Statement from the Office of the President

Federal Republic of Nova Srbja

The Federal Republic of Nova Srbja is shocked by the unjustified reaction of the Democratic Republic of Kadikistan. The intervention by the Grand Duchy of Bourgogne and the Yiddish Free States are not, and this must be properly highlighted, an individual or coordinated initiative by said nation states without the permission or the request of the Federal Government. The intervention has been officially requested by myself as President of the Federal Republic of Nova Srbja, as Interim Prime Minister of the Provisional Government, and as Commander in Chief of the Federal Gendarmerie, after talks and discussions between all the civilian and military authorities, both at local and federal level, of the Federal Republic of Nova Srbja. Therefor, no such thing as "imperialist interventionism" is occuring as we speak.

Our stance is not anti-Kadikistan. Our stance is pro-Nova Srbja. We do, however, doubt the sincerity of Kadikistan's commitment to peace in the region. Threatening our allies who are actively assisting us in our struggle against the criminals of the Novosad Liberation Army, will only disrupt our efforts and severely compromise the outcome of this conflict.

The Federal Republic renews its gratitude to both the Grand Duchy of Bourgogne and the Yiddish Free State for their support and their commitment for the restoration of peace, democracy and freedom in Nova Srbja. Nova Srbja strives to be a liberal, plural and democratic society. The only path to such achievements is the defeat of the Novosad Liberation Army. We think it is necessary to state that Nova Srbja will not become a socialist state once the NLA will be defeated. We also do not seek to spark a conflict against the People's Republic of Istokgrad, and neither do our allies in the Grand Duchy and the Yiddish Free State. Our commitment, as free and democratic nations, is to restore peace in Nova Srbja and bring to justice General Dragan Milutinovic for his crimes against the Srbjan people.

Signed,
Filip Vlahovic
President of the Federal Republic of Nova Srbja

The Kadikistani State, nor the Kadikistani Communist Worker's Party has claimed that the Burgundian intervention was not accepted and indeed welcomed by the elitist Vlahovic clique. We are convinced that the latter will do anything within their power to cling on to whatever power they managed to maintain through bloody war against its own people in the limited territory still under their control. We do not, however, consider the Banja Luka regime as legitimate as legitimacy comes not only from electoral results. Our position on this matter is the same as it always was. The civil war in Nova Srbja is an internal Srbjan affair that should be resolved by the Srbjan people and not by external forces, including forces from Kadikistan. But by taking control of the Srbjan airspace the Burgundian regime has crossed the line in order to artificially keep the Vlahovic regime in place. Outside observers cannot but see that until today Kadikistan has always supported a diplomatic solution to this conflict, even offering various forms of aid to the Federal Government in their fight against fascism. Western hypocrisy is staggering once more, as Burgundian interventionism is once again praised like it has been previously in Milesia and the Green Penisula, while Kadikistan has somehow been appointed the role of aggressor. We ask our opponents what would have happened if Kadikistan had unilaterally seized control over the Srbjan airspace. Surely that would have led to international condemnation from all corners of the world, and truthfully that would have been a correct analysis. But when the table's are turned the western double standard becomes obvious as they appoint themselves the sole right to intervene in any country they please in defence of political, social-economic systems that they deem superior and 'just'. Even now the Kadikistani People's Government has given the Burgundian authorities the option of averting a catastrophic war by simply ending their aerial campaign for domination of the Srbjan skies and allowing the Srbjan people to decide their own faith as is their independent right. Once the deadline has passed this conflict will escalate beyond repair.

Furthermore we wish to assure the Pelasgians that a war against Kadikistan is doomed to fail, especially since they do not understand militarism the way we do. In Kadikistan it are the armed forces that collectively ensure the existence of socialism by guarding and protecting it at all costs. But realizing all scientific political discussion is lost on a regime with such an archaic political system, we will not waste any effort in discussion the theoretical background of Marxist-Leninovist thought with the short-sighted Pelasgian imperialists. We rather urge them to look at the facts before them objectively. Indeed there had been many infractions upon international law and even our own ideology by the previous Kadikistani regimes. But that is something which we do not consider to be our legacy, but rather the legacy of an internal enemy that we have eradicated from the ranks of the Communist Workers' Party and the State at a high collective cost. Surely our departure from Borovanger, Milesia and Varinia are clear examples of how drastically the National Committee for Justice and the Rejuvenation of Socialism has changed the Kadikistani foreign policy. Even in Nova Srbja we stood behind Vlahovic, until the creation of the People's Republic of Istokgrad and the subsequent hostile act of closing the borders between Istokgrad and the rest of the country by Vlahovic and his cronies. That move bringing even greater suffering to the already war-torn nation despite the fact that the forces of the Srbjan Communist Party have never stopped fighting side-by-side with the federal gendarmerie because after all the hostilities and humiliations by the Vlahovic Administration they are still dying to prevent their nation from falling into fascist hands. Until the moment when Bourgogne announced that it would take control over Nova Srbjan airspace we even offered humanitarian and military support for the besieged territories still under Vlahovic's control. We are not the aggressors in this conflict and if this matter is to lead to global war, the blood will be on the hands of the Burgundian elites who failed to let the Srbjan people decide their own fate and temper their imperialist ambitions. So much would be clear to even the smallest child and so shall it be written in the history books.

Signed,
Col. Dimitri Leninov
People's Commissar for External Affairs
Democratic Republic of Kadikistan

The Free State has made it clear time and time again it desires only a peaceful solution to the ongoing conflict in Novo Srbja, but with the Novosad Liberation Army continuing its murderous campaign against civilians, and the Communist administration in Istokgrad recently ending its co-operation with the Federal Srbjan forces, it is obvious such an outcome is now impossible.

The Free State does not desire war with Kadikistan but cannot be bullied into inaction. We urge Ivar to use what leverage it has to bring the declared 'People's Republic of Istokgrad' to the negotiating table and focus the fight on the violent secessionists in Novosad.

The Free State also wishes to clarify it is not directly participating in the aerial patrols above Novo Srbja, but is allowing Burgundian aircraft to use airbases within its territory. These aerial patrols are at the request of President Filip Vlahovic and the Federal Srbjan government, which is internationally recognised as the sole legitimate authority in Novo Srbja, and has had its domestic legitimacy proven through free and fair elections.

WAR AVERTED
Announced Full Mobilization Cancelled and Demobilization of Western Direction, Effective Immediately
Only the Northern Direction remains mobilized as Burgundian Imperialists stand down and relinquish control over Nova Srbjan airspace

A great international victory was achieved today as the Burgundian coalition stands down and turns back the Nova Srbjan airspace to the Srbjan people under Kadikistani pressure. Our nation was on the verge of total war against the powers of the West as the Burgundian air force seized control over the Novo Srbjan skies. Wanting the Srbjan Civil War to remain an internal affairs and fearing the forced creation of a Chagny puppet-state against the will of the Srbjan people and against the strategic interests of our great nation in Germania, the Committee for Justice and the Rejuvenation of Socialism acted with great bravery and resolve. The Western Direction of the Revolutionary Armed Forces along with the Southern Revolutionary Fleet and the Gothic Revolutionary Fleet were promptly mobilized in defence of our Srbjan brothers and sisters and an ultimatum was issued. The ultimatum condemned Burgundian imperialism and demanded the Burgundian Air Force to abandon Srbjan airspace by order of the Chagny authorities themselves. This, and only this, could prevent a catastrophic war. A war that would have engulfed and destroyed the entire world as we know it, including our beautiful nation which faced the combined forces of capitalism and imperialism, our last remaining allies showing no interest in coming to our aid. General Secretary Ratko Salatic commended his Burgundian rivals for the bravery of their actions, choosing the path toward stability and peace over that of imperialism and war. Ratko Salatic also commended the Central Committee of the Party along with the brilliant negotiators and diplomats that were able to keep up the pressure while giving peace a chance.

In a show of transparency the Central Committee also publicised the terms that were negotiated between the General Secretary and the Grand Duke of Bourgogne, Maximilien, themselves. "Both nations, without delay, begin to demobilize military forces. An agreement shall formally be made that neither nation will enter further aerial operations over Novo Srbja. Neither nation, formally or informally, shall enter troops into combat in Novo Srbja." The People's Government kept word as mere hours later it announced the demobilization of the Western Direction of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Southern Revolutionary Fleet together with the cancellation of the planned total mobilization. The Northern Direction maintains its mobilization in order to effectively remove the reactionaries in the North and purifying our nation from the crimson aristocracy that has plagued us for so long. As a sign of goodwill to the Burgundians the People's Commissar for External Affairs announced it would keep up the mobilization of the Northern Direction for no longer than the coming Summer. The military High Command deems that come Fall the mobilization will no longer be necessary as the last remaining pockets of reactionaries will be wiped out by then. Mainly due to the fact that most fighters took their last chance for amnesty after rebel leader Ratko Leninov was killed during a precision air strike. The Gothic Sea Fleet will also remain on high alert, as it has been ever since the Milesian Revolution escalated. People's Commissar, Colonel Dimitri Leninov, assured the Chagny regime that these measures are no threat to them or any other nation.

A middle-ranked Revolutionary Army officer from the front-lines told us in an interview taken by a local correspondent that, "The Burgundians acted just in time. The engines of our tanks were ignited and the weapons loaded. We were told the night before that the initial attack would commence yesterday around the noon, only two hour before the Burgundian agreed with the ultimatum. Thanks to our new brilliant leadership, we were able to avert a global crisis and liberate the skies of our Srbjan comrades!", Tank Commander Bodan Ulrjits told our local correspondent from the Belgarsk based Party newspaper 'Crno Jezero Istina'. We all share his view and must be thankful that peace prevailed, because all though we would have been victorious, it would have come at a terrible price.

NORTH PACIFIED
Northern Direction begin the first phase of a gradual and partial demobilization after last rejectionist warlord and his band of traitors are eradicated
Former General Petro Bovinovic and his self-proclaimed 'anti-revisionist section' of the KCWP has been liquidated, bringing a fragile peace to the North while we must remain vigilant for their benefactors in Calidia

Less than one week after the death of Petro Bovinovic, along with his closest advisor's and personal guards, in the Northern Blackwood Forest, the fully mobilized Northern Direction, Commanded by warhero General Vuk Dordevic, has declared the North 'Free of rejectionist traitors'. It was General Sergei Moravscik, himself formerly bound by honour to serve the heir to the Leninov Clan, who commanded the attack that finally quelled the self-proclaimed 'anti-revisionists' in their last Northern stronghold by means of an impressive air-strike closely followed by a mass ground offensive from all sides. The National Committee for Justice and the Rejuvenation of Socialism has expressed their grand desire for stability in the North and throughout the ranks of the Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party and the massive Revolutionary Armed Forces. The People's Government assured our local correspondent that despite there still being many arrests to purge the ranks from rejectionist scum, those who still reject the Great Progress of the 9th National Party Congress no longer have the military means to undermine the future of our glorious nation. The latter not only being the result of a grand northern campaign by General Dordevic, but also by the pressure that was put on the People's Socialist Republic of Calidia which was harbouring and supporting main Clan figures of various families and through various means, including military replacements and materials.

Indeed the formerly demoted General Sergei Moravscik has redeemed himself and has been reinstated with rank and status after joining those who rejected the great progress of the 9th National Party Congress out of a misguided and ill-informed loyalty towards his former benefactors in the Leninov Clan. The brilliant tactical operations headed by General Moravscik were matched only by the equally brilliant strategic oversight maintained by General Dordevic. The latter having personally petitioned General-Secretary of the Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party, Ratko Salatic, for the full rehabilitation of Sergei Moravscik after witnessing his skills, expertise and allegiance on and off the battlefield. Men like Dordevic and Moravscik are the foundations of our glorious nation in this state of economic, political and ideological rejuvenation. The type of men that all Kadikistani males must strive to become in order to best serve the nation that has given them so much. Strong, wise, hard and ready to die for their great nation and its dream of socialism. But women have made their mark on this glorious victory as well through leading female commanders such as Colonel Andrija Sertjevo and Major General Milica Vlorkatjev who both played decisive roles in securing various strategic points throughout this campaign. This along with the fact that many millions men and women did their part in ensuring the continuation of the war effort by doubling their quota's in their respective factories and mines.

The Editor-in-Chief of the overseeing Central Newspapers of Kadikistan has been given the noble task of thanking the Kadikistani people for enduring in the name of the National Committee for Justice and the Rejuvenation of Socialism, the People's Government and the Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party. For our nation will rise from this turmoil ever since the death of our Glorious Leader and multiply its awesome strength by tenfold. The latter being a personal promise by General Secretary Ratko Salatic.
