So as to honour our treaty obligations we shall attend this emergency summit. However, we do have to state that @

must, in the future, at least consult Her allies before making claims such as the ones which led to this heated debate. All nations, whether allied or not, have the right to traverse the straits which caused this dispute with military vessels, since the waters in question are not Justinian territorial waters but international waters. Justiza can follow the ships in question with military vessels but She cannot legally stop them or attack them. While we did take the Republic's side in this diplomatic exchange, Justiza's leadership has to understand that this statement was most reckless and has put her allies, us and Lauenburg in particular, in a very tough spot. It is most certain that Justiza's own international status has or will suffer from this debate and that our own government will find it hard to defend Justiza's stance in Parliament. Our Empire has always been an ally and a friend to Justiza, but we are also signatories to the Status Quo Treaty, so we cannot easily defend such a flagrant violation of said treaty. We shall remain faithful allies and loyal friends of Justiza, but we reiterate out request that Justiza moderate Her stance and not make such grandiose statements which could affect the whole alliance in the future, without consulting Her allies first, lest She place Herself in an indefensible position.
