I wasn't entirely comfortable simply replacing Warre, and having looked at the recent activities of other inactivity players at the moment, I noticed most went absent at a similar time.

So, instead of replacing Warre in its entirety, I decided it was fair to instead carve out a spot from Occitania for Lassisse. As highly unusual as this is, it was the only option I could see that ticked all the boxes on fairness; part of my decision was based on the fact that historically Occitania's spot was in fact two.

With this in mind, should activity pick up from new players, I will have to start issuing inactivity warnings, and removals. I will also be looking to sort that empty space out north of Kadikistan so as to be a suitable area for players.

And ONE other thing, the Free State is a vacant map spot. I kept that spot simply as a template to aid in carving out spots in that part of Himyar for the future, should it be needed.

I have one remark concerning the cities in my country. According to the legend, I have eight cities with more than 2.5 million inhabitants. Actually, the only city with more than 2.5 million inhabitants in my country is Trier. Bremen's metropolitan area could indeed cross the 2.5 million line, but the city itself has only 2 million inhabitants. All my other cities on the map have less than 2.5 million inhabitants, even when taking the metropolitan area into account.

One other thing. Presuming that the equator of our RP earth has a circumference of about 40,000 km, I made an Excel sheet which shows per degree of latitude the number of kilometers to the equator, and per degree of latitude the distance between 1, 2, 3 etc. until 180 meridians. Given the fact that our RP earth will probably spheric-shaped and not cilindric-shaped, the distance between two meridians is smaller at 50 degrees latitude than at the equator.

I can only commend Caledonia for his valiant efforts of ridding the map of otherwise useless and completely unattractive islands and blank areas on the map.

Oh I just realized I got carved in two weeks ago. RIP Santaea, welcome, Lassisse. It seems there's quite some potential for worldbuilding considering Santaea is/was a different nation.

Also, thanks Engellex for making the border along God's Range, I know I haven't updated the maps in awhile as the host seems to have stopped hosting them.

Time to edit my massive wiki entry.

Can you please take ALL of these islands? We really really need to cut down on the unclaimed pixels.

Even the Falklands have more than one pixel in them.

Man, I can't believe I keep on asking people to get more pixels... 10 years ago everybody wanted more pixels. Where's the world gone to?

I will of course provide a proper and detailed description, historic background and roleplay with them, involving Retalian Thaumantsmth Companies, cloaks, daggers, money, rum and pretty hispanic wenches.

If possible, could I take the land 20-30 N and 20-30 W? Two grids west of Al-Kez. It will be a lot better with the colonial history. Any adjacent pixel islands, too!

Please move the Xinhai capital further inland, as shown above. I'm not entirely quite happy with the eastern extent of the nation, but I'll make due for now while I work on a national map. If I have any ideas for making it look less... disjointed.. I'll get back to you. Cheers!
