Il Pagliazzo Asesino IV: Il Pagliazzo Asesino Ritorna ( ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ) - This new entry into the series of horro movies offers a little bit of everything to every movie-goer: horror and gore for the goosebump afficionados, romance for the hopeless lovers and political intrigue and scathing social critic for the more intellectuals and skeptics. Director Carlo Massimiliano, newcomer to the series, had big shoes to fill after the departure of series creator, and he does not disappoint.

In this new sequel to the 1999 hit film, Il Pagliazzo Asesino, we follow police detective Emiliano Inspettore, played by Matteo Croce fully submersed in his role, in the fictional city of Vila Mima, as he tries to bring the killer clown that is to blame for the blood on the streets, while the city tears itself apart as tensions rise high as rising politician, Amadeo Vittorio, played by singer turned actor Vittorio Vittorio, pins the killings on hymirari gangs.

Alas, long long gone are the times of the escaped psycopathic killer from the original, or the demonic clown from Il Pagliazzo Asesino III: Il Demone Della Risata, and while pursuing the clown faced killer, played by series veteran Tulio Marsiglio, who returns to his role, Emiliano Inspettore uncovers more than just a string of killings, but a web of intrigue that threatens to bring the whole system down. A must watch!

Assembly orders enquiry after ammo and explosives stolen from Garda Cívica depot

The Assembly of Delegates has ordered an enquiry after several ammo and explosive caches were stolen from a Garda Cívica depot in the Montecorvo region. According to the police investigation the depot was broken into on the night from the 24th to the 25th of February as the depot was left unguarded over night. It was also found that the wire fence surrounding the depot was found to have several gaps in it and was in need of repair, a fact which the Comitéi dei Securitá had been alerted to several months before the robbery, though failed to properly act on it. The Assembly has judged the robbery to be a result of gross incompetence on the part of the authorities responsible in charge of security in the facility, and on the part of the Comitéi dei Securitá, which failed in its role as the supervisory body.

The investigation spurred the resignation of not only the officer directly in charge of the depot and the regional commander of the Montecorvo Garda Cívica, but also of several members of the Comitéi's inspection board and the the Garda's representative on the supervisory body. Calls have also been made by members of the Assembly of Delegates for the resignation of Paolo Barca, member of the Executive Committee as a representative of the PD and Commissary for Internal Affairs, directly in charge of affairs pertaining to the Garda. Commissary Barca has however been unwilling to resign, even if sources within his party report that there have also been internal pressure for him to resign, fearing that his permanence as Commissary will hurt the party and if removed by the Assembly it'd further damage the party's image. In a statement to the press declared that he was wholly uninformed on the security faults of the depot, not having been informed of them by the Comitéi dei Securitá.

In order to determine political responsibility the Assembly has called for an official enquiry. Called to stand before the enquiry will be commissary Paolo Barca, all members of the Comitéi dei Securitá and its inspection board, the officer directly in charge of the depot and several aides to Commissary Barca. The enquiry could result in the commissary's destitution, as if the commissary is determined to be liable delegates of La Primavera would be convinced to remove the commissary. Polls currently show that the PD's share of votes has decreased in the face of the current controversy, but even if all other parties attempt to call for early elections the Assembleia dei Notabli is unlikely to approve the call for early elections over such an issue.
