We do not do name changes anymore, it is something users can do themselves now.

If you click your name at the top of the page one of the options, the first for me, is change username under my flag.
The new forum layout is new to me too so maybe it's different for standard accounts.

There was a limit of at least 150 posts to change names to discourage new players from immediately nation changing. I've reduced it to 100.

You can do that yourself through the drop down panel appearing when you click on your name on the top right corner of the screen. The first option on the left column is the Change Username one.

Hi, I just want to run this by y'all!
I'm Lucas Stewart, Prime Minister of United Kingdom, and it's by virtue of that position that I have this account on your lovely forums! However, the HM Government of United Kingdom is working on a transition in our ambassador structure in which we'll simply have an account called "United Kingdom Ambassador" associated with a Google account held in trust by HM Government. That is, it's not associated with any particular person, just whoever is running the government.
I know that it's typically a problem to sign up for an account that has the same IP address as an existing account, but of course that's exactly what would happen if I sign up as United Kingdom Ambassador, since I already have this account. So my question is this: would it be possible for us to seek special permission for the United Kingdom Ambassador account? Or could I simply transition this account from my personal one to the UKA account? Or, of course, my personal account could be deleted entirely to pave the way for United Kingdom Ambassador.

We have quite a few players on this forum which multi-account. It’s not a problem... typically you have the freedom to change your account name in your settings once you hit 100 posts once a month... as you are 95 posts away and unlikely to hit that anytime soon I suggest you create a new account.

On the subject of account customization, would it be possible to reconsider the linking of accounts together, so that it's easier to switch between nations for people with secondaries?
