A Very Long Winter in Beira Alta

[Valkany]

The Valkanians drop a battalion of paratroopers near the mountain that Vokranof is hiding in. The paratroopers start moving on the mountain when suddenly gunshots are fired!
Paratrooper Captain: Vausekt! Kaleftahanent! (Quickly! Take cover!)
Valkanian Volunteer: Wait those are Valkanians! Maybe they're here to help us!
Valkanian Volunteer Sergeant: Seize fire yer cunts! Welcome friends! Are y-
Paratrooper Captain: Ephyra! (Fire!)
The Valkanian Paratroops return fire using their silences Sten Mk. II's killing most of the welcoming party at the cost of three of their own dying and two being wounded. The Paratroops continue their approach on the mountain. Suddenly the Captain signals them to stop.
Paratrooper Captain: There! Those are the AA gun nests our Intel told us about! All right here's what we;ll do, you three put on Volunteer uniforms the rest of you split up into four teams, two with the lieutenants and one with me. We;ll circle them and take them out quietly while your guys drug Vokranof. Remember, we need him alive!
The troops follow suit. In the midst of the night, with only a few campfires to guide them, they start taking the Volunteer guards down one by one using knifes. Then the three disguised men enter Vokranof's AA gun nest.
Vokranof: Hello there comrade- Wait, I don't remember your faces, who are you?
The three disguised men shoot Vokranof's guards while two paratroopers restrain and drug him using a syringe.
Paratrooper Captain: Nice and smooth. OK now take the injured and dead and regroup near our original DZ. after that we'll head for the designated evacuation zone.
The troops gather their dead and injured and start heading to the EZ, taking Vokranof with them.

 

[Portusgalia]

The 5 National Guard battalions started moving before the operation, the R 35s and the FT 17s always ahead of the NGs.They heard the huge noise all over the mountains... The next day the shots continued, and in the next day... They didn't know nothing, but they stoped and started observing the shots, and always giving communications that they where in the chase of Partisans. In the next morning, they spread throught the mountains, there was 3 days of shearch all around, in villages, forests, no shots, only dead men... What the hell, they look at each other, Captain José Patrão suggested to the other 5 captains:

Captain José Patrão: This is strange... This ain't the hand of God! All this men dead!

Captain Adolfo Rocha: Wierd... The Cazadores haven't called us, we haven't find nothing...

Captain Fernando Alvim: No damn news... Donno...

Captain José Patrão: Does Lisbon know this!?

Captain Fernando Alvim: Think not...

Captain José Patrão: So we are the heroes!

Captain José Barreto: I like the idea... *evil laughs*

Captain José Patrão: Lets just blow ammo in this hills, and scracth a bit the tank paintings, put a bit of dirt and blood on our uniforms and... HEROES!!!!!!!

They did so, they shoot at the tanks, they ripped their uniforms, and put has many dead Partisan leaders on the back of the tanks and went to Covilhã... Next day to Castelo Branco and they where welcome has national heroes for stopping the partisan uprising of Beira Alta...

 

[Valkany]

The Paratroopers split into two groups the first one head for the primary EZ taking their injured & dead and Vokranof with them. The second group headed by the Captain starts moving on the mountain that Avila is hiding in. Lisbon will pay Valkany good money for him and they'll probably get a share too so Avila is also a target.
Paratrooper Captain: The geezer is hiding in some small banker inside on top of this mountain. The tunnel leading there however starts here. Split up in three groups. The first group will enter the tunnels with me, we'll only use silencers and knifes. The second group will enter the tunnel network through one of AA gun nests we cleared. The third group will get disguised as Valkanian Volunteer troops and will move into the tunnels and head for Avila's office, claiming they have an important message for him from Vokranof, but he's injured so he can't get to him himself.
The troops follow the Captain's commands. In the third group keeps the guards busy while the first group takes them down silently, using silenced weapons and knifes. the second group meets with them near the final level of the tunnels. The disguised men walk to the office's door while the other paratroops hide in the shadows.
Partisan guard: Hello Valkanian friends, what are you doing here?
Valkanian paratrooper: We have a message for the Count.
Partisan guard: Oh really? What is th-
The rest of the paratroopers emerge form the shadows. They shoot three of the guards with silenced Mk. II's and kill the last one with a throwing knife. They make sure to pick up their knifes and the sells from their weapons, so they don't get exposed. They enter Avila's chambers.
Count Avila: What are you doing here?
Valkanian Paratrooper: Vokranof has a very important message sir, but he couldn't tell you himself because he got shot in the leg.
Count Avila: He got what?! Wait where are my guard-
One of the paratroops walks behind im and injects a sedative into him using a syringe. The dose was two times the normal one so he'll be sleeping for at least a day. They take the count with them to the secondary EZ.

The Next day a car from the Valkanian embassy in Lisbon arrives outside the Royal Palace of Portusgalia. Three men walk out of it. The Two wear military uniforms and forage caps, colored dark blue and yellow. They also wear gas mask with long tubes and bright yellow armbands featuring a blue cross on their left hands. Most definitely Elite Valkanian Internal Troops Officers. The third man is Lord Johann Odessof.
Crown representative: The Queen is currently busy sh-
Lord J. Odessof: Oh don't worry, just tell Herr Majesty this package is for her.
The crate was about the size of a human being, with holes obviously for air. Like the crates used by a zoo. However it was heavy, probably reinforced, and could only be opened using a key.
Lord J. Odessof: This is the key. In there there is a note with the bank accounts we want the money sent to. Among other things... Tell her majesty this crate is from a friend of ours in Covilhã. Her Majesty will understand.

The Lord and his men went back into the car and left the Palace's supply area.

 

[Portusgalia]

After a few minutes, a civilian car enter inside the Valkanyan Embassy, 2 men get out of it with at least four cases. They go to the secretary of the Embassy...

Adão Fernandes: We know that Lord J. Odessof is here, but don't worry, we be fast... Just deliver this to him! The Queen send her regards to Your Excelency!

It was the prize money for the airborn soldiers. Back in the Palace of Sintra... The Queen walks around the crate, their emplyees have taken to a big wall of the Palace...

Marquis of Ávila: Will you get me out of here!?

Queen D. Constança: Marquis! Aren't you happy to see me again?

Marquis of Ávila: You! What!? How dare you usurper!

Queen D. Constança: Game is over for you...

Queen D. Constança: To where all criminal go... To Jail, soon it will be a Guarda Real car outside, you are going with them for a trial... Don't worry Ilha da Elefanta is a nice place...

Marquis of Ávila: Where the hell is that!?

The palace emplyees take the crate outside. A Guarda Real police car came by the palace and took the Marquis of Ávila to the Intendência da Policia, he is put on a high security cell. He is the Nr1 Public Enemy, the state is thriving with this...

 

[Valkany]

In Zessionsford Emperor Demetrius XV has called for a government meeting.

Lord J. Odessof: It looks like the civil war in Portusgalia is over. And we got a lot of money. Also from what I heard a certain communist nation may be trying to organize an intervention in the Eastern Cape.
Emperor Demetrius XV: Nicely done as always. Keep me posted at all times.
Lord J. Odessof: As you wish.
Emperor Demetrius XV: This meeting is adjured, everyone may go back to their work.

 

[Portusgalia]

This rebelion was the last attempt of the Integralists to seize power in Portusgalia. Ávila is arrested, and in trial. Hundreds of partisans are dead, otheres run way from the partisan life. They had a great proof in this, it is impossible to tear down the Neo-Septembrist structures of power.

The government assumes now that the region is finnaly "riot free". Other storms gatherer in the horizon, this times in Himyar, the Neo-Septembrist safe hole.
