While the tastes of Clarenthia might not be great for the waistline, it's good for the soul. The Triple C is prepared to assist in the necessary negotiations to place the following Clarenthian products on Heidi's shelves:

We are happy to grant permission to the discount supermarket chain Heidi to operate in Eiffelland-Retalia.

We would also like to point your attention to a couple of Eiffelloretalian products that could be marketed by Heidi.

First of all of course Eiffelloretalian beer (both pilsner and weizen): Becker's, Waltins, Schalteis and Azzira.

Furthermore, we produce gin (Hochholz), vermouth (Martano and Campora), brandy (Buchser Korn) and bitters (Jägerwald).

I would also like to point your attention at Aachener Printen. These gingerbread cookies originate from the middle ages, when the Aachener baked them for the pilgrims attending the city while traveling to or from Tibur. Now they are a typical product from the city of Aachen, and that is a serious matter there. The original Printe is a very hard cookie of about 8 cm long, 2 cm wide and 0.5 high. Please see:

Aachener Printen are also made as soft cookies with chocolate around them, called Weichprinten. The chocolate covers the Printe completely, and prevents it from becoming hard. Please see:

Another variant on the Aachener Printe is the Weichprinte covered with chocolate and parts of almonds. Please see:

Retalia is famous for its chocolate bonbons. Brands are Schwalbenpick, Ferrocieri and Lender. Please see:

We recommend putting only the Weichprinten on the shelves, because the normal Printen are too hard to bite into if you don't make them weak beforehand.

HEIDI Product Acquisitions

HEIDI will be considering all proposed products with consideration of our ability to recreate the recipe and distribute it generically and with quality, contract availability to private label foreign brands to save the end customer, and finally logistics consideration to reply a quickly expanding store network.

I need to apologize. We did not realise that it was HEIDI's intention to recreate the products and take the production into its own hand. This leads to some issues. However, we understand the reasoning behind HEIDI's decision to manufacture the products instead of having others produced them for HEIDI. Therefore, we want to offer a solution.

We propose the following:
  1. The Eiffelloretalian beer brewers are willing to give you a licence to brew Eiffelloretalian pilsner and weizen beer according to recipes provided by them.
  2. The Eiffelloretalian companies making gins, vermouths, brandies and bitters are willing to give you licences to make Eiffelloretalian gins, vermouths, brandies and bitters according to recipes provided by them.
  3. The Retalian chocolatiers are willing to give you a licence to manufacture Retalian bonbons according to recipes provided by them.

Our plan is to grant those licenses against a reasonable one-time lump sum. The recipes we will provide will lead to products of good quality against low costs.

The companies behind the brands Becker's, Waltins, Schalteis, Azzira, Hochholz, Martano, Campora, Buchser Korn, Jägerwald, Schwalbenpick, Ferrocieri and Lender do not want to licence the manufacturing of those products out, because they want to keep the quality control of those products in their own hands, and are of the opinion that that is only possible in their own factories.

The Aachener Printe is a registered product in Eiffelland-Retalia; its recipe is fixed by Eiffelloretalian law: The so-called Printengesetz, i.e. the law that specifies the recipe of the Aachener Printe. In Eiffelland-Retalia, you are only allowed to call your Printen Aachener Printen when they were manufactured according to the Printengesetz. The Aacheners are very sensitive about the recipe and the quality of the Aachener Printe; please respect that and produce the Aachener Printe according to the so-called Printengesetz. We will provide an Engellish translation of the Printengesetz to you. Please contact us if the Printengesetz is in conflict with the legislations applicable in the countries where you want to produce the Aachener Printen for your supermarkets.

Dr. Habil. Ariel Rubinstein, Minister of Economic Affairs

OOC: My companies are not really happy about the idea that you want to copy their products, but they are willing to cooperate with you by providing recipes that will lead to products that are of good quality, can be produced against low costs, and differ slightly from the original. Well, OK, not in the case of the Aachener Printe—the law is the law, especially the Printengesetz, so you get the recipe of the original.

HEIDI Product Acquisitions

This company wishes to clarify three terms:

Brand Label: On a limited regional basis brand items produced by external sources are purchased to compete with other local supermarkets and fulfill customer needs.

Private Label: in the practice of private labeling, or purchasing beverages or foodstuff with alternative/generic brand labeling despite these items being originally produced at a separate brand factory outside the HEIDI business infrastructure. This practice avails the customer a significantly lower purchase price, while also offering more business to producers.

Store Brand: a product that we will produce, label, and distribute within the HEIDI business infrastructure.

We hope to negotiate these contracts fairly with both the producer and end customer in mind. As we assess our international strategy we will reach out to local national brand ambassadors to attain contracts.

We would like to negotiate With HEIDI Product Acquisitions about marketing the brands Becker's, Waltins, Schalteis, Azzira, Hochholz, Martano, Campora, Buchser Korn, Jägerwald, Schwalbenpick, Ferrocieri and Lender in Heidi Supermarkets as brand labels. The companies producing these products would also like to negotiate to market products as private labels.

Furthermore, the company Winkelsdorf A.G. would like to negotiate to market showering gels, shampoos, bathgels, other kinds of soaps, creams, balms, ointments, plasters, bandages, soaps for washing machines and dish washers, soaps for manual dish washing, other kinds of soaps and disinfecting substances (like iodine, denaturised alcohol (70% ethanol and a bit of methanol to make it undrinkable) and alcohol-chlorohexidine) as brand labels and private labels.

The high quality of the agricultural produce of the states of the World Republic is well known. We hope we can interest the HEIDI company in the import of following surplus products:

Corn (fresh and/or canned) from Arvum
Wheat-flour from Arvum
Pre-packaged white bread from Arvum
Fresh beef products from Arvum
Pasteurized extended-shelf-life milk from Arvum

Implarian thuna from Concordia
Almonds from Concordia
Oranges (fresh and/or juice) from Concordia

Wild Implarian salmon from Collisia

Nonestican shrimp from Kent

Frozen, pre-packed hot dogs
Big red (brand) ketchup
Implarian cheese*

*may or may not be subject to legal restrictions forbidding it from being called cheese depending on the country it is sold in. Implarian cheese is a cheese-flavored substitute product made from byproducts of more traditional cheese production
