gunnland and Elben. In any case, I reject each and any kind of blame for the Christmas Coup.”

Applause.

David Lehmann: “Fact is that we didn’t do anything to stop Kadikistan. Fact is also, that parts of the international community expected us to do so.”

Applause.

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Kögler: “Fact is also that we didn’t hear anything from the Tiburan Empire, and we cannot drag our allies into a war against Kadikistan without informing them. Furthermore, we cannot take it up against Kadikistan without the Tiburan Empire backing us. And I do think that Carinthia-Harkány wouldn’t move a finger if we would get at war with Kadikistan. It can very well be that the international community expects us to act as the police force of the world, but we can’t. We have never been able to do so, and we are not able to do so at this moment, either. We are very well able to defend ourselves, but we are not able to maintain the order in the world.”

Andreas Fritschler: “To which extent are we able to guarantee Trivodnia’s safety then?”

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Kögler: “We will be forced to act when Kadikistan attacks Trivodnia. If Trivodnia falls, Kadikistan will have the perfect basis to conquer Gallo-Germania. We will have no other choice than to attack in that case.”

Andreas Fritschler: “But you just said that we cannot do this on our own.”

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Kögler: “That’s correct. So we can’t take that step too lightly. Furthermore, we have to make sure that we get all non-communist Gallo-Germania on our side, preferably also Engellex, although I am afraid that that country has chosen to go into isolation.”

Heinrich Liebknecht: “But is it really needed to take action against Kadikistan? In the case of Crotobaltislavonia, Kadikistan acted upon request by the legitimate government. There was no need to step in. There is no need for Trivodnia to feel unsafe. The actions in Crotobaltislavonia were pointed at the rebels, not at Trivodnia.”

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Kögler: “As long as Kadikistan considers it needed to invade countries and install Marxist-Leninovist regimes in the countries it invaded, we need to be prepared. Si vis pacem para bellum.”

Applause.

Roman Lörig (moderator): “Lady, gentlemen, I think it is time to switch to another international topic. The Retalian Sea. What are your opinions on that?”

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Kögler: “I represented Eiffelland at the conference on this topic. The main discussion was about what to consider the Retalian Sea. According to our atlasses, the Retalian Sea is all the seas around Retalia, and the sea arm between Serenierre and Carinthia-Harkány. For the naming convention, I stick to that definition. Then the question comes up: What are the territorial waters of which country? Retalia sees a security risk here, and I fully understand that.”

Andreas Fritschler: “But calling the complete Retalian Sea around Retalia the territorial waters of Retalia and blocking it off completely goes too far. You have to realise that that has consequences to the sea ports of Warnemünde, Bad Hersfeld and Lübeck as well.”

Applause.

Vice-Chancellor Rudolph Kögler: “I totally agree with you on that. Retalia cannot block the access of Serenierre and Carinthia-Harkány to the Long Sea. Commercial and recreational sea traffic must be allowed without any restrictions there. On the other hand, we must realise that Serenierre is in the same political camp as Kadikistan and Xinhai. Around Christmas last year, a fleet from Xinhai tried to sail to Serenierre. Such actions are a security risk according to me; not only for Retalia, but also for Eiffelland. I completely understand that Retalia wants to control the Retalian Sea. The only thing we have to think about is, how to control it. We have to find the perfect balance between the commercial interest of Carinthia-Harkány and Serenierre on the one side and the security interest of Retalia and us on the other side. I favour a second conference on the Retalian Sea.”

Applause.

Roman Lörig (moderator): “Thank you all. Let’s go to the last topic at hand. Recently the Royal Family extensively reached the news. To be precise, Prince Ludwig’s homosexuality. This led to quite a lot of controversy. Some people wanted to remove him from the succession to the throne, others supported him. Polls show that 70% of the Eiffellandians is supportive towards Prince Ludwig, and that 30% of the Eiffellandians wants him barred from accession to the Throne.”

David Lehmann: “Well, then we are back at the topic of homosexuality. The Royal Family has an example function in our society. Therefore, it cannot be that a Royal Prince dances shirtless in a gay club. That is immoral. The King has to take corrective action.”

Applause.

Rüdiger Zimmermann: “I don’t think so. Prince Ludwig is a guy in his twenties. People of his age go to clubs. Gay people of his age go to gay clubs. I don’t see why that should be different for Prince Ludwig.”

Strong applause.

Günther Ziesche: “But then you are already presuming that homosexuality is normal. It is not. Prince Ludwig does not have a place in the line of succession to the Throne unless he dates women and marries.”

Applause.

Franziska Trittin: “Marries a woman, you probably mean.”

Günther Ziesche: “Of course I mean that. Men can only marry women, and women can only marry men. I know that Grün wants to change that, but your proposal for gay marriage has not passed the Staatstag yet. It is still the law in Eiffelland that men can only marry women, and women can only marry men. In any case, after this performance in a gay bar, nobody will take him seriously any more. He should step down from the line of succession himself.”

Applause.

David Lehmann: “Here I agree with Mr. Ziesche. Prince Ludwig cannot stay in the line of succession to the Throne unless he repents, and then either sticks to a celibatary life or marries a woman.”

Applause.

Günther Ziesche: “So you leave an option for him to stay in the line of succession?”

David Lehmann: “Yes. There is always room for forgiveness when the sinner repents. This also applies to Prince Ludwig. When he repents and doesn’t commit the sin again, he is free of sin. And then he can accede to the throne.”

Applause.

Andreas Fritschler: “I must say that this is not really a pressing issue. Prince Ludwig is number six in the line of accession to the Throne. It is very unlikely that he will ever become King.”

David Lehmann: “But it is not about the chance that Prince Ludwig will ever actually accede to the throne. It is about the principle whether he can stay in the line of succession to the Throne or not.”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf von Seydewitz: “But that is not up to us to decide. It is up to the King to decide whether Prince Ludwig stays in the line of succession or not.”

Günther Ziesche: “Then maybe it’s time for a change in the constitution. Maybe we should take at least some influence on who can accede to the Throne and who not. In any case, Prince Ludwig’s behaviour is a disgrace to the whole Royal Family. This disgrace can only be reversed when the Prince is removed from the line of succession. He disqualified himself for the Throne, so he has lost his rights to the Throne.”

Applause.

Roman Lörig (moderator): “Mrs. Trittin, Mr. Ziesche just talked about a change of the constitution so that Parliament can take influence on who has the right to accede to the Throne. Actually, Grün has such a proposal in its election program, just like the Volksunion.”

Franziska Trittin: “That is right, but we don’t have that proposal in our election program to bar somebody from the Throne because of homosexuality. We only think that the matter of who will become the Head of State should not be a matter for the King alone.”

Chancellor Matthias Graf von Seydewitz: “But which problem would that solve? I don’t see a danger in any member of the Royal Family. Both King Albrecht and his sons and grandchildren are smart people. Whoever accedes to the Throne will be highly capable to see whether his designated successor can face the challenge or not. I don’t see the need for a constitution change here. Especially not because there are currently people who want to bar Royal Princes from the Throne for the wrong reasons.”

Applause.

Günther Ziesche: “For the right reasons you mean. Or do you want to risk a King on the Throne who is actually a Queen?”

Laughter.

Günther Ziesche: “How would it look like when the King of Eiffelland introduces the Prince-Consort to the Emperor of the Tiburan Empire? Prince Ludwig must be barred from the Throne. He will always be remembered shirtless striking a sexual pose with a guy. If the King doesn’t take action, he himself is not fit to do the job.”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf von Seydewitz: “This is quite a harsh statement, Mr. Ziesche. And unfair as well. I know the King as a very intelligent and thoughtful man. If anybody is fit to be King, it is King Albrecht. Prince Ludwig is a very thoughtful young man as well. Maybe it was not really a good idea of him to dance shirtless in a gay club, but that is nothing more than a faux pas. It was a momentary lapse of reason, not a serious crime.”

Applause.

David Lehmann: “But what about the Prince dating men? He gives the wrong example. We cannot allow such a show of sin at the top of the society.”

Applause.

Rüdiger Zimmermann: “70% of the people approve Prince Ludwig dating men. It is not up to us to prescribe whom Prince Ludwig can date and whom not.”

Applause.

David Lehmann: “Then we have to make clear to 70% of the people that what he did is a sin.”

Applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf von Seydewitz: “And then we are back at our discussion of earlier tonight. Is it a sin to sleep with somebody from the same gender because of Leviticus 20 Verse 13, or is it a sin to force somebody into a life he or she doesn’t want given the fact that the life he does want doesn’t harm anything? Because that is the matter at hand. Nobody and nothing will be inflicted any harm when Prince Ludwig dates young men, but Prince Ludwig will be inflicted a lot of harm when he is forced into a marriage with a woman. And that woman will be inflicted harm as well. That can never be what God’s wants.”

Strong applause.

David Lehmann: “How do you know what God wants? God put a challenge to Prince Ludwig. It is up to him to face that challenge and to show his love to God.”

Applause.

Andreas Fritschler: “Well, I do believe in God, but I do not believe that God imposes this kind of challenges to people. Maybe he didn’t foresee that homosexuality could emerge, but he will never expect from people to curb the strongest feelings mankind knows and engage in something that will induce the highest levels of disgust mankind knows.”

Strong applause.

Chancellor Matthias Graf von Seydewitz: “And that is exactly what I want to make clear.”

Applause.

Roman Lörig (moderator): “Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the end of the debate. Herr Kanzler, Herr Vice-Kanzler, Frau Trittion, Herr Zimmermann, Herr Fritschler, Herr Lehmann, Herr Ziesche, Herr Liebknecht, thank you for your attendance. Dear viewers, thank you for watching this debate. We sincerely hope that it will ease your decisions during the voting on Sunday. I will see you back on Wednesday in my weekly talkshow Lörig.”

Strong applause, music and list of credits.

We hope the voters of Eiffelland do not believe the chancellor of Eiffelland's transparent lies about Gunnland. His electoral position must be desperate to result to this kind of slander.

Conservative Christians and far-right Volkunion win elections
Centre-right coalition looses majority in Staatstag after massive seats loss

Three months ago, the Chrstiandemocratic CDV was right on track for prolonging the extremely good result of the national elections of four years ago. Chancellor Matthias Graf Von Seydewitz would surely get a third term. But then the Christmas Coup came. The feeling on many people that the Cabinet Von Seydewitz II was too lax during this crisis resulted in shifting the public opinion to more hawkish stances and a rejection of liberal stances, and in the March on Trier. Since then, the CDV and its Market Liberal coalition partner FDV lost more and more votes in the polls. The provincial elections in Emsland and Obereiffel were a disaster for the national coalition; Emsland even got a leftwing provincial government.
The trend in the opinion polls and the provincial elections in Emsland and Obereiffel continued during the national elections. The two governing parties, the Christiandemocratic CDV and the Market Liberal FDV, lost a massive amount of seats.
But the Christmas Coup had another result as well. The Marxist-Leninovist KPE traditionally had a small but stable basis of around 2% of the voters, always good for aroud 10 seats in the Staatstag. The KPE had a stable basis especially in Niedereiffel, where it traditionally obtained 4 to 5% of the votes. This has changed. The KPE lost half its electorate nation-wide, and threequarters of its electorate in Niedereiffel. As a result, it was almost wiped out of the Staatstag.
The political party that traditionally wins when the CDV loses, the Sociodemocratic SPE, did not benefit very much. The big winners of the elections are the Conservative Catholic PCL and the far-right Volksunion. Basically, the Eiffellandian voters turned to the right, despite the massive losses for the big centre-right party and the big rightwing party, and despite the fact that the left wing of the parliament gained seats.

Table 1 shows the results of the elections per province and overall. The seats in the Staatstag are filled by means of proportional representation per province in Mainland Eiffelland. Each province gets a number of seats in the Staatstag. The number of seats each province gets is not fixed, however; it is based on the number of votes cast per province. This can mean that province A gets more seats in the Staatstag than province B, although province B has more people entitled to vote than province A. This actually happened in these elections as well: There are less people entitled to vote in Rheinland than in Sauerland, but because more people actually voted in Rheinland than in Sauerland, Rheinland got more seats.
The idea behind this system is that each Staatstag member primarily represents the voters of his or her province. The number of seats each political party gets is determined by dividing the number of votes obtained by that political party divided by the number of votes needed for at least one seat. This quotient is rounded down. At first instance, there will be some empty seats after this calculation has been performed for all political parties taking part in the elections; these seats are called Restmandate (residual seats) and are divided over the parties entitled to at least one seat. If a political party does not have obtained enough votes for at least one seat in the province it wants to represent, it is not entitled to receive remainder seats, either.
This system turned out disadvantageous to the KPE in these elections. The 2% of the votes it obtained in 2014 were enough for obtaining seats in Obereiffel, Niedereiffel and Emsland. In these elections, it reached the electoral quota only in Niedereiffel. Therefore, a loss of half the electorate led to a loss of 80% of the seats.
There is another anomaly: Although Grün obtained less votes nation-wide than the Volksunion, it obtained one seat more in the Staatstag.

Table 1

Table 2 shows the number of seats in the Staatstag compared with the results of 2014. The party that lost the largest number of seats is the big winner of the previous elections: The CDV. It lost votes to the SPE and also the Volksunion, but mostly to the PCL. The FDV lost some votes to the CDV and the social liberal LDP, but mainly to the Volksunion. The KPE lost votes to Grün, and a bit of votes to the SPE. The SPE gained votes from the CDV and the LDP, but lost votes to Grün and the Volksunion. Finally, the LDP gained votes from the FDV but lost votes to Grün.

Table 2

Despite its massive loss of seats, the CDV is still the largest fraction in the Staatstag. Therefore, it will have the first initiative in forming the new cabinet. From a numerical point of view, several coalitions are possible. The first one would be a right-wing coalition between the CDV, FDV, PCL and Volksunion. That coalition would contain the political parties that won the elections. Given what can called a shift to the right, it would also be the coalition that would represent the wish of the voters best. However, it would also contain the political parties that formed the previous cabinet. In principle, this would mean that the government that was just voted out of ofice just continues governing, although some things may change. Furthermore, the CDV and the PCL made chrystal clear during the campaigns that they would not govern with the Volksunion.
A second possibility would be a coalition between the CDV, the FDV and the LDP. Programmaticly, this would be the easiest coalition. The LDP already indicated, however, that it would not give a coalition that was voted out of office a majority again.
A third possibility would be a coalition between the SPE, the LDP, Grün and the PCL. This coalition would contain three political parties that gained votes in the elections. It would exclude the biggest fraction in the Staatstag, but legally that is not a problem. There is another problem, however. The PCL only wants to govern if the abortion laws are restricted, education on homosexuality and transgenderism is stopped and transgender operations are forbidden. The SPE, the LDP and Grün will never accept that.
The most probable outcome of the coalition negotiations will be a coalition between the CDV and the SPE, completed with either the LDP or Grün. The LDP would be the easier solution, but Grün’s electoral win may have to be honoured one way or another. One important factor that will ease the negotiations between te CDV and the SPE is that the CDV’s nemeses of ten years ago have left the political stage. Ex-Chancellor Horst Jörgens was declared dead last year after he disappeared in 2010, and Hans-Jochen Rudersbach resigned from all his political tasks after the elections from four years ago. Furthermore, the current leadership of the SPE is much more pragmatic than Ex-Chancellor Jörgens was.

After the massive seats loss in the Staatstag yesterday, Demissionary Chancellor Von Seydewitz and Demissionary Vice-Chancellor Kögler announced after the first meetings of their fractions that they will leave politics. They will continue on their posts in the demissionary government until they have handed over their duties to their successors. Demissionary Minister for Economic Affairs Dr. Stephan Röpke will act as temporary political leader of the CDV, and the fraction leader of the FDV in the previous legislature period Maximilian Schrempf will act as temporary political leader of the FDV.

The Free State of Trivodnia hails yet another successful election in the Kingdom of Eiffelland, which continues to serve as an inspiration to all democracies. We in Amstov look forward to working whoever forms the next government in Trier, and hope to continue close cooperation on the pressing issues that face Gallo-Germania.

King receives presidents of Staatstag and Staatsrat

The formation process has begun. Traditionally, the King resides in Retalia every Tuesday because he is also the Grand-Duke of Retalia. Therefore, and in order to give the political parties enough time to determine their positions in the coalition negotiations, he starts the government formation on Wednesday with gathering advices. Today, the Presidents of both chambers of Parliament and several other advisors were invited. Tomorrow and Friday, the political leaders of the parties going to be part of the new Staatstag will visit the King to give their advices. Then next week the King will appoint a mediator who will lead the coalition negotiations. In most cases, the negotiator gets a straight instruction to start negotiations between two or three political parties.
Strictly speaking, the old Staatstag is still in charge. It takes ten days to reach the final election results. It is very unlikely that the number of seats announced at Sunday night will change, but it is possible. Furthermore, it is not clear yet which persons will take the seats in the Staatstag, only to which party the persons will belong. One day after the official results have been declared, the King will disband the old Staatstag and install the new Staatstag.

King receives political leaders of four largest fractions

The political leaders are received in order of fraction size. The political leader of the largest fraction is invited first, then the political leader of the second-largest fraction etc. Today the King received Dr. Stephan Röpke from the CDV, Rüdiger Zimmermann from the SPE, Maximilian Schrempf from the FDV and Andreas Fritschler from the LDP. Tomorrow he will receive David Lehmann from the PCL, Franziska Trittin from Grün, Günther Ziesche from the Volksunion and Heinrich Liebknecht from the KPE.
The political leaders agree about one thing: The next cabinet should at least contain the CDV and the SPE. The opinion about the third political party differed: Both Dr. Röpke and Fritschler favour the LDP as the third party, but the Zimmermann and Mrs. Trittin favour Grün. Lehmann indicated that the PCL is willing to become the third political party under certain conditions. Ziesche is the only political leader who disagrees with the idea that the CDV and the SPE should form the new government: "The Volksunion and the PCL won the elections; they should become part of the new cabinet, and that won't go with the SPE."

27APR2018
King receives political leaders of four smallest fractions

Today the King received David Lehmann from the PCL, Franziska Trittin from Grün, Günther Ziesche from the Volksunion and Heinrich Liebknecht from the KPE. Now he will decide how to continue with the formation.
It is tradition in Eiffelland that the new Chancellor will be a member of the biggest coalition member. This means that the 75 year old Dr. Röpke will probably become the new Chancellor. It seems odd that the CDV chose exactly him to become the political leader, but this choice may actually be less odd than it seems. Von Seydewitz is not an easy person to succeed. He was a forceful man, and his direct successor will always stand in his shadow. Therefore, the man or woman succeeding him will never last. In theory, this could lead to the CDV even becoming smaller than the SPE. That is a situation the CDV wants to prevent. Therefore, it chose somebody who will bridge the period in which Von Seydewitz's shadow will fade. Dr. Röpke, who has been leading the Minister of Economic Affairs for 12 years, is that person. On the one hand, he is a man with enough stature to become the new Chancellor and lead the CDV. On the other hand, due to his age, he won't stay long. His task is mainly to lead the CDV into calm water and facilitate candidates for succeeding Von Seydewitz to emerge and make themselves popular. One of the persons to look at from now on is the former submarine captain and current Demissionary State Secretary of Defence Ferdinand Jung. He is tipped to become the new Minister of Defence in the Cabinet Röpke.

King appoints former Minister for Internal Affairs Philipp Neubauer as negotiator

Today the King appointed former Minister for Internal Affairs Philipp Neubauer as negotiator leading the coalition negotiations. The instruction he received, is to find out whether the LDP or Grün will fit best as third party in a coalition with the CDV and the SPE.

Cardinal Meyer abdicates

The diocese of Weimar announced that Bishop Meyer offered his abdication to Pope Iohannes XXIII due to health-related reasons. Shortly after the conclave, Bishop Meyer was admitted to hospital after a collapse. Later on, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He asked the Pope to appoint Auxiliary Bishop Jonathan Farnbach as the new Bishop of Weimar.

OOC: @Elben, @Gunnland, how to proceed from here onwards with Jonathan Farnbach?

Philipp Neubauer and Max Gerber to continue as coalition negotiators

After a week of negotiations and discussions with the CDV, the SPE, the LDP and Grün, coalition negotiator Philipp Neubauer took his report to the King today. In front of the press gathered together before the Trierer Stadtschloss, he indicated that he will advice the King to start negotiations between the CDV, the SPE and the LDP: "All in all, that is the best fit, and negotiations between these three parties will have the highest chance to succeed. I will also advice the King to appoint two negotiators: One from the CDV and one from the SPE."
One hour later, Max Gerber, SPE-minister in the first Cabinet Jörgens, arrived at the Trierer Stadtschloss as well. Another hour later, they came out of the palace together and gave a short statement before the press. The King appointed Philipp Neubauer and Max Gerber as negotiators with the instruction to lead the coalition negotiations between the CDV, the SPE and the LDP.

Pope Iohannes XXIII appoints Auxiliary Bishop Jonathan Farnbach as the new Bishop of Weimar

Today it became known that Pope Iohannes has appointed Auxiliary Bishop Jonathan Farnbach as the new Bishop of Weimar. This means that the very conservative Emeritus-Bishop Meyer is succeeded by someone who is as liberal as Archbishop Strelecki. This is quite a striking step, given the fact that the liberal faction in the Church is rather impopular at the highest levels of the Church.

Gunnish Queen Julian joins Royal Family in libel lawsuit against Schau!

Queen Julian of Gunnland announced that she joins the Royal Family in the libel lawsuit against Schau!. She indicated that the articles in question also damaged her reputation, as well as her position as Queen of Gunnland. Meanwhile, the Government of Gunnland is also meddling in this affair: It requested the extradition of the publisher and the authors of the articles to stand trial for lese-majesty. The Kreisgericht Trier will judge about this request for extradition next week. The libel lawsuit will also be judged before the Kreisgericht Trier, in two weeks.

The escapades of Prince Johann

King Albrecht and Queen Marinka did everything they could to make the world more beautiful by putting five extremely handsome men on the world. By default, a Royal Prince belongs to the country’s most desired batchelors. Mostly because of his position, but it is different with Eiffelland’s current Royal Princes. All five were the country’s most desired batchelors mainly because of their looks. Two of them are not available any more: Crown-Prince Friedrich and Prince Wolfgang are happily married, and grounded families. Meanwhile, the King and Queen have six grandchildren, and Princess Antonia is pregnant again.
This leaves three batchelors to desire. Prince Ludwig indulges his lust for young men; we already wrote about how he disgraces his family, and with that the dignity of the Throne. Prince Franz sometimes has a girlfriend, but is mainly occupied with his software firm, and with finalising his studies at the Robert Koch Universität. But what is our Jetfighterprince doing? Prince Johann?
We repeatedly wrote about the girls he slept with, but stopped counting at 1048. That was ten years ago. And he slept with only a few of them more than once. We managed to trace back his history with girls. Also his sexual history. It doesn’t occur often, but he is one of the few men who were deflowered at age 14. His voice hadn’t even broken yet. Since then, he hops from bed to bed, leaving a cascade of used women behind. Or maybe we should say that he flies from bed to bed with the same speed as his jet fighter. He even does threesomes and orgies. We have pictures of him involved in threesomes with girls, threesomes with a guy and a girl, orgies, even when he has sex with only one girl. We publish some of them in this article as proof.
When he sleeps with so many girls, you would expect him to have some extramarital children. The funny thing is, he doesn’t. Why not? We do know that Prince Johann had mumps when he was a child, so it could be that he is currently showing that libido and fertility are two different things. It could also be that he became infertile due to a gonorrhoea infection. At least there are lots of opportunities that he could have got an STD, so why not? Would he care about condom use? We think not.
Yet another Royal Prince who follows his lust at all cost. Prince Johann doesn’t care about the women he sleeps with. He only cares for his lust for flesh. And the King continues to sit on his hands while yet another one of his sons disgraces the family. We from Schau! demand action! It can’t be that the King allows his sons to violate the dignity of his family, and with that the dignity of the Throne. The King has a duty to defend the dignity of the Throne. He has to call Prince Johann to order. And the Armed Forces have to come to action as well. Such a sexual pervert in the uniform of an officer of the Air Force, that cannot be. An Air Force pilot cannot live such a licentious life; that violates the dignity of the Armed Forces.
During the years, we published about all the escapades of Prince Johann. During the last months, we published about the escapades of Prince Ludwig as well. How much do we have to publish before the King steps in?

OOC: For the grandchildren, I RPed only the births of Prince Philipp and the Princesses Mathilde and Charlotte, but I think it is justifiable to state that Prince Friedrich and his wife got another baby, and that Prince Wolfgang and Princess Antonia got children as well.

For the Mumps infection, vaccination aganst Mumps, Measles and Rubella became part of the Dutch vaccination scheme in 1987. That would be 2005 in our world.

And eh, Schau! is not perverse enough to publish nude pictures uncensored, so the essential parts of the published pictures are blurred. Faces are not blurred though. Therefore, it could be that some faces are recognised. I am considering to RP that the uncensored pictures will appear on the internet.

Government increases alarm level for armed forces
Civil unrest in Crotobaltislavonia sparks fear for Kadikistani intervention

While the protests against the Farrago-regime in Crotobaltislavonia are intensifying, the fear for yet another Kadikistani intervention is rising as well. Demissionary Minister for Foreign Affairs invited the ambassadors of Gunnland and Elben for lunch at the Ministry. During that lunch, he indicated that he wants to ask the governments of said countries to do everything they can to prevent Kadikistan from sending troops to Crotobaltislavonia, and to offer Eiffellandian assistance when needed. Meanwhile, the Demissionary Government is in close contact with the King, the coalition negotiators Philipp Neubauer and Max Gerber, and the political leaders of the CDV, SPE and LDP (Dr. Stephan Röpke, Rüdiger Zimmermann and Andreas Fritschler, respectively). Kreisgericht Trier rejects Gunnish request for extradition of journalist and board of editors Schau!

The Kreisgericht Trier has rejected the Gunnish request for extradition of the journalist who wrote the article on the putative romantic affair of Queen Julian and Prince Ludwig. The judges based their verdict on the principle of “Ne bis in idem”, the principle that somebody cannot be trialed twice for the same thing: “The publisher and the board of editors of Schau!, as well as the journalist who wrote the articles on Prince Ludwig and his supposed love affair with Queen Julian, have already been charged with libel in Eiffelland. The Gunnish Government requests the extradition of these individuals for the same thing. Approving the extradition of these individuals to Gunnland would mean that they would be charged for the same thing twice: Once in Eiffelland and once in Gunnlandia. This is in violation with the principle of ‘Ne bis in idem’, the principle that forbids that somebody is trialed more than once for the same crime. These individuals can be charged with libel only once. Given the fact that the supposed crime took place in Eiffelland, the courts in Eiffelland are competent for this supposed crime.”
The Gunnish Government has the right to lodge an appeal against this verdict at the Provinzgericht Niedereiffel.
