Indeed your publication was right to attach the bottom disclaimer. One could very well wonder about the strength of your readership when it posts such frighteningly ignorant, dare we say xenophobic diatribes such as this.

This woman's bile is essentially a propaganda post for the DDI. We have news for you in your seemingly isolated part of the world. Please get with the times. The Continental Empire of Justosia is under a foreign policy directive. Soft power is integral to this which is called Strategic Neutrality. Justosia is also a leading voice for soft power in the ODS. In our humble, non voting role as an observer.

The Defenders of Democracy mantle is not yours to horde. We would advise your publication to remember this. Instead of creating propaganda opportunities for the far left nations of Europe. The actual threats to democracy. Viva Justosia.

Heavy Explosion Rocks Austwegian Town of Nystad
A narrative of neighborly crime and ethnic tensions crosses the border
(Picture: an aerial photo of the residential neighborhood in Central Nystad)
21. maaliskuu 2020

[NYSTAD, Østveg] — Reports of two men contracting a local police station in Nystad and taking credit for a massive explosion that rocked central Nystad last night has shocked Austwegians and sparked controversy. They are rumored to be working for a crime syndicate that may be attached to drugs and freedom fighters in Ulster. The exact specifications cannot be known due to the lack of border crossing security on Pohjanmaan borders.

A total of 14 ambulances could be seen immediately afterwards as the explosion could be heard all over the town.

A hallmark of Post-Delegationist policy, the government does not construct border security as it does not wish to be enforce borders allowing for the free movement of people. Notably, it is easy to for foreigners to settle in Pohjanmaa, although many choose not to do so due to cultural differences and the fact for much of its history Pohjanmaans have not experienced much as far as personal wealth goes. Today this policy has been used to harm Pohjanmaans via an act of terrorism.

No fatalities could be reported, although at least 18 have been taken to hospital. Residents were in shock as crime is general unheard of and violence attacks a general impossibility.

President Lepomäki has assured residents of Nystad that their safety is paramount and changes in border policy with Strathclyde would have to be made. “I cannot understand why this attack has occurred on our soil, but we will begin routine military checks at common border crossings and air surveillance to ensure unchecked crossings can be minimized. Evil meets us once again, and I will begin talks with the leadership in Strathclyde to ensure this does not happen again.”

Many residents of Nystad, and Austwegians as a whole don’t believe enough is being done. “It’s clear they want us dead,” remarked a woman near Nystad city center today. “They are trying to spread their war into Østveg, and if they want to do that we should take the fight to their country.” Another that did not wish to provide his name didn’t understand the sense of it all, “why would they do this? There is no recreational drug policy in Østveg and they had free reign to sales here. Now they won’t even be able to cross the border.”

The attack highlights a difference in opinion in the Province of Ulster, which many citizens there blame Pohjanmaa for the so-called Nordic Death Squads that roamed there during the end of the war that occurred in the 1980s. Pohjanmaa has always rejected the assertion, and refuses to take responsibility for the chaos that engulfed the region during the war. “Of course Pohjanmaa will not take responsibility for the actions of citizens of Strathclyde that occurred during that time period. Our goals were in defeating an evil regime that attacked us first, and with the help of the Sylvanians we accomplished our goals,” stated the former President of that time period Jere Lahtinen.

Lahtinen himself decided to apply Pohjanmaan justice upon Ulster during the late 80s, where the military held secret tribunals which banished terrorists and criminals to exile in the far north. When news of the policy broke in 1990, outrage in Ulster forced the policy to end and subsequently self-governance returned to Ulster in the aftermath by 1991.

The Eduskunta is expected to debate the issue of border security next week, where many believe open borders cannot be removed because it is a defining point of the freedoms of Pohjanmaa. To lose this freedom would be an attack upon the inhabitants of Pohjanmaa and a great injustice. However the local Austwegian Riksdag began an emergency session today demanding permanent border checks on all frontiers. Additionally ferry service to Waldemarsudde was cancelled on request of the Riksdag and affirmation of President Lepomäki.

Additionally, the Væstøstvegsk milits (West Austwegian Militia) was called together as well and decided that they would also conduct border checks independently of the Austwegian Army. “It is not our intention to allow any Manx man, woman or child use of our private roads. They will return home or be jailed,” stated the captain of the militia Sverker Hjalmarssson. Austwegian roads are mostly owned by a collection of three corporations that charge tolls for individual usage. These corporations have signaled support of the militia’s desires.

The sense of panic among Austwegians is quite large, especially due to the ethnic strife in neighboring Ulster which has claimed countless lives and seems to be escalating. The other ethnic regions of Pohjanmaa which include the Fenns and Metsamaans have signaled their support in their own local parliaments as well.

Naturally we condemn this senseless attack and are willing to provide any support possible to assist our friends in their fight against terror. Whether it be intelligence, assistance in cutting off access to finances, or more, we stand by our Pohjanmaan and Austwegian cousins.

In the meantime, Nedernesia's only land border on the Kleurland Peninsula will from today implement more stringent security checks. The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority will reserve the right to interview individuals crossing from Pohjanmaa into Nedernesia at the land crossing on Kleurland. Additionally, passengers on flights arriving to Vrijpoort Transcontinental Skyport from Pohjanmaa and Strathclyde cities will undergo increased security screening measures at Immigration and Checkpoints Authority Vrijpoort Transcontinental.

Nedernesia has for centuries maintained an open-border policy that welcomes almost anyone who wishes to set up a life and engage in commerce, so long as they are vetted and have reasonable plans and/or means. This is why we do not require visas from any nationality and immigration documentation for longer-term and permanent stays can be applied for onsite. However, in order to protect our denizens and citizens, we maintain strict border security in order to know who and what is coming and going.

We do not tell others how to run their camp, but if our cousins in Pohjanmaa find it prudent and necessary to implement border checkpoints, we would be happy to lend assistance in the form of theoretical and practical training. This could include a contingent of Immigration and Checkpoints Authority officers who would travel to Pohjanmaa for a specified period of time.

May you recover from this atrocity expeditiously and prosper!

THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, 122 KARLSTAD STREET,
Charleroi, Clarion, C.R.S., 35322-2334

CONFIDENTIAL

We are shocked and angered that such a brazen attack has been made upon our friends. The peace that we have worked tirelessly to secure has been shattered by the actions of terrorists. Upon learning of this terrible attack I took a moment to pray for those injured and for the people and nation of Pohjanmaa. I now pray that the 18 injured, who's lives and family's lives have now been filled with terror, do not lose their lives because of the hateful scum of Ulster. The Continental Republic stands with Pohjanmaa, we stand to condemn this evil attack upon peace loving people, we condemn the terror groups of Ulster, and we condemn the passivity of Strathclyde's government.

When we are forced to face such reckless hatred there is only one thing we can do, we must steel ourselves for the coming dark times. While words of comfort and prayer may go far to sooth the souls of those affected, words alone will not stop terrorism in its tracks. The Continental Republic offers whatever resources it can give that would be beneficial to securing the Pohjanmaan borderlands from further attack. We offer officers of the Federal Border Police to give training and help set up secured zones and patrols, among these officers is countless years of patrolling the southern border of Sylvania in harsh and difficult terrain. As members of the DDI it is our duty to help defend one another, we are ready to assist should the situation escalate and call for the need of military assistance.

Additionally we have ordered heightened alert of the Continental Armed Forces in Strathclyde (CAFiS) til such a time that it is no longer needed. The people will demand action, we must harden our hearts and take actions that are sound and necessary though our hearts may cry out in anguish for vengeance and violence.

In friendship,

STT would like to reach out to PjK colleagues reporting from Nystad and clarify which drugs are funding terrorist actions, and which freedoms alleged militants from Ulster are resorting to violence to defend? We are preparing an article with what information that we have this evening that illustrates this ongoing conflict and fresh attack as an issue of racial animus. Drugs and politics, we intend to argue, are only aggravating factors inspiring the deadly border of bigotry being blazed deadly by Strathclyde.

Public Statement by the Government of The Principality of Strathclyde
We condemn the reckless endangerment of lives by mindless thugs who pray on the weak and vulnerable they say for freedom of Ulster but profit off the untold misery and terror they cause. We like to stress that our security services have been tracking persons of interest for several months and have requested multiple times for greater cross border cooperation but they went unheard.

We will not comment on wider Pohjanmaan's policy of free movement but we stress they need for mutual checkpoints of the same standards to ensuring the flow of capital and equipment used for terrorism is stopped.

Ministry of External Affairs

After being a victim of a series of terror attacks less than a year ago, the Federation of Natal fully understands the shock and tragedy the people of Pohjanmaa go through at this moment and us, folk and government alike, stand in solidarity with the victims and their families and are ready to offer our support to those in need of aid and to both the government of the Commonwealth of Pohjanmaa and the local authorities of Nystad.

The Federation of Natal fully condemns this terrorist attack which has clearly targeted civilians, hoping to sow terror, death, suffering and destruction to the innocent citizens of Nystand, showing how vicious such extrajudicial terror groups are. While they lie to themselves and to their sponsors that they wage a just war, nothing is just when the innocents suffer. This is sadly, just one, bloodier episode in the recent uptick of violence in Ulster, that has now spilled north of the border. We cannot but condemn the this circle of violence that has started during the Valentine Regime and the war the followed and is now being restarted by the sectarian conflicts in Ulster, to which not only Nordic people, but also innocent Manx fell victim to.

We hope that in the end peace will prevail and that the murderers, both the ones that have actively participated but also the masterminds behind this attack will be brought to justice. It is a slim comfort to the families of the victims, but it must be the next step after the immedate one which is to aid the wounded and offer support to the victims, so that such episodes will never take place again. The Natalian embassies both in Pohjanmaa and in Strathclyde will fly their flags at half mast for a week to show their condolences and their support to the Pohjan people. In the end, if needed, we will be ready to aid the government of the Commonwealth with a team of experts which have participated in our own anti-terrorist campaign against the Rhinos so they can offer their expertise.

Signed and Sealed
with loyalty to God and Folk

Renewed Impetuous In Defense
An increased defense urgency has been spurred forward with a close call near Eiffelland, a terrorist attack from Strathclyde, and Justosian fleet increases
(Picture: The Sylvanian Navy’s Sylvania-class amphibious assault ship)
6. huhtikuuta 2020

[WALDEMARSUDDE] — President Noora Lepomäki has made it clear that the time is now to take defense preparations seriously. In her address to the Eduskunta today she announced the decision to abide to our DDI partner’s desire for Pohjanmaa to pull more of its weight in the alliance with the purchase of a Sylvania-class amphibious assault ship. The ship purchase comes with an obligation to purchase a second ship, although negotiations on if it will be a ship of the same class or another class are still on-going.

It will be the first ship of this type in Pohjanmaa’s history, although it is larger in displacement and dimensions than the aircraft carriers employed during the 1940s and 1950s.

The new ship will be named Väinämöinen and thus be considered the Väinämöinen-class in Pohjanmaa. Sylvanian officials have yet to state when the ship will delivered.

The ship is hoped to be able to launch the fighters that will be designed from the domestically developed Advanced Fighter 4.5 Program, which has been on the back burner for the last few years but now given the green light for production last week. The NX AF4.5 Program which has brought in Sylvanian and Touzenese aid has largely been shunned by both nations as a waste of development money and a redundancy, but the clear need for a short take off carrier worthy jet fighter has forced its production. For quite sometime, it has been rumored to be a government program to give Pohjanmaa an inflated defense budget to appease allies. It is possible that the non-carrier version that has been test flown over the last ten years could be entered into a Madjuran fighter procurement competition to help displace costs.

Another major reasoning for the defensive boost is the increased need to deflect what is considered to be new threats. Terrorism from Strathclyde has shutdown the border for a month and this is to be considered a new normal as the military and militia groups refuse to allow people to cross without special passes. Additionally increased vigilance and patrols with jets, helicopters, and utility vehicles on the border is higher than it has ever been in modern times. The Lepomäki Administration has deflected all responsibility of the terrorist attack to the Strathclydian government, and their “cheeky” response to the attack infuriated insiders and military officials. The result is the continuation of a militarization of the border and a wartime footing at Pohjanmaan bases in Strathclyde. This war time footing has opened the bases to Touzenese forces which have begun slowly moving defensive materials and personnel to the Ulster bases as of last week.

Meanwhile the Free Navy has refused unregistered or unresponsive vessels access to Pohjanmaan waters. This has yet to prove a problem, but does increase hostilities with neighboring Strathclyde.
The Free Navy has also begun to remilitarize Nord Dronning Ragnhild Land base, something that has been in talks with DDI ally Sylvania for months.

The remilitarization of Pohjanmaa is a process that could be lengthy and expensive, but following the terrorist attack, DDI demands in the face of the Justosian 4th fleet, and the general hostility experienced near Eiffelland, there is now public willpower to do so.

Foreign Affairs & Trade Office
We are pleased that Lepomäki Administration have finally taken the threat from the paramilitaries who operate on both sides of the border seriously but we ask for a explanation of the moving of foreign elements within our borders. This Office, the Defence & Security Office none of our government departments for the matter won't informed at all on this.

Also we completely reject the total blame for the terrorist attack, we have for some time requested greater cross border co-operation, we as well have to highlight the fact that we advised for the open border to be closed for a temporary basis during the public disorder that happened in the Free City of Moira early this year but we were ignored.

Do not be mistaken this is not us shifting responsibility, this government carries the weight of the security and public safety of Ulster heavily on its shoulders. We have made some major improves since inheriting it back from Pohjanmaa but there is still a way to go.

We believe for wider security in that region we must have a clear dialogue on the intentions of the "wartime footing". Public mistrust in your military presence in Ulster is already high and is nearly hitting the levels during the Great Unrest of Ulster.

How can we inform the public and stop the misinformation without a clear dialogue?

Dear Tran Moyle, MSE
Foreign and Trade Secretary

The Ulkoministeriö would like to make clear that the movements of personnel and materials that occur on Pohjanmaan bases much like our embassies are confidential and not subject to foreign scrutiny as they occur on rented, leased, or contractually obligated Pohjanmaan soil.

Since the end of the war between our nations in the 1980s our border policies and security have been flexible and open. This has allowed a great deal of prosperity for the people of Ulster as they had access to Pohjanmaan foodstuffs and goods which were not always easy to come by in the post-war era. This policy has been well-informed and well managed by prior administrations in Strathclyde without problem. The failure of the Finlay Administration to respect our border policy has been evident and keenly noticed in Pohjanmaa. The Finlay Administration attempting to share the responsibility and request new border policies and new security paradigms is an optic that Pohjanmaa has not and does not appreciate.

Thus due to this failure, our border policy changes have been made unfortunately to the detriment of the people of Ulster. Further changes to our new border policy will not be made unless the terrorist threat in Ulster can be solved.

Our borders in our belief include our military bases that house our personnel and materials within Ulster. These regions are and will continue to be reinforced against terrorist threats.

How this dialogue is framed for the people of Ulster is something that must be tackled by the Finlay Administration which in our opinion got the “Ulster Question” horribly wrong. Our responsibility is to the Pohjanmaan people and especially to our inhabitants and those that choose to maintain their careers abroad. With this in mind, it is our expectation that the Finlay Administration will protect Pohjanmaan assets within Strathclyde including but not necessarily limited to military bases, embassies and consulates. Failure to do so would mark yet another instance of the Finlay Administration failing to maintain the diplomatic expectations that exist between our nations and will be considered yet another insult to the currently good and fair relations maintained between Strathclyde and Pohjanmaa.

A Chaotic Military Show of Strength
Shots fired on the world’s largest ocean set the stage for a new war or peace that will define politics in the Far East for generations to come
(Picture: Free Navy Ship Vaasa, a guided missile destroyer docked in the Anti-State)
1. kesäkutta 202
[GÖÖTEHAMINA] — Everything took a turn for the worse on May 13th when Ambrosian pilot Lt. Erin Spalding was shot down and presumably killed by a Justosian missile during her freedom of navigation mission in the Silk Seas. The massive Justosian Imperial Fleet has gained size tremendously over the past decade and their open opposition to freedom of the seas agreements has set them a world apart from most of the democratic world.

This build up has placed all the nations of this region in competition for the strongest naval power abilities in the region. Nevermind the fact no nation in the region will touch the naval strength of the Democratic Defense Initiative’s (DDI) Anti-State. Even still, tensions build because of the reckless abandon of the Justosian Empire.

It was not long ago that the Justosian Empire sent a carrier fleet to the Claret Sea (Loong Sea) and was chased away by the Pelasgian Imperial Navy. This embarrassment suffered has perhaps made the Justosians more dangerous as they build their 4th carrier fleet. The new fleet has been the subject of controversy as Justosian citizens struggle under one of the most burdensome tax structures in the world. Justosia maintains a massive military in comparison to their population and their economy has suffered mightily since its mad monarchs have decided to prioritize military spending in what was one of the most peaceful regions.

Such naval build up has forced other nations in the region to commit to building more carriers as well. This includes Pohjanmaa which has ordered an amphibious assault ship from DDI ally Sylvania. The build up has caused controversy for President Lepomäki which stands for re-election in November. Increases in defense spending will directly impact budgetary concerns for the next year and Pohjanmaans are not enthusiastic about tax increases. Pohjanmaa already stakes itself out as Scania’s major power and maintains an active role in keeping the world’s water ways open and clear for all ships around the world regardless of origin.

Pohjanmaan inhabitants have taken to the street protesting the terror attack months ago, and this forced the Lepomäki Administration to take action on the open border policy with Strathclyde. Further protests from earlier marked the chemical explosion in 2018 and now recent peace protests seem to show a habit of protest against the decisions of the Lepomäki Administration. Despite this, President Lepomäki seems to be well-liked for her measured and slow decision making. Pohjanmaa has not committed itself quickly to any demands on a whim and has slowly responded to most crises.

Her decision to send diplomats to the Jugol Peace Conference has been applauded by critics, but also been decried as merely following the lead of her Sylvanian allies which have taken the front foot on Silk Seas policy. Yet, now as both war or peace seem equally possible in Jugol, inner-circle aides have suggested that Azraq’s entrance to the Claret Sea Council as an observer nearly had Pohjanmaa leave the talks if not for Sylvanian pressure to remain. The move to join the Claret Sea Council at this junction has given Pohjanmaan diplomats a feeling that Azraq does not take the opinions of DDI members seriously at any rate and may have ruined Pohjanmaan interest in walking away with a peace plan.

A source from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs has rejected this claim, but this has not calmed nerves in Göötehamina where protests outside of the President’s resident occurred over the weekend.

“The nation is on a razor’s edge. The terrorist attack months ago has set people off and ruined their faith in the administration to keep them safe. Yet at the same time there is a certain appetite for revenge no matter who the opponent,” iterated a Juho Aalto, a Parliamentarian for the current session that begins today.

A peace deal or failing that the event of war will likely rapidly change who holds all of the power in the Silk Seas and will firmly establish the victors as in control of one half of the world. Therefore the results of the Jugol Conference should be important to all nations from around the world.

The Empire of Azraq applied for observer membership of the Claret Sea Council given the body of water's geostrategic importance to our trade and security interests and as part of our 'friendly relations with all nations' doctrine.

The request was not intended as a slight against Pohjanmaa and we hope rumours in the Pohjanmaan press of Azraq being perceived as not interested or unsympathetic to the position or interests of the DDI+ are untrue.
