Open Access-Diplomatic Codes-Most Urgent
To the attention of the most esteemed representatives listed above, on behalf of the august organisations of the Trier Concord and the Council of the North,
We call upon you in this grave hour, to avert the still graver prospect of yet further conflict and devestation, and to come to Midweis and discuss a mutual and Honorable Settlement for Crotobaltislavonia.
We recognise that each nation has vested interests, and concerns about the escalating situation. We urge each government to come together, and seek a peaceful resolution before brother nations find tensions between themselves grow ever tighter.
We regret the speed with which chaos has spread, and the failure of our past efforts to prevent total war from breaking out. Nonetheless, we implore our fellow Gallo-Germanians to take heed and allow us to serve our time-honoured role as neutral mediators and hosts for this conference.
We played too loose a hand, and allowed the Rurikgrad Pact and the foolhardy Trivodnians to sabotage peace during the Crotobaltislavonia Crisis. It is clear that we all know that peace must be preserved, and we each seek to restore or maintain it in the ways we know are best.
I suggest that rather than act unilaterally, we put aside our differences, and try to set out some terms and conditions for how the post-war settlement should look like. If the Rurikgrad Pact win completely, it may invalidate our work. But I hope all nations will agree that in the event that that does not occur, or even if it does, that we as Gallo-Germanians should not bicker and fight over table-scraps, but share and co-operate to establish a status quo we can all find satisfactory.
We look forward to your response, and, we hope, your participation. We live in dangerous times, and there are enemies enough.
Faithfully yours,
Sigrid Vogt
