Today we are asking our European partners why that when Europe's greatest militaries have assembled to do battle, her greatest diplomats have not yet attempted to meet for discussion? With profound respect for the military prowess of our CONPROFOR counterparts and open recognition of the potential for total destruction the Domain wields, we feel obligated to at least attempt to levy diplomats before more missiles are launched.

Irreversibly scarred by her own horrific wars between Other and Engellkind, the West Engell Republican Engellachians understand the severity of suffering taking place in the Burgundian Civil War. And while we have duly endeavored to safeguard Neustrian independence and liberty this mission has come at great cost to Neustrian life and security. Ouistreham serves as the darkest example of what this war has wrought, and if we can do anything at all to prevent this kind of destruction from happening again: the WER-TAC will.

Staging and location preferences for dialogue is of little concern for Engellachians, though there are many locations both ally and enemy alike cannot agree to meet at. We would suggest Jugol, Azraq as a distant and neutral location. If our partners in CONPROFOR can suggest another amenable location, then we will promptly reply with our decision and issue a general ceasefire if the BPR can also agree to issue a ceasefire alongside armed allies.

The People's Federal Socialist Republic of Kadikistan and its Workers' Government agrees with the call for diplomacy from the West Engell Republic. We dare admit that his call was met with a healthy degree of scepticism given the recent conduct of the Thaumatic Domain both in the manner of their 'diplomacy' and the military conduct that followed it. Nonetheless if words can prevent further bloodshed we, as a peace-loving nation, must give it a chance. We trust that the larger partners of the West Engell Republic agree with this initiative.

Furthermore we have no objections to such a peace conference taking place in the Azraqi Empire.

With this indication from the People’s Federal Socialist Republic, a fellow peace-loving nation, the West Engell Republic has ordered a ceasefire from its Combined Armed Forces with the trust that enemies and allies will soon follow suit.

Following our long standing neutrality, we have so far only been outside observers but this government is horrified by alleged actions taken by certain state actors. We hope this peace conference won't be used to wash away or bury any sins?

No conceivable time or venue can contain the immense amount of grievances emanating from Europe’s foremost conflict, but we believe that strong leadership is required to discern how the scale of potential future suffering outweighs the awful chaos already wrought.

This Office for the Administration of Government of the Confederated Republic commends our allied friends and partners in the West Engell TAC for their measured foresight and commitment to the Cause of True Civilization. The Confederated Republic enjoys a not at all inconsiderable respect for the integrity of the Jugol, and Azraqi Imperial institutions beyond. We therefore agree with and accept this choice of location, with a further acknowledgement of the fitness of those leaders present in the Jugol to serve as mediators, at need.

We would however caution our other would-be partners in these peace accords that we have no interest, or time for disingenuous propagandizing. The Confederated Republic is, has, and always will be committed to the diplomatic process, and reminds the Peoples Federal Socialist Republic that had it allowed Dr. Josef Koscialkowsky's plane to land, we might have avoided much discord otherwise. We are willing to concede any number of items on our own part, but likewise have no interest in, or reason to waste more of our time on futile wool gathering.

All parties will enter these talks with the same open willingness to seek the best results for the people of Neustria, or there is no point to these talks. We are not here to aggrandize Ivar, but to seek peace.

The Burgundian People's Republic applauds those nations seeking a peaceful solution to the current crisis engulfing Bourgogne, however the All Burgundian National Congress wishes to make clear that the the Burgundian People's Republic is the legitimate government of the province of Oustria not the Kingdom of Neustria.

A ceasefire been ordered which Armée Nationale Républicaine will comply with.

We would be honoured to attend any peace conference that promises an end to this conflict, wherever it takes place and will abide by the decisions made at such a conference.

We applaud the West Engell Republic for taking this initiative, the Empire of Azraq for hosting the conference, and all nations willing to attend the conference. As the minister of foreign affairs of one of the countries contributing to CONPROFOR, I would like to attend the peace conference as well.
