As an extremely rough guide, here are my de facto and de jure claims as the Mazidian Dominion:

The Yellow "core" is our actual territory, and the white is stuff thats claimed that other players can also claim/occupy (such as the Vaquero Free State) but which we are holding diplomatic claims over. The white "zones" may expand to encompass all of the southwestern corner, in time.

Amusingly, it looks as if we are the "smallest" state on the map so far, though I hope we will be able to punch above our weight. Plus I expect the space to our west to be filled with smaller nations.

I’ve notice some changes in Scania and that may have me desire some slight changes in borders depending on the final map. Perhaps even drastic changes as Jyskerige’s geographic location in comparison to Østveg looks more continuous than prior.

As for the Occident, if Cantignia is going to be northern like I’ve seen, I’ll likely forget the Greenland idea. Lastly, with all the interest in the Occident, it seems like you guys are already out of space! I’m not even sure if all the players who wanted to go there have even put forward a potential plot either!

I know I haven't, but I probably won't for a second because I gotta figure out how to have great plains natives and mesoamericans while also making sure Arthalan remains the "Brazil" to Warre's "Portugal" at least as it was when Brazil was in the portugese empire, ie it is the more powerful one and centrr of culture now. Might just ask for some subcontinental island northeast of SoCRER/east of Beautancus to fit for Arthalan given everyone is trying to wedge together in a certain way and going far west doesn't fit Arthalan.

Depending on how things go, I might like to maintain some sort of "peace keeping" (?) mandate/looming presence in one of your frontier buffer zones (especially if there are ports). If we can work it to be mutually satisfactory and useful etc. Would certainly help to portray Beautancus as being a regional arbiter of truth, justice and the Occidental way.

For the part of my claim which overlaps with Mazidia we agreed that he'd have historical claims to that area but I would be the one that currently controls it.
