His majesty's government is delighted to hear from the Commonwealth government and will be happy to ensure that the Engelsea and the Thaumantic will provide again an avenue for trade and the exchange of goods and ideas between Ebria and Prydain. Considering the current issues at hand, the government proposes an initial reduction of import tariffs between our nations by 50%, and will open the way for a total tariff disbandment and free trade between the two nations.

The Royal Navy will also begin patrolling the Thaumantic, Meridian and Engelsea at a higher intensity, to ensure that its immediate neighbourhoods are not to be threatened by the same pirates which are a scourge upon the Gothic Sea.

The government and people of the United Kingdom of Ebria, Nuoria and Hamrun salutes the peoples of Scania and Germania and wishes them well on their new political projects, especially in such a time like today, when the Polar Divorce is still being felt all over the world, and the Hansa, Metsamaa, Jysken and Ostveg are all going through a rebranding outside the Scanlaw.

The official policy of the United Kingdom has always been pragmatic and felt that realities on the ground always have trumped over ideological puritanism, hence why Ebria has enjoyed good relations with nations from the western hemisphere, traditionalist monarchies, and even Post-Delegationist polities.

We thus hope, that the current relationship between Ebria and Jysken-Ostveg and Metsamaa-Hansa will move towards a path of commonality and development, and for that, the government wishes to invite the representatives of Jysken and Metsamaa and their delegations to Valls to discuss the recent developments in the Gothic Sea and ways to improve transnational relationships between the northern polities and Ebria and even the Meridian Union.

The United Kingdom of Ebria wishes to push forward the candidature bid of the Commonwealth of @Remuria as a full member of the Meridian Union and asks the member states to cast their vote for the inclusion of Remuria into the Union. We believe that the Commonwealth raises up to the expectation of a democratic, developed and free state that borders the Meridian Sea and is a respectful and mature actor on the international scene, thus a perfect candidate.

The development of the Remurian economy shows that the Commonwealth is a developed nation which will become a great boon to the family of Meridian peoples, the membership easing the already existing great commercial traffic between Remuria and Radilo and Rheinbund, while also offering a boon in tourism for all the nations as Remuria would become a member of the family too. At the same time, we have concluded that the addition of Remurian universities will represent a great advantage to the variety of quality programs for the students of the member nations through the Union's exchange program.

In conclusion, the United Kingdom strongly supports the admission of Remuria into the Meridian Union and calls the member nations to cast their vote on it and state their support or their objections.
