Ladies and Gentlemen,
with worry the Socialist World Republic and its new government in particular have watched the current situation in central Gallia unfold. The military invasion of Burgundy by Dominion forces has caused no small measure of concern in Deliverance and we intend not to sit by idly while the slavers and oligarchs from Roanoke to Henrietta bring more people under their thumb my means of sword and fire.
Negligence from past administrations leaves us in an uncomfortable situation, as we can offer less than we intend to and in particular can not risk any open confrontation. Yet, we hope that what we can offer in terms of material and organizational support can help to succesfully repel the invasion.
More precisely, the Socialist World Republic is immediately interested in providing surplus equipment to Burgundian forces and to deploy a secret detachment of officers from our military to help with training of troops, serve as military advisors and observers of the war effort. Further aid will be provideded as needed, should the war drag on and diplomatic efforts to contain the Dominion fail.
We hope this offer is deemed acceptable and welcome by the Burgundian government and that we can rely on your confidentiality.
