(Economic rp isn't exactly my forte but I can't just leave this blank anymore so this'll mostly be a general overview. Also won't be doing profit margins. Too much unless it ever actually becomes relevant to rp.)

Industry Leaders:
- Arms

A. Batista Archipiélagic Brazos Conglomerado

In 2015 the Batista Arms Corporation, largest in the western empire, merged with Reyes Arms Corporation, largest in the east. They kept the former's name as they were originally bigger, more profitable, had more name recognition, & more friends in Avalon. Headquartered in Barceltia. Their range is pretty much all arms. Except for current/next gen stealth fighter/bomber aircraft. Under Carlos II & the brief Nationalist 60 seat super majority in the senado, they enjoyed obscene tax breaks. Those have since been repealed for ones not as generous, but still more so than the imperial average. CEO is Miguel Batista. They are the main supplier to the Archipiélagic Imperio Militar. They manufacture ships too, however most imperial shipyards are in use for Tarusan civilian naval projects. They will soon open for international business acquisitions.

Specializes:

- Tanks
- APCs
- Small arms guns
- Artillery
- Mines
- Body armor
- Current gen conventional fighter/bomber aircraft

Alcohol:
- There are thousands of wine & spirits companies in the empire. Justosians like to drink. Mainlander or Islander. Justosian alcohol consumption is higher than the European average. Wine is most consumed. Followed by liquor, than beer. This would be one of the first industries to receive protectionism should that need ever arise.

Seafood:
- Predictably, seafood is one of the largest industries in the empire. Justosians consume roughly 50kg per capita annually. Seafood is the preferred food of a plurality of the population. Main fishing hubs are any imperial city that borders a sea or ocean. In the past, over fishing was becoming so bad that even prior Nationalist governments took action to protect some species. Amongst Shellfish, Shrimp leads. Followed by Lobster but that's more for the upper classes. There are thousands of seafood companies across the archipiélago. The empire's largest seafood distributors work very closely with its largest fishing companies.

Construction:
- The construction industry in the empire started growing at a faster pace towards the end of the reign of Carlos I. It exploded under his son & his rapid modernization & rebuilding program for the military. Under Carlos II's reign, light rail systems were added to every major city as well. Every city has its own major construction company or companies. Most are currently working under Tarusan contracts enjoying record profits & some secret government subsidizing. They usually work in close conjuction with the government for civilian infrastructure projects. Also closely with the military when anything needs to be built up.

State Ownership:
- In 1920, in the very same Royal Senado session that saw the Nacional Principios Law passed, so too was a law mandating that the government can only nationalize or heavily subsidize industries in times of national emergency. This happened most recently under Carlos II. Imperial government really only considers this for the arms industry & always undoes said nationalization. Because of this they don't feel they can be called hypocrites.
