THE SUPREME COURT QUESTION
Events in Touzen shape opinions back home
HAAGA, Pohjanmaa — The last week has come as great shock to the people of this Commonwealth. The Anti-State in Touzen has not only declared the end of the All-Citizens Congress, but now Dictator Hayabusa has also ended the Supreme Court. These are all mechanisms of the delegationists and their effort to undermine the liberty of the people.

The idea is that the Anti-State may return to the ideals of the Founding Fathers, and also remove the barriers between Touzen, Seora, Jurchen, and the other places of the Anti-State. They are nothing more but geography now.

A question has now been raised in Haaga within the 732nd Eduskunta (Parliament) of Pohjanmaa. Is Pohjanmaa supposed to realize the message of its own founders and merge into the Anti-State?

The question has roused great debate within the Parliament because of the fact that other States still exist, and the Anti-State in itself is a place holder, much like the ideal setting of patience that Pohjanmaa exists in. The 732nd Parliament has signed a message of urgency to the President to establish contact with Touzen, the usual location of the greatest minds within the Anti-State to better understand how other Post Delegationist entities should respond to the events.

Prime Minister Patrik Kurri, who was elected for this month just hours ago has also sought to see if the Supreme Court of Pohjanmaa also ought to be abolished.

Debates within the Parliament was inconclusive, as speaker after speaker struggled to come to terms on if the Supreme Court needs to maintain its pure independence from the other decision makers of the Commonwealth, or if the Parliament should know when to cut off a growth when it becomes harmful to the people. Thus far this debate is expected to dominate the minds of the 732nd Parliament which opened this morning.

It is with humble respect, that I, who has been appointed to speak on behalf of the legions of colleagues gathered in our councils, may address our friends and colleagues in liberated Pohjanmaa regarding the recent steps undertaken by the anti-government pertaining to the reorganization of the Revolution in the East.

All post-delegationists are part of the post-statist entity that is the Anti-State. This much is evident. We are divided by thousands of kilometers, yet we are united in a common dream and passion; we are torch-bearers of the civilization to come, a shining light in the darkness of human rights violations, of terror, torture and tyranny. As such, we have already joined our hands in brotherly unison, reaching a higher synthesis of spirit and purpose, struggling against a world of ghouls day in, day out.

In contrast to the deeds of our detractors, the ongoing post-delegationist global revolution, the great work of the 21st Century, is not the work of those who would seek to dominate and incorporate.

I have mentioned that we are all part of the Anti-State. But I have always been championing a simple policy: The Anti-State of Many Paces. Human history, and as part of it, revolution, is a dialectical process that unfolds uniquely according to the material circumstances of the human societies and the individuals that constitute them. With the power vested in me by millions of colleagues, I have for these last few months actively pushed for advancing the Anti-State in the East towards a higher level of human organization and to remind ourselves of the vision that we dared to dream of when the founding fathers shed their precious blood in the establishment of liberties that we all too often take for granted.

But what is right at this moment in the dialectical process for Touzen, for the Jurchen Republic, for Boliatur, might not be what is right for Siyang, for Aresura, for Pohjanmaa. As Dictator of the East, I will never push for hasty steps of higher integration into the Anti-State of communities outside of the heartland of the revolution if it is not the resounding and undeniable will of the people in question.

The colleagues of Pohjanmaa have achieved much, and continue to achieve much every day. And I am confident that the day will come when by their own accord they will joyfully enter into the greater union, to become an even brighter star on the firmament of liberty. And when that day comes, I will be the first to embrace them with open arms.

Forever Free,

輝輝

Dictator Akira Hayabusa,

The Ulkoministeriö thanks you for your guideance and wisdom in the continuation of the development of the Anti-State. Our Commonwealth continues to learn and discover more about the progression of the Anti-State and how it may not only continue to progress but thrive. Whenever the greatest questions to the process occur, we can only hope that you continue to gift us with further guidance.

Our Parliament shall continue to the debate to see what is best for our progress in the pursuit of true freedom and liberty. An Anti-State of different paces shall provide a new perspective for the members of Parliament.

President Lepomäki sends her regards, and wishes for good health.

Ystävällisesti,

CHILLY KIDNAPPING
Cantignia child missing at northern border says Marklanti Osavaltion Poliisi
HIRVEN-SARVI YLITYS, Cantignia
— They blamed wolves first, but now it is a problem of criminality says the Marklanti State Troopers of Cantignia.

The person who is lost is not known otherwise as a child. They are lost by the border between Pohjanmaa and Cantignia. This is something that could cause an incident in the statist part of the world. Borders are an important issue for a nation state, those who study academics of nations say that to define a nation it must have a population, borders, and culture such as language.

Our commonwealth is not a nation which maintains a real border presence with Cantignia and Jyskerige-Østveg. Both borders are demilitizarized.

The defining feature of the border with Cantignia is how cold it is. The forth largest city in the Commonwealth exists some what close to Cantignia though. Viipuri is a major northern hub for Pohjanmaa that is originally a Sami trading post for reindeer that our former colonizers felt needed more investment, armies, and protection.

Viipuri is not a likely destination for a criminal though. It would be strange to stand out as an outsider there and be caught.

It is not known if the Marklanti State Troopers will pursue into Pohjanmaa. The snow is quite fresh, and tracks are covered quickly. Typically Pohjanmaa’s Army does not enforce the border very strictly, but there is a Police posting about 35km away from the border on the route to Viipuri from Hirven-Sarvi Ylitys (Elkhorn Crossing).

President Lepomäki has said that relations with Cantignia are not hostile, and that the Marklanti Osavaltion Poliisi (Marklandic State Troopers) can cross the border without incident so long as they do not stay longer than a few hours.

732ND PARLIAMENT AGREES TO KEEP COURTS
The stages of post-delegationism justify its continued existence
HAAGA, Pohjanmaa
— The year of 2018 is quickly coming to a close, and likewise the month of December is also ending. The 732nd Parliament which ends soon, has focused the majority of its time on the topic of Post-Delegationism, and where the existence of courts can be justified.

A question that originally came up with domestic developments within the Anti-State that removed their own Supreme Court. No strict answer was given by Dictator Hayabusa, but his philosophy further reinforced the notion that each Post-Delegationist society must move forward at a rate that is appropriate for the region and the people in question.

The Founders of the Commonwealth have always advocated for minimal state functions required to keep order while the nation waited for the Anti-State to spread to all nations and peoples. They founded what they believed to be the Nightwatchmen’s State. The 732nd Parliament deemed the continuation of the courts as integral to the Founders vision.

Meanwhile, this development has helped avoid a “constitutional crisis” of sorts, in which if the Parliament attempted to remove the courts, would such a motion be legal? Could it be enforced? Would the President approve? All these questions get to be avoided, and it could be theorized that the 732nd Parliament took this into consideration when deciding.

As the 732nd Parliament enters the last days of its session, the debate has moved forward towards the idea of propagating the seeds of Post-Delegationism across the globe. In this, they’ve advocated the expansion of the Foreign Service, in working with other “states” and “state-entities” in order to create a climate in which Post-Delegationism may spread.

It has been recommended that the Executive contact the parties of the conflict in Loago and attempt to assist the people there. It is not sure if any official document will come from the 732nd Parliament, as this idea of intervention clashes a bit with many ideal visions of the Commonwealth on its road to Anti-Statism. As the 732nd Parliament has suffered with many adjournments for holidays, and with the New Year’s Holiday coming soon, it might not be possible that a formal policy advisement will be released and approved by the 732nd Parliament.

733RD PARLIAMENT SWORN IN
The spread of post-delegationism preoccupies Pohjanmaa
HAAGA, Pohjanmaa
— The 733rd Parliament began this week, with Miikka Kakko having been appointed Prime Minister for the month. The question of the 733rd Parliament has been centered around how to increase the spread of Post-Delegationism in a world that is pre-occupied with Communism.

Kakko spoke to the Eduskunta with a sense of despair, “Over the past 75 years no style of government has been replicated around the world more than Communism. The Anti-State centered in Touzen has brought forward freedom to its neighborhood, but the spread of Post-Delegationism has not happened as we imagined. If we are unwilling to help the spread of Post-Delegationism, we may as well proclaim our transitional march to an Anti-State, as merely a façade to everlasting government.”

The Parliament in turn has agreed to creating the Volunteer Foundation for Freedom or VFF. The VFF is to be headed by the President, but has no funding or staff. The VFF is to begin recruiting university students and eager volunteers who wish to go abroad and spread the message of freedom. To support this venture, the VFF is now able to take donations which will begin to send their first volunteers abroad as soon as a budget materializes.

Volunteers need not wait long. Donations have steadily come in allowing for planning and training for how the entire program will work to begin immediately.

While the 732nd Parliament focused on the courts, and left off on questions of the spread of Post-Delegationism, Prime Minister Kakko has oriented the public willpower towards the external transition to the spread of the Anti-State. The only question is how long this spirit will last, and if the VFF is something that can be substantial.

CNS Kuma docked in Vienanjoki
[/DIV]
SANOMAT 1961 - ZEITGEIST:

CODENAME: “PÖLLÖT”
Welcome to Vienanjoki Continental Naval Base, where east meets west
VIENANJOKI, Pohjanmaa
— In this Sanomat 1961 - ZEITGEIST piece we examine the Vienanjoki Continental Naval Base. Vienanjoki is a city located on the far edges of the Gothic Sea on the largest island within the domain of the Commonwealth and its inhabitants. It is special for being known as the only site of St. Elmo’s League within modern Pohjanmaa, and the furthest northern port city of this league as well. Falling into obscurity for hundreds of years, the site has still been a well known port that has opened up in importance as icebreakers are now commonplace. Today the port city is known as the formal base of the Anti-State based Continental Navy.

The history of the base can be traced back to the Libertarian War which occurred against National-Syndicalist Caledonia from 1982 to 1984. In 1982 in a surprise to the leadership in Haaga, the Caledonians launched in an invasion of what they deemed a gross-misgiving in the Gothic Sea region. Resenting the values of the Anti-State and the values of post-delegationism, the attack was aimed to remove the threat to National-Syndicalism.

Prior to the war relations between Pohjanmaa and Touzen were very warm, but no joint military agreements or promises were ever exchanged due to the nature of post-delegationist doctrine.

While the Libertarian War was eventually won due to the ability of the Pohjanmaan Army to hold up against the sieges of Haaga and Viipuri, and find a way to begin a counterattack, the threat of the military forces in the modern day Anti-State beginning to mobilize and join the war in support of Pohjanmaa forced a status quo peace. The war in general highlighted a clear deficiency in the relationship between the Anti-State and Pohjanmaa. While Pohjanmaa maintains a standing military, the Anti-State is divided among the various former national armies, navies, warlords, and other elements of freedom. There is no immediate cohesion or organized policy. The result was an inability to react quickly to the Pohjanmaan Libertarian War.

Solving this problem was something of paramount importance to both the Anti-State and Pohjanmaa. The result of a year of discussions was an agreement to exploit the realities of the establishment of Pohjanmaa, as the Commonwealth could lease territory as it still maintained what is defined as the “night watchman’s state.” The result was the Continental Navy leasing Vienanjoki Naval Base, which has been affectionately codenamed, “Pöllöt.” Other armed services of the Anti-State have also been stationed there from time to time including the Army of the Revolution and General Command Armed Forces East.

Life on the base is interesting due to the mix of units and the infusion of culture from the Anti-State. Famous on the base are “maki” or sushi rolls. Most infamous being the “kappa maki” or cucumber roll, which has been dubbed the “Freedom Roll.” Freedom Rolls themselves are now popular and found on university campuses around Pohjanmaa as a mid-day snack.

Pöllöt began as a simply group of barns and docks that once belonged to fishermen. Owls inhabited the barns and kept soldiers awake through the cold nights. While most would condemn this frozen town, there is overlap in Pohjanmaan and Touzenese culture. Sauna culture while different in Pohjanmaa is enjoyed by the Touzenese residents on the base. There is a familiarity and acceptance of the Touzenese people as the second President of the Commonwealth was none other than Hideki Yamaguchi who was from Touzen.

The base would eventually grow far larger than a group of barns and docks, and looks like a major airport and naval base; despite, the picture shown for this article showing a photograph oriented away from the business based on the decision of the newspaper to aid security of the base.

While the culture of Pöllöt is usually harmonious, occasionally, cultural differences do occur. Pohjanmaan culture is certainly more direct when they do speak, and this can cause confrontation in bars, especially after drunken karaoke.

Cultural exchange is an important part of this venture, just as much as military partnership in the defense of free peoples against statists. When cultures collide, the freedom of others can be taken when they are afraid of what is foreign. Pohjanmaa and the entities of the Anti-State stand together at Vienanjoki.

734th Prime Minister Maija Lepistö and her revolver earrings during an interview
[/DIV]
734TH PARLIAMENT SWORN IN
Eduskunta looks to discuss improvements in international dialogue
HAAGA, Pohjanmaa
— The 734th Parliament began this week, with Maija Lepistö having been elected as the Prime Minister for this session. While the 733rd Parliament did most of its work early and found itself often in random discussions, the 734th seems to have found its own mission. As the Pohjanmaan system creates a new Parliament every month, most Parliaments set about on a goal and once that is achieved they tend to be quite pleased with their work and rest. Change for the sake of sake change is something that Pohjanmaans frown upon.

Prime Minister Lepistö addressed the chamber speaking intensely about the need to be able to interact with the world. Debate centered on two subjects:

• If involvement in the World Permanent Conference is compatible with post-delegationism
• How to prevent foreign kidnappers and deviants from abusing the open borders

Lepistö herself has kicked off a discussion that was likely purposely ignored by prior Parliaments. Her belief is that the World Permanent Conference is not compatible with post-delegationism, but that post-delegationism could not be advanced without discussion and distribution of the belief.

“A hermit republic does not endear itself to the hearts and souls of mankind. What does not endear itself to the hearts and souls of mankind will never come to pass and live to stand the tests of time,” declared Lepistö. “Post-delegationism is feared. They believe it will end their countries, end their worlds, and the values, hopes, and dreams they have. I know we are free, truly free... and I know this to be true, post-delegationism needs a friendly face.”

Lepistö of course is not a regular Prime Minister who joined and felt the desire to take on a duty for the community, for the commonwealth. She is straight from university, and feeling empowered after completing her naval career as a lieutenant in the Commonwealth Navy. Her experiences, education, and youth have given her a tenacity to tackle an issue that has even been in focus since the 732nd Parliament.

The Lepomäki Presidency has kept quiet on the issues of Parliament thus far. Historically, Presidencies will weigh in on issues they feel violate the spirit of the founders. Presidencies thus far also control most matters of foreign affairs. Generally, that has meant keeping a low key except in matters of national emergency. Typically, the Commonwealth has mirrored the policies of Touzen and the Anti-State but the Anti-State has never demanded any particular policy from the Commonwealth. The fraternity between the people of Pohjanmaa and the Anti-State has been maintained mainly through goodwill, trade, and ideals of liberty. It is not maintained through policy harmony.

Where the discussions of the 734th Parliament will go is unknown, but wherever they do there should be no consequences. Only the will of a free and independent people.

Pohjanmaan National Police in summertime
[/DIV]
NO MORE FOREIGN KIDNAPPINGS!
734th Eduskunta to end open border policy
HAAGA, Pohjanmaa
— The 734th Parliament opened this morning with Prime Minister Maija Lepistö proudly announcing, “No more foreign kidnappings!” It was a direct reference to the kidnapping event and suspect from the West Engellexic Republic which was rumored to cross the border into Pohjanmaa and was never found. This rumor led to conjecture that the suspect likely got away through Pohjanmaa to a foreign port, or still remains in Pohjanmaa.

Prime Minister Lepistö addressed the Eduskunta speaking about the other benefits the end of the direct open border policy brought, namely bringing it into line with the policies in the Anti-State, specifically Touzen. This will help keep the single free market maintained within Post-Delegationist states from harm and illicts goods. An issue which was likely capitalized on by deviants from statist or delegationist societies. Cheap slave labor from statists can ruin the single market’s ability to maintain fair prices for ones labor.

Lepistö smiled and hoped that the decision to implement border control would both be a help to the Engellexic Republic to the West, and maintain solidarity and continued advancement to the Anti-State.

Her plan calls for the National Police to set up the Customs service and work with the military in securing the border. While border fencing won’t be created, the goal is to have more regular patrols, and legal crossing areas. Illegal crossings obviously facing punishment according to the legal code of Pohjanmaa, notable for being vague and not often used in the past. It is thought that it may seek to mirror Touzen’s means for policing and securing borders. The obvious difference here will be the hope to prevent Engellexic criminals from abusing the border, although it is possible that due to the sheer size of the border, it will prove difficult to police anyhow.

The victory is short for Lepistö as Parliament must now continue to debate the World Permanent Conference which has been a far more difficult topic for her to get Parliament to see eye-to-eye with.

If Pohjanmaa insists on militarizing the border it shares with our proud state, then we to will take measures to ensure border integrity on our side of the border. Furthermore the issue of exiled criminals, who too often escape west, which Pohjanmaa’s dangerous ideology has no answer for can no longer be a problem for this Republic to solve.

We are open to state to state dialogue with our remaining partners in Pohjanmaa, but if it is the sitting Prime Minister’s intent to reign in an escalating armed state of anarcho-tyranny in the north: no sane sovereign nation would allow such chaos and disorder on its periphery forever.

The integrity of the border of the liberated zone is essential for the continued realization of its main goal: To shield free labor from predatory economic practice. Since its inception, hundreds of millions of people across the world have, for the first time in human history, been liberated to trade and offer their labor as they see fit in a genuinely new context, freed from the shackles of corporate and statist overlords making the working masses toil in abysmal conditions while pocketing the profits.

It is evident that a garment woven in a slave sweatshop in the Human Commodity System will always be sold cheaper than an equivalent product produced by free labor in Boliatur; it is then natural and imperative to protect free labor from being forced once more into conditions of bondage through the maintenance of said liberated zone until the day the entire planet is free and, with it, labor. Where the mercantilists of prior ages defended their national fiefdoms of exploitation, the post-delegationists of the future have established a truly unique answer to the challenges of the political-industrial complex gripping much of the planet. Free trade is the privilege of free peoples.

Naturally then, the colleagues in Pohjanmaa have our full support in this matter, as does every step bringing them closer to full destating. It is natural too that we are keenly watching those that would prey upon their neighbors or upset tranquility: The Far North is shielded by our commitment to our friends, and the citizenry of the Anti-State will not abandon its commitments even in the face of those that might be foolish enough to attempt to reverse the anti-statist processes there.

President Lepomäki speaks on the recent troubles of the 734th Eduskunta
[/DIV]
PRESIDENT ADDRESSES TROUBLES
Clarification on the border, WPC, and abortion
HAAGA, Pohjanmaa
— The 734th Parliament has run into a fair share of troubles with a variety of actors near and far commenting on the issues that it has addressed. These troubles have called for the normally hands off President Lepomäki to address the inhabitants with answers on how the Commonwealth will proceed.

Her first order of business was the question of border security. The topic was something she agreed with the 734th Parliament, and Prime Minister Lepistö. “I first called Shigeru Kato to thank him for his continued support of our free society. I echo his sentiments, and will not answer to the statist forces to the northwest. They know that we clearly have not violated what they consider their border space, but it is our right to keep their slave labor of the Human Commodity System and the goods that stem from it out of the proper free market.”

Second, she addressed the news of abortion and its legality. The topic had come up in circles in the Anti-State and it was a curiosity as to if Pohjanmaa would follow any policy made there. “No. Absolutely not,” she answered to the television audience. “We are firm believers of freedom, and the government which governs least. That means we will not be creating any laws against abortion in this Commonwealth.”

It would be President Lepomäki’s last words that would justify Prime Minister Lepistö’s work over the last sixteen days. “Our inhabitants will have representation in the World Permanent Conference. It will not be a tool of a government, it will be a representation of the Commonwealth. I was moved by the impression of which Prime Minister Lepistö felt could be achieved for the post-delegationist cause on the world stage, but furthermore moved by the words spoken recently at the World Permanent Conference. We will not abide to world aims for furthering delegation. Natalian speaker Sebastian Darrien in his Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing speech highlighted why I felt it was now okay to select an envoy for our inhabitants. He said, ‘the role of the WPC is the give
a voice and through nations, to give peoples all over the globe a voice, for it is the people, not the nation that sweat, bleed and live.’ He continued with a very important aspect that needed to be highlighted. ‘The nation is just a dead pile of bureaucratic institutions without form and without substance.’ I believe the spirit of this organization is in the right place, for the people, and by the people. We will never allow the passage of world government.”

The President ended her speech speaking on talking points involving the state of affairs in the military, and her intention to expand the submarine fleet as Pohjanmaa’s main defensive naval asset.

Afterwards, Prime Minsiter Lepistö stated her satisfaction with the decision of the President and that she would finalize the Parliament’s support by the end of this week. Rumors suggest that Lepistö may be asked to represent the Commonwealth at the WPC, but Lepistö shrugged. “It is not my ambition to reside in a nation founded on imperial ambition and slavery. I would much rather continue my volunteer work in Pohjanmaa.”

The FNS Viipuri at sea shortly after being launched in 1996
[/DIV]
BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE RETALIA
Chaos in the Retalian Sea as the Free Navy of Pohjanmaa attempts to save civilians
RETALIAN SEA
— Disaster in the Retalian Sea has been witnessed by the crew of the FNS Viipuri, a Pohjanmaan submarine which was on a regular sortie in the Retalian Sea area. Described via a press release from the Free Navy, a shipping vessel known as the Hyacinthe registered to Serenierre was struck by an unknown submarine earlier this morning. Complicating matters is the manner in which this disaster was managed.

The Hyacinthe was subsequently struck thereafter its collision with the unknown submarine by Eiffelloretalian depth charges that presumably were directed for the submarine. Since the submarine was lodged into the Hyacinthe, these depth charges must have also impacted the Hyacinthe. The what thereafter happened to the submarine is that it is expected to have sunk, but likewise, the crew of the Hyacinthe that were not killed by the irresponsible use of the depth charges found themselves on a rapidly sinking ship.

Why depth charges were utilized in direct proximity of a civilian vessel is unknown, but the Free Navy declared their usage as abhorrent and contrary to the spirit of human rights. The Commonwealth of Pohjanmaa has summoned the Eiffelloretalian Ambassador in response. All of this happening in the middle of a meeting in the Grand Duchy Lars on the very subject of the internationalization of the Retalian Sea.

As of this report, the Hyacinthe is still afloat, but may not have but more than an hour at most.

The Free Navy would not suggest why so much drama was surrounding the Hyacinthe, but complicating matters further were a group of four vessels that were also on a collision course with her. The Eiffelloretalian Navy also fired upon these vessels without any evidence of malicious intent from these small civilian vessels. These civilians were armed though, and did return fire on the Eiffelloretalian forces; however, these small vessels were attacked with deadly force as a missile has been reported as fired as the speedboats attempted to flee the wreckage of the Hyacinthe.

Rumors have suggested that the people aboard the speed boats might have allegiance to the Anti-State, and this may spell additional trouble for the Eiffelloretalian Navy if true.

Currently the FNS Viipuri and her crew are working to collect survivors in the area before they might drown. President Lepömaki has stated that Pohjanmaa, “seeks no ill-will to either Eiffelland-Retalia or the nations surrounding the Retalian Sea. The humanitarian work of the FNS Viipuri, is merely part of the mission statement of a Naval Officer or Sailor in the employ of the defence of the Commonwealth and the post-delegationist society and dream.”

The President has also insisted that the individuals responsible for the irresponsible depth charging of the Hyacinthe be brought before the international community for their crimes against humanity and punished. “Shooting live fire at civilians is a gross abuse of power by the Eiffelloretalian Navy, and their practices must be reformed before innocent people are killed. This is why statists cannot be trusted, they punish the innocent without fair trial by penalty of death.”

The Republique Seraziniste is most grateful for the assistance of the FNS Viipuri at this time of great concern for Villesen. We furthermore condemn the dangerous and irresponsible conduct of the Eiffelloretalian regime, if the news reports can be believed. The damage to international trade and to the reputation of Eiffelland is self evident and we are most concerned about the fate of the Retalian Sea at the hands of the hegemony of Trier.

We mourn for the loss of life. We hope the mighty Serenien nation is delivered justice and the perpetrators are brought to justice. The downfall of imperialist forces across the Retalian must continue to ensure peace.

The Honorable Maija Lepistö
Prime Minister
Haaga, Pohjanmaa
The Commonwealth of Pohjanmaa

Dear Prime Minister Lepistö

While the Aurarine Republic applauds the Free Navy for its efforts to provide rescue to the survivors and determine what caused this tragedy, we would be remiss if not to question why the Commonwealth of Pohjanmaa had a military vessel in the area in the first place.

It cannot be understated by the Republic that this submarine, which has been described as being under regular sortie, was operating in the defensive interests of the Commonwealth. Acknowledging the sheer volatility of the situation in the Retalian Sea, the presence of Commonwealth military assets - even further described as a regular occurrence - is cause for significant concern.

The Aurarine Republic henceforth calls on the Pohjanmaan Ambassador to come to Marisela Palace promptly to explain its military operations in the Retalian and Long Seas generally before the Aurarine Government. It is the belief of the Republic that no such compelling argument can be made that these operations need continue and it is therefore the stance of the Republic that Pohjanmaa must immediately cease all military operations in the Retalian Sea in order to preserve peace in the region.

We look forward to a favorable reply.

MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
SOLIS AURARIAN REPUBLIC

MR. FERREIRO,

I THANK YOU FOR YOUR MESSAGE AND YOUR PRAISE FOR THE HUMANITARIAN ACTION OF THE FREE NAVY. THEY OPERATED ADMIRABLY WITHIN THE EXPECTATIONS AND DEMANDS OF OFFICERS OF THE COMMONWEALTH. AS A FORMER OFFICER OF THE FREE NAVY MYSELF, I AM PLEASED TO SEE THEM IN ACTION AND RECIEVING HIGH PRAISE.

MY WORK AS AN OFFICER INFORMS ME OF THE REGULAR SORTIES THAT OCCUR AROUND EUROPE BY EXPERIENCE. AS EXPECTED OF OUR SAILORS, WE TEST THE LIMITATIONS OF OUR VESSELS AND THEIR CREW ACROSS THE GLOBE. THIS INCLUDES THE BARBARESK(I) SEA REGION (LONG SEA).

AS IT IS NOT THE PURVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF MY OFFICE, I CANNOT INFORM YOU AS TO THE REASONING OF THIS PARTICULAR SORTIE. I TRUST THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY TO HAVE GOOD MOTIVATION FOR THE EXECUTION OF OUR MILITARY READINESS. STATIST NATIONS SUCH AS AURARIA (BUT NOT LIMITED TO AURARIA) CONTINUE POLICIES OF HOSTILITY TO POST-DELEGATIONISTS ACROSS EUROPE AND UNTIL SUCH HOSTILITY CEASES, THE POLICIES DICTATING THE MISSIONS OF THE FREE NAVY WILL CONTINUE.

IN PRESENT TIME NO OUTSTANDING CONFLICT EXISTS BETWEEN AURARIA AND POHJANMAA. IT IS MY HOPE THIS CONTINUES.

HOWEVER, THE COMMONWEALTH, STATELESS, AND THOSE ALIGNED TO THE GOALS OF THE ANTI-STATE WILL CONTINUE TO EXERCISE THEIR FREEDOM ON THE HIGH SEAS AND WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE IN AND OUT OF THE BARBARESKI SEA, RETALIAN SEA, AND OTHERS WITHIN THE BOUNDS OF INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTED COASTAL LIMITATIONS. OBSERVING THE NEWS OF AURARIA, HINDERANCE TO POHJANMAAN VESSELS TRAVELING TO AND FROM THE BARBARESKI SEA WILL BE THE CAUSE OF INCIDENT.

YSTÄVÄLLISESTI,
KAIJA LEPISTÖ

OUR SILENT SPRING IN PISPALA
A chemical explosion causes an environmental catastrophe
PISPALA, Pohjanmaa
— Several days ago an explosion at the Sakari Ilmanen Chemical Factory caused quite a commotion. Fingers had been pointed at the administration in Haaga on Twatter, but there is no disaster response unit in a limited state such as the Commonwealth. The factory explosion occurred early in the morning before everyone had arrived at work. The community fire brigade did not have the ability to put out the fire, as the scale of the explosion was far too large. Only today did the fires finally burn themselves out after endless work from several local communities. Families mourn what looks to be an unsurvivalable disaster.

The impact of the Sakari Ilmanen Chemical Factory on the local community was quite profound as it employed about 500 people. It’s the aftermath of the factory that will continue to be profound for community afterwards. Poisonous chemicals have been tossed about the countryside and fuel leaks have led many to question what exactly was happening at the factory. Oil appears to have been used in large quantities at the factory and what has not burned away has spilled into the local river. Additionally dyes and other chemicals have burned up or spilled into the nearby river. Fish have been found dead up and down the river.

How can Post-Delegationism prevent this from happening again? The lack of standardized safety standards as found in statist nations is a profound problem for a crisis like this. Furthermore, now presented with an environmental disaster, there are no mechanisms for fixing the problem. Several volunteers have tried to work on the disaster but have since been hospitalized for poisoning and chemical burns.

The 735th Parliament which came into power at the beginning of the month has elected a much less charismatic individual in Teepo Halonen, in comparison to the previous Prime Minister Maija Lepistö. Halonen has stated that the disaster is not the concern of the Government. “The people near Pispala should not delegate their problems to another.” The trouble is that the environment does not merely impact Pispala. The river flows east and will impact communities all the way until it reaches the Gothic Sea.

A tragedy of the commons is is a term used in environmental sciences to describe a situation in a shared-resource system where individual users acting independently according to their own self-interest behave contrary to the common good of all users by depleting or spoiling that resource through their collective action. This has now occurred in the Pispala River. How does a doctrine for freedom of the individual, and a refusal to delegate their power to another fix this mess? In statist countries, a disaster such as this would not happen. Environmental concerns take high priority to the south in the Two Kingdoms, or even as far away as Natal. The narrative of the hashtag on Twatter #WhoresInHaaga has taken a firm grip upon the people down river. Livestock will have no access to fresh water, and many harvests will have to be cancelled as the water won’t be safe to irrigate. This will be a boon for foodstuff importers in Pohjanmaa, but may spell disaster for local self-sufficiency.

“If I can’t plant this year, I don’t know how I’ll be able to afford to operate next year,” stated a rye farmer which wished to remain anonymous. “Nearby a cattleman will have to slaughter his entire herd. He cannot afford to import the water to keep them alive.”

A protest in Haaga has been arranged for next week and is expected to have easily over 5000 attendees. Protests of such a magnitude are unheard of in Pohjanmaa, where people are expected, and expect each other to pull themselves together and fix their own problems with simple Pohjanmaan ingenuity and hard work. Meanwhile the Eduskunta won’t address the issue, being labeled a do-nothing group as this Parliament holds firm on no delegationism.

To the People of Pispala, Pohjahmaa, and the Commonwealth of Pohjahmaa in general

As of this moment, my executive office has prepared an aid package from part of the remainders created from the charitable donations of the pay-per-view combat with my cousin. This package includes salary for workers and equipment to help clean and purify the watershed around Pispala, as well as offer of small business loans and larger loans to the people of Pispala at all to help rebuild a new chemical factory or some other, less dangerous industrial backbone for the city. We are willing to include training from our local fire brigade, and a donation of some equipment to the Pispala Fire brigade to deal with the issue in the future.

While we cannot but feel saddened by the suffering caused to the people living in Pohjanmaa and the general destruction of the environment brought upon the region by the accident at the Sakari Ilmanen Chemical Factory, we feel that so much could have been avoided if the anarchist politicians of Post-Delegationism would have seen what the complete disappearance of state institutions will only bring chaos.

Now, when the revolutionary fervor and openness towards voluntarysm and , the real human nature reappears and the reality starts to hit the PDist populists. In their quest to achieve complete de-statalisation out of fear of the coercive powers of the state, the PDists have completely destroyed the social protection web a state would normally offer.

Even more so, we see how incompetent and cynical are the arch-populists of the Pohjanmaa parliament as they are simply telling the locals to deal with it, and not only that they scold them by calling their calls for help as being just away of delegating their problems.

It is clear by now, that behind the continuous calls for complete freedom and liberty, which in the end are nothing more than void slogans, all the Post-Delegationist polities, self-described as "Anti-States" are nothing more than failed or fragile states which don't have the means nor the power to provide for their citizens.

We thus ask the Eduskunta and the Dictator of Touzen and other Presidents of the oriental Anti-State to first provide at least limited protection and social stimulus for their citizens and only afterwards to try to export their revolution by sanctioning what they call tyrants, which in reality are statist politicians, or send their fleets to patrol faraway seas such as the Long and Hamar Seas. Rather than a fleet of submarines or frigates, maybe a fleet of firefighting helicopters would have been a much better investment.
