A Call for Peace [Attn: Justosia, Engellkin]

"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God. (Mt 5:9)"

His Holiness watches with great sadness the growing war of words between the Empire of Justosia and the Engellkin states of Westernesse. These words, these threats, can only lead to bloodshed and death. Recently in the Long Sea a similar conflict occurred and blood was spilled. The escalating tensions then should serve as a warning to those caught up in the current event.

"Put up again thy sword into its place: for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword. (Mt. 26:52)"

While this committee shall heed and consider the words of this Mainland Mystic to seek peace and avoid unnecessary violence, we are compelled to warn that if a ship from a Westernesse harbor or friendly port is sunk in the manner as occurred in the Long Sea: there will be no long inconclusive investigations or timid avoidance of repercussion. The Thaumanticans shall respond swiftly and without mercy!
