To supreme Pontiff, Bishop of Tibur, and Vicegerent of Our Lord and Savior on earth,

Isabella I, by the grace of God and by the will of the people, Queen and Consort King of Etruria, is happy to accept such a magnificent gift from His Holiness, Ioannes PP XXIII. This gift is a sign that the rift that occurred over cue centuries ago, between the Grand Duchy of Lars and the Holy See, has finally come to an end, making the meeting of the two Churches official in one.
