[CONFIDENTIAL]

Esteemed sirs and madames,

the Socialist World Republic has observed the industrial policies of the Polesian state for a while now and can well understand your government has a vested interest in defending itself from such underhanded means of economic warfare. That by means of the Polesian puppet regime the Kadikistanis have acquired technology invented in Eiffelland and are now gaining an economic edge through this is indeed worrying.

Equally worrying, however, is the apparent delay this dispute has caused in formulating a strong and united response by the Gallo-Germanian nations regarding the Domain invasion in Burgundy. The Socialist World Republic fears the day that the Cussians and their lesser partners can do freely and unopposed as they wish, as we know better than most that they will not ever be content with what conquests they make and that each war will be followed only by the next one.

The Socialist World Republic, unfortunately, does not possess the diplomatic clout to solve Eiffellands troubles regarding Polesia, the Kadikistanis and Folxmashin. Following the conquest of Trivodnia, our nation has refused the recognize the Polesian entity as legitimate government of the Trivodnian peoples and this stance remains.

This, however, opens up other avenues for cooperation we feel ready to explore. Thus, the Socialist World Republic proposes a quid pro quo in regards to the Polesian economic attacks and the more physical attacks of the Domain. Eine Hand wäscht die andere, as we hope that our support in regards to Folxmashin may allow your government to take a more proactive stance in regards to the Domain.

As a first measure, the Socialist World Republic is willing to go so far as to ban the import of Folxmashin cars into the Socialist World Republic. Being a market of 160 million people, we believe this to be an appropriately powerful measure as to allow us to request a similiarily decisive move from our colleagues in Eiffelland: the denouncement of the Domain imposed TEZ (Total Exclusion Zone) banning traffic in international waters in the Engelsea.

If your government is interested, we are willing to discuss further cooperation on similiar terms.

Regards,

Louie Reed
Chief Secretary of State
Department of Foreign Affairs
