Madam Lundqvist,

on behalf of the Government of the Constitutional State I wish to send a formal inquiry pertaining statements made in regards to your government's ongoing trade dispute with the government of the Republic of Bantyr.

Regarding this issue you expressed the opinion that the situation would have to be "handled in less diplomatic manners". I wish to inquire whether this means that your government considers the use of military force, either directly or indirectly, against the Republic of Bantyr acceptable. The Constitutional State insists that the two sides involved in the trade row settle their outstanding issues immediately, and is strongly disapproving of any moves that will further aggravate the economic turmoil the world economy has already been subjected to due to the policies enacted by the Republic of Bantyr and the Northern Council.

Yours Sincerely,
Hosokawa Asao

Sir,
On behalf of Prime Minister Lundqvist and the Kingdom of Suionia I can say with great certainty that the Suionian people are not preparing for war; however, our people are growing impatient with the situation as the nation of Bantyr does not wish to come to the table and it is absolutely impossible to remove the Northern Council embargo so long as our assets are not returned and/or the embargo upon the Northern Council is not removed.

As a result, since our nation is willing to come agreement and establish a solution to the problem, and their nation(s) are not, we are left with no diplomatic response in order to help fix the world economy. They have effectively held the world economy hostage. As a result, our government has explored the idea of military involvement in an indirect manner against the Celtic states to force them to open their markets or allow us compensation. The current plans are indeed confidential, but not agreed upon within the Government. As a result, no immediate action is to occur.

We are encouraged by the growing Oikawan interest in this matter which has long been a problem Europe has tasked Suionia alone to solve. A puzzle impossible to solve when our partners or in this case, foes, refuse to give us the ability to solve it. We hope that with Oikawan aid, we can solve this problem via a multilateral approach that can reduce the impact of this catastrophe at worst, or solve it entirely at best.

Med Vänliga Hälsningar,
Henne excellens Malin Enström
