Adriana Koleničková awarded medal from the National Academy

Historian and noted Slavist Adriana Koleničková has been awarded with the medal of the Order of Cultural Merit by the National Academy after the published her three volume work, The Political History of the Western Slavs from Migration to the invasions of the Eternal Empire. In her works, Koleničková analyses the evolution of the polities of the early Western Slavs, which are today the Nitrans, Crotobaltislavonians, Polans and Krasnyslavians.

In her thesis, the lecturer at the University of Central Germania from Bystrica is presenting the ways similar ways the traditional tribal democracies of the Slavs functioned, with the Knieža or Prince for the Nitrans, Książę for Polans and Knez for Slavonian ans Krasnyslavians representing more a temporary military commander, rather than the accepted western viewpoint of hereditary monarch. The same way, Adriana Koleničková analyses the most known city council of them all the, Veche of Rurikgrad and observes the presence of this institution in the polities of the other Western Slavs too, with the Veche being present in Crotobaltislavia, while the Polans, Krasnyslavians and Nitrans having the Rada.

She concludes that the traditional slavic polities were revolutionary in their sense and in complete historical antagonism to the later invasive Christian-type monarchy. The conclusion also includes a series of comparisons, showing the present day republican people's democracies of the Kasnyslavian and Polan SRs, the Democratic Republic of Nitra and the Free Canton of Crotobaltislavonia as being closer to the real and original slavic polities from ancient days than the later imperialist regimes.

Tibor Bosko criticises antiziganism

The Chairman of the Romani Socialist Association, Tibor Bosko has held a speech in at the Association's yesterday meeting in which he criticised the generalised antiziganism found in Eiffellandian, Larsian, Imperial, Burgundian, Serenien and Aurarian societies. He has stated that he has clear proof that in Burgundian refugee camps, Romani people are attacked, hunted, raped or tortured and that is only if they are "lucky" enough to be accepted in them, most of the times being turned around.

Other than that, he has also accused other Gallo-Germanian governments of whitewashing their Romani peoples, not counting them in the censuses and adopting active policies that try to assimilate them and for those they they don't manage that they pent them in all sorts of self-deprecating stereotypes such as thieves, pickpockets, rapists or criminals.

The Romani Socialist Association has been, during the years a strong supporter of the Romani rights in Gallo-Germania, helping many in legal matters in the countries they lived in and fighting tirelessly to change the views many Larsians, Eiffellandians and Serenien have regarding the Roma people.

President visits traditional food producers: President Radovan Havel and members of his staff have visited traditional cheese and meat producers from the Zobor region of the country. The visit comes in the context in which some of the foodstuffs of the region will soon be trademarked and will be soon exported to the external markets.
Communist Youth Marches for Peace: The League of Communist Youth has organised a protest march in the cities of Bystrica and Svit, calling the world governments to set their differences aside and to start cooperating and working together to end human suffering and exploitation.

Referendum of Defence. Nitrians to be called to the cast the ballot

The Central Committee of the Nitrian League of Communists, together with the Presidency, led by comrade Radoslav Havel and the Ministry of National Defence, led by General Lubomir Detvansky have come together in an extraordinary meeting today in Bystrica in response to the most violent war taking place in Neustria.

As a response to the superior firepower the Engellkin forces are showing, compared to the local defenders, the Central Committee has stated that a change in the defence doctrine of the Democratic Republic must be revamped in a way that takes into consideration the realities of 21st century warfare and the experiences gained from observing the Burgundian war.

The General Command of the Nitrian People's Army has understood that should en episode like the one in Bourgogne take place on the territory of our motherland, the chances for our brave armed forces to be overrun is high so the staff have stated that the defence of the motherland must be made a general objective and that any force with hostile intent is to penetrate the barrier of the Zobor Mountains, the people and even the nature and terrain are to come together into a generalised national liberation war.

For this, the Ministry of National Defence have come up with the doctrine of the Celkom Národná Obrana (Total National Defence), which will create a network of stay behind weapon caches and militarised formations, named the Territorial Defence Forces. The new paramilitary forces will be formed of volunteers that have finished their training as conscripts in the People's Army and while living civilian lives in general, they will come a weekend every six weeks for shooting training.

The goal is to create a fully national force that is totally centred on defence that will be ready to show any hostile force invading the motherland that the lands of the Nitrians has been in history the place where empires ended: the Tiburans never managed to pass through it, the Eternal Empire or the Slavian Empire, the same. For inside the motherland, nature itself is at war with any invader.

"The war in Burgundy must be a lesson to us all, that in the end, the most important goal of Europe's all politicians should, or must be the defence of their own motherlands and the unity of their very own people. I will tell the world, that the Nitrian people have learned this lesson and with this new doctrine, we can say that the people itself is armed and should we be invaded, be the hostiles coming from the west, east, north or south, even above, everyone will be ready to take up arms and show that the love for the motherlands transcends all the differences that we have now. We will be ready to do the ultimate sacrifice so that our children and nephews to enjoy life in freedom and prosperity," stated President Radovan Havel in his speech to the Rada.

The Nitrian people is expected to come soon to the ballot to cast a vote in which they will approve or reject this new defence oriented doctrine.

Pribina continues to improve quality and services: The main auto manufacturer in the Democratic Republic, Pribina, has reaffirmed their goal to improve the quality of the automobiles they manufacture. Since 1970, the Bystrica based company has improved it's assembly lines in such a way that the waiting time to receive a car has been reduced from 15 years to five weeks. With the improving of relationship with the other Gallo-Germanian nations, Pribina hopes to open up to markets such as Eiffelland-Retalia, the Holy Tiburan Empire, Lars, Serenierre and Auraria. Until recently the main importer of Nitrian vehicles was the Kadikistani Union and the People's Republic of Ostmark.
Government approaches Ostmark: As part of the general approach towards local and friendly governments, Bystrica has started it's rapprochement with Wien with the main goal being an amelioration of the trade between the two nations and the development of more connections and bonds between the two. Part of the agenda for this are also improving ties with Polesia, Kadikistan, Crotobaltislavonia, Lars and Eiffelland-Retalia.
The Three Dinari Tragedy: The highly sought after opera, the Three Dinari Tragedy, written by Paulína Ondrejová had it's successful premiere at the National Threatre in Bystrica. The opera deals with the sad realities of the Nitrian monarchy and the massive rift between the nobility and their luxurious life compared to the sad life of the serfdom. Many critics have been extremely positive of the play as it leaves behind the old socialist rhetoric of the last century, trying to approach the spirit of the new generations, while still being extremely strong in it's message.

Ministry of Economy announces new player on technology market

The Minister of Economy, Justína Repková has announced that Nitra must offer a breakthrough in the technological sector in the name of the greater socialist world in general and of the Nitrian people in particular. As of yet, the main market of computers, smartphones and laptops is dominated by the Engell iBone family of gadgets and by the Aurarian Calatrava range. Since the reforms that took place nearly thirty years ago, the Democratic Republic of Nitra has adopted a series of new policies which concentrated the economy on consumer goods rather than heavy industry, with the general scope of "a generalised improvement of the standard of life of the people, as a next step up towards the building of communism".

In this reorientation, the creation of surplus value through the production of high quality goods has become the most important element of every 5 year plan since 1980 and has eased up the steps needed to invest in the country. As a result of the political and economic genius of our late comrade president Maximilan Holub, the Nitrian workers and peasants are by now enjoying the same quality of life as the average Germanian, even before the reduction of it brought by the 7 Days War and the birth of the People's Republic of Polesia from the ashes of the imperialist regime of the Free State of Trivodnia.

To continue this successful development, the Ministry of Economy wishes to add another superstar to the holy trinity of Nitrian economy, that being the a wholly new company which will create the first Nitrian smartphones, laptops and PCs. It will be named Zobor, after the mountain range in the north of the country. Minister Justína Repková has stated that plans for them have already been made and that the first Nitrian smartphone will be presented at the XVI Congress of the League of Communists and there might be chances for it to hit the markets by the end of the year.

Dependent of trade for heavy industry goods and oil and gas from the trade with the Kadikistani Union, the 7 Day War has made many of the Nitrian people suffer as during the war in Trivodnia much of the trade was suspended. But as much as they were seen as risky during the existence of Trivodnia, the close commercial ties between Nitra and Kadikistan have been extremely beneficial for the Democratic Republic, as good quality Pribina automobiles, NitElectric appliances, Blatna wool knitwear, or the famous Modra glassware and crystalware have been extremely sought after in Ivar, Rurikgrad and all over the Union, only making the bond between Kadikistan and Nitra stronger by the years.

Dire news from Bourgogne: The shadow of Engell imperialism looms by now over the northern half of Neustria as the full force of the armed forces of the Domain, with the Cussians as their vanguard are smashing through the defences of the Burgundians. One can only but remember how close all this is to the invasion of Germania by the hordes of the Eternal Empire.
Pax Germanica?: Nitrian analysts are still waiting to see if the conference organised at Belgarsk by the First Secretary of the Kadikistani Workers' Communist Party, Sergei Moravscik will be successful in bringing together friend and foe alike. Should the enemies of yesterday come together, it will be a great diplomatic victory that will put these days in the history books.
Tourists enjoy the end of summer: With one last heat wave, bringing 30 degrees of heat in Bystrica and along the southern coasts of the Polesian Sea, the Nitrian tourists have assaulted the beaches, hotels and pubs in the hopes of enjoying one last comforting ice cold beer or one last bath, before autumn comes.

The XVI Congress of the League of Communists concludes

With great pomp, showing great optimism for the future, the 16th Congress of the League of Communists has concluded today at the Palace of the Republic in Bystrica. More than 5,000 delegates from all over the Democratic Republic, together with high ranking officials from the People's Republics of Ostmark and Polesia and the Kadikistani Union have participated in what will be seen in history as the Congress that cemented the development of the 21st century socialist economy and it's great leaps forward towards developing the path towards communism.

The main subjects analysed, discussed and voted upon in the Conference were the CONPROFOR action in Bourgogne, the new economical plans and the enhanced defence of the Democratic Republic. As it has been decided in the Belgarsk Conference, the Nitra, as a member of the international community, has always been an actor that struggled for peace and friendship between nations, and will join the CONPROFOR by sending a brigade of Hussars as peacekeepers. The unit will join the Ostmarker contingent and has been already deployed to Bourgogne, under the leadership of General Eugen Tesarik. They have been deployed through the city of Vel'ky Dur, Crotobaltislavonia and the Holy Tiburan Empire.

On the economical level, the IT and telecommunications industries of Nitra have achieved a great victory as the Minister of Economy, Justína Repková has officially presented Zobor, the first Nitrian made smartphone. She has promised that the phone will be put on sale by the end of the year and will come in three variants, 1 - a low-cost version for the budget of every Nitrian, 10 - a medium level version, and 100 - the flagship phone, offering 512 GB memory and a triple camera, bringing it to a total of 32 megapixels. The launching of the new smartphone comes as a part of cementing the development of the national economy and pushing it even farther, making it more adaptable to the needs of the comrades all over Europe living in the 21st century. As a part of that, the old 5 year plans have been broken in two parts, with the ones concerning the consumer industry and the IT, which is now going through an industrial revolution and is thus extremely volatile, have only one year plans, while the agricultural and older type of industries still keeping their 5 year plans. As part of the Congress, comrade President Radovan Havel and comrade Minister of Economy, Justína Repková have discussed with comrades Grasser, Kujunzic and Zilberfarb of Ostmark, Kadikistan and Polesia, to enhance trade between the friendly socialist nations.

Defence wise, comrade Havel has officially proclaimed the creation of the Partisan Units of Democratic Nitra, made of volunteers from ex-conscripts of the People's Army. The units are created to be a stay behind army that will be mobilised in case of foreign invasion, especially if the People's Army would be defeated. Designed to have independent command and see their struggle not simply as a political one, but rather a national one, the Partisan Units will be needing special and continuous training and veterans who wish to be a part of it and serve the Nitrian motherland will be called every 8 weeks for a weekend of training which will be physical, strategical, historical, political and most importantly, in the shooting range. Comrade President Havel has stated that this might heat up the spirits in the Grand Duchy of Lars and the Union State of Eiffelland-Retalia, but he stated that he doesn't understand the generalised paranoia of the two regimes, when Nitra is a nation with no imperialist ambitions and historically it was the shield that protected those two nations from the horrors of barbarous hordes and the destructive pillages of the Eternal Empire.

The Congress itself was seen as a great victory for the working class of Nitra, which has emancipated itself from the obscurantism and misery of the old royalist era, with President Havel stating that the success of the socialist government can be seen in the explosive way the quality of live has improved all across the nation and how there are more chances now than ever for a Nitrian to seek happiness and not be shackled by serfdom, commodification or social stratification. In the end, the president concluded his speech by stating that the old golden age from the pan-slavic fairy tales has become now reality in the day to day life in Bystrica and beyond, all over the Democratic Republic. The attendees then joined to sing first the national anthem and then the internationale, signifying the end of the as of yet most successful congress of the Party, opening a new era of optimism and unshackled development.

The Kadikistani Union applauds our Nitran allies for their succesfull completion of the 16th Congress of the League of Communists. This grand success illustrates that the advancements of socialism in our western neighbour still has much fruits to bare. Marxist-Leninovism, following the Salatic reforms of 1957, is indeed the most succesfull ideology in the world and serves as an example to follow by those still oppressed by the shackles of capitalism. As the League of Communists works with such determination towards the ultimate goal of an emancipated the working class, so to are we determined to stand by their side every step of the way. It was a personal honour to witness this glorious Congress and illustration of people's democracy.

Comrade Havel: "The Success of Socialism comes from the successful pursuit of happiness of the people!"

In anticipation to the Winter Holiday Season, Comrade President Radovan Havel, together with Comrade Marta Novomeská, the Minister of Tourism and Comrade Robert Láska, the Director-General of the National Bureau of Tourism have visited the main resorts of the Zobor Mountains in an impromptu inspection, to determine if the working people of Nitra and of the friendly neighbouring countries can enjoy the best quality in accommodation and service.

While a few issues were observed and are to be remedied in Modra and Dolne Strhare, the authorities have been elated at the pristine status of the hotels and villas found in the isolated ski and spa resorts of Podolinec and Medzev. Comrade President Havel has asked for better transportation to be organised between the rest of the country and those two resorts so that Nitrians can fully enjoy their facilities.

The Medzev Valley is probably the most isolated region in Nitra, divided from the rest of the country by the towering heights of the Zobor Mountains, with Peak Gerlahovsky reaching up to 2,980 metres above sea level. It is close to the borders with Lars and Eiffelland but surrounded by the Southern Mountain Chain along the border, making it also the Pole of Cold in this part of Germania. With it's average height of 1,750 metres, in the winter, cold fronts descent from the mountains, trapping it and offering temperatures as low as -20 degrees.

The Government has released a series of statistics showing how since the reformation of the economic system on the Kadikistani model, the quality of life in Nitra has increased tenfold and that the old rejectionist style war communism is a thing of the past, the same as with the old serfdom and feudalism from the days of the monarchy. "The role of socialism is to improve the lives of the people, all of them and we can state that the Democratic Republic, under the wise guidance of the League of Communists is an immense success that would make the likes of Marx, Engells, Leninov, Vinokourov and Hornický proud, as with the last Party Congress, we have ended the stage in which we rushed our development to bring our society to become a vanguard in quality of life. When the people have said enough, in 1949, the HDI score of Nitra was only at 55% bellow the Gallo-Germanian average. Now, I can proudly say that we sit at a glorious 5% above average and our people can finally enjoy life as it is," stated Comrade President Radovan Havel.

Solidarity with Refugees: The City Councils of Modra, Bystrica and Rajec have come together to discuss the creation of a Committee that will be issued with the goal of building a housing estate in either one of those cities to provide adequate housing and accommodation for Burgundian refugees. The plan is to build a series of prefabricated blocks of apartments, as some can be built up in as fast as a week and be ready to accommodate people in about a month.
Polan and Krasnislavian Cultural Trip: Delegations from the Communist Youth Union of the Polan SR and the Krasnislavian SR have arrived in Bystrica at the invitation of the Nitrian League of Communist Youth, for a week long series of educational and sportive activities with the general goal of developing trans-national youth solidarity and friendship, political education and peace activism.

Filip Medved: Good Evening, dear listeners, you are tuning in to RBI, Radio Bystrica International, the voice of the Free, Popular and Democratic Nitra, ready to offer you the most important news of the day, and the best music. It was a nice and warm day today in Bystrica and along the coast, with the sun offering us it's last rays before autumn comes in full force. But that isn't something to sadden us, as the good weather has offered us record breaking harvests and the autumn and the winter will will pass easier with a good wine or a shot of slivovica in the cold days to come. Now, the news of the day.

In Free Bourgogne, while the Imperialist Domain forces are continuing their illegal invasion, the civilised nations of the world, banded together in the CONPROFOR, namely the Kadikistani Union, Nitra, Ostmark, Eiffelland-Retalia, Crotobaltislavonia and the Holy Tiburan Empire are fortifying their positions along the containment line in a bid to stop any chance of the Engells to push the war to the south or the east, away from the coastal regions of the Engell Sea. The Mission of the CONPROFOR isn't only a military one, as it has been seen from the deployment of the Nitrian and Ostmarkers, as it also contains a humanitarian part too, with many volunteers behind the containment line aiding the Burgundian people, especially victims of the war and refugees and offering medical aid. "We are quite positive that this action of international solidarity will make the Domain understand that should they breach the containment line, they are one step too far on a road of destruction and suffering, as they will make enemies in the whole world," said a Nitrian volunteer nurse, working in a campaign hospital behind the containment line.

The Delegations of the Youth wings of the All-Union Communist Workers' Party of Kadikistan coming from the Polan and Krasnislavian Socialist Republics have been very well received in the capital city of Bystrica, in the Democratic Republic of Nitra. They have been invited by the League of Communist Youth of Nitra in a bid to better develop the sense of solidarity and affinity between them, in a bid to pave the way for friendship and respect for the future generations to come. The Polan and Krasnislavian youth have participated already in a series of educational workshops designed to offer them a sense of understanding in economics, politics and rhetoric and have already enjoyed the sunny coast of the Polesian Sea, even though the water is a bit cold already at this time of the year and the nightlife of Bystrica and for the rest of the week they will go to a camp around Medzev in the Zobor Mountains, where they will enjoy some hiking trips and mountaineering, against coupled together with educational workshops teaching them about the flora and fauna of the Mountains and the national animal of Nitra, the lynx, before returning to Kadikistan.

The Zobor smartphone, presented at the XVI Congress of the League of Communists is already a huge success as it has been pre-ordered by many from the Kadikistani Union, Polesia, Nitra, Ostmark, but also from the Holy Tiburan Empire, Serenierre and Himyar, where it is seen as a quality yet cheaper product than the iBone or the Calatrava. The Zobor-Lynx Telecomunications Company, producing the smarphone has promised that deliveries for the pre-order will be done soon and that the customers can enjoy it by Christmas. This is only one of the many overtures that the government led by Comrade Radovan Havel has done to better integrate Nitra in the Germanian framework as recently the level of economical transactions between the Democratic Republic and the Kadikistani Union, Ostmark, Crotobaltislavonia and the Union State of Eiffelland-Retalia are bigger than ever and many foreign tourists are expected to already to spend the New Year's Eve partying in the ski and spa resorts in the Zobor Mountains.
