As stated before I *might* also consider having a California-esque deal on that coast, that northern part or so.

Nation: Pohjanmaa (EDIT: We decided Suomenmaa was too RL and returned to the classic)
Capital: Göötehamina (Gothenhamn)
Government Seat: Ullanlinna (Ulrikasborg)
Other major cities: Töölö, Viipuri, Pispala, Helsinginpori

• The map and borders of the nation are in “blue” or “teal”
• All cities are “small” cities.
The red dots are the capital cities. There are two capitals... like the Netherlands.
• It’s a bit messy, but the small coastal opening on the Engelsea is for Drei’s Nedernesia’s land holding.

Feel free to ask questions if something is unclear.

After confirming with Coro that Fjalladrottning will be dropped, I'd like the northern island added to Clarenthia. That southwestern island will remain free and anarchist.

A couple of requests:

1. Please rename the "Pelasgian Empire" to "Federative Republic of Pelasgia" on the map. No other changes to the map of Pelasgia are needed.

2. I've RPed the PSHC long enough as a concept that I feel it deserves its space on the map (in an otherwise empty and inactive corner of Himyar). This little project is genuinely of my favourite RPs so far, primarily because of the creative freedom creating a colony from scratch gives me, and it has acted as an antidote to changeritis. Here's what I've come up with so far, based on my RP:

Location : (see map)
Name of Colony : Pelasgian Southern Himyari Company
Name of Colonial Capital : Fort Antipas (all settlements, including the capital, are well below 2.5 M inhabitants)
Name of Primary Country : Federative Republic of Pelasgia (formerly Pelasgian Empire)
Established History : Pelasgian whalers, sailors and explorers having been making their way to the southern tips of the sea of Buto for millennia. However, the lucrative whaling business, combined with increased trade with Natalia and the realtive safety of the Sea of Buto to the Long Sea-Hamar Sea corridor in recent centuries have made the region a prime target for Pelasgian investment and mercantile interest. The discovery of fossil fuel reserves and unique species of marine life has only boosted interest in the region in recent years, with many companies such the Imperial Himyari Trade Company (Southern), Thaumatic Whaling A.E., Pelasgian Institute for Oceanic Life Research, Outopolis Trade Company and the Imperial Himyari Bank of Commerce actively operating in the area. In 2019, the Pelasgian Southern Himyari Company was chartered as an Imperial (later Federal) Pelasgian company, to unify Pelasgian trade, whaling, resource extraction, research and settlement efforts in the area. Beginning with a few outposts to facilitate the whale trade and the processing of whaling products, the PSHC has gradually grown its settlement efforts, responding to wide appeal by the Pelasgian public. Many Pelasgians desire a new future there, finding few chances in the increasingly overcrowded homeland, and have decided to risk everything and start life anew in the largely lawless Far South. The PSHC, governed by powerful Pelasgian nobles, shipping magnates and businessmen in Propontis, has established a quasi-state in the area, though truth be told, its actual control is limited to major shipping lanes and small settlements of its own making. Everywhere else, lawlessness reigns, outside of the customary law of local settler communities and various indegenous peoples that the Company has sought to court with promises of modern technology (both to heal and intoxicate, as well as arm them against one another). The Far South is a brand new frontier of settlement, unlike the centuries-old colonies of the Engells or Pelasgia's own former Tephanon colony; whether the Far South will become a frontier of freedom for Pelasgia's independent-minded pioneers or just another territory of Pelasgian governmental overreach remains to be seen.

I have further posts fleshing out the colony, relations with natives and dynamics with the mainland (as well as between the PSHC and colonists) planned for the future, provided I can get this off the ground.

Feel free to limit the pixels I have, I just want something on the map in that general area so I don't feel like I'm RPing in thin air and that all my efforts will be in vain if someone claims that general area. Also, those areas are by no means actually controlld by the PSHC de facto. PSHC control is limited to the major sea lanes and settlements on the isles; the rest is de jure claimed land, which is largely lawless outside of indigenous control and control by farmers and individual settlers. RPing how the PSHC will attempt to get actual control over this territory and how it currently operates as a "wild west" is also among my plans for this project (get ready for Corp PMCs vs farmers vs natives vs Pelasgian fed agents wars).

All feedback is welcome.

Yeah, I thought about it as meaning north in the southern hemisphere. Rather than Nadarma as an Anglification of Ndarma, I would go either with Indarma, Indala, Darman or something else. I am open to suggestions. I don't know what to say Southern Cross wise, I know that its a stellar formation (I forgot the right term at the moment), but I think Engells would avoid using cross terminology.

The Anglicisations I came up with are based on what I saw in the names of Shona settlements in Zimbabwe during the colonial rule and how they were Anglicised.
I would go for Indala.

I’d just like to note that the sea south of Natal has been agreed to be called the Indala Sea. Perhaps that ought to be mapped, and since @Natal is a little AFK/AWOL I’d make that application for him.

Can you please delete Virumaa (my apologies to Gunn and Elben for not really being a part of the CoN and the Empire) and instead of that, can you put Nitra on the map on this spot:

The capital will be Bystrica (red dot), other cities, all under a million are Stará Turá (blue dot), Rajec (green dot) and Modra (yellow dot). If you don't have enough space for all of them, it's ok.

There’s no need to delete Loago. Quite a bit of very decent effort has been invested there. If need be, perhaps, an alternative colonial history could be worked out to replace Caledonia/Virumaa? You often indulged in a back-and-forth with Caledonia and Virumaa over colonial history, establishing a third origin with a player might assist in anchoring your history there. Just a thought.

@Touzen

Green, Anti-State; pink, Yujin.

The simplest form of what I had in mind. Reduce Touyou to yourself, Yujin, possible NPC/s that support your's and region's set-up/history, and sink the rest.

Had started to work on my own map of the area a while back but this week and weekend will be busy, so probably will miss this map update.
