The Aonach of the High Kingdom of Caledonia

The Aonach is the legislative power of the Kingom of Caledonia. Each member represents an electoral college of 110,000 citizens. It's history predates the modern period as it is seen as a successor of the Thing of the viking kingdom of Ostfjord, which it's base in modern Dun Eidyn. Under it's modern form it appeared during the Parliamentarian War, in 1701, when liberal forces under Aedan III mab Aedan took control of the country and defeated the absolutist Clan Munn.

Currently, the number of members of the Aonach has been reduced, after it reached up to 700 during the People's Republic in 1957. It was declared to be financially unfeasible and has been made more "efficient" first by reducing it to 300 members in 1967 and then to the present day 100 in 1990.

CONSIDERING the creation of the political union between the Country Party and the National - Syndicalist Party, the house recognises the creation of the National Union as a standalone and unitary party which now has a majority in the house.

UNDERSTANDING that after the by-elections Benadur Olivia mab Andras has faced a leadership election in the Country Party and that the results of the latter elections have brought Sean Morgan as the head of both parties, the mab Andras III Cabinet is thus losing it's support in the Aonach and with it, the legitimacy.

RECEIVING the list of nominations for the National Union for the new members of the executive, representing the Morgan cabinet and the Tribunal of Dun Eidyn stating their eligibility, the Aonach calls it's members to vote for the formation of the new government in it's proposed form, or to reject the current lining.

CONSIDERING the links between the Kingdom of Caledonia and the Empire of Loago as a bond created in a centuries long process of colonisation, civilising and developmental policies and seeing how much both the Caledonian state has invested for the construction of Loago as we know today, as well us seeing how much the Loagin peoples like the Wala and the Fante have progressed under the shining light of Christendom and northern Civilisation brought by the Caledonians.

UNDERSTANDING the need to provide for Loago not just as junior nation in a crown union with Caledonia, but as a real and integrated part of out great country, something that will help the immigrants of Himyar that have found a workplace in Caledonia by stabilising the laws of immigration and by seeing them as Caledonian citizens while also helping Caledonian companies to bypass the old tribal laws by applying the Caledonian civil and economical laws in Loago.

The Aonach is called to vote on the disbandment of the Empire of Loago and it's annexation under direct Caledonian rule under the name of "The State of Loago", as an integrated but autonomous region of Caledonia.
