We contact you to discuss a matter of strategic importance for our national security, that is the passage of two Shaeoiumlan aircraft carriers through the long sea on May 2019.

As our honourable friends might have heard, the Shaeoiumlan Defence Ministry has ordered the construction of two Nâhk-class aircraft carriers to a Larsian company not so long ago.
If the project goes on as planned, without any delays, the carriers will be ready for May 2019; the ships will then be entrusted to Sâh'li Navy officials and will depart from Lars soon after.
In order to avoid pointless quarrels in the already heated Gallo-German theatre, our government decided that all armaments on the carriers will be installed in Shaeoiumlan shipyards, thus leaving the ships unarmed.
Because of the obvious importance of the voyage that will bring the new flagships home, the Ministry decided, nevertheless, to take the necessary precautions.
It is for this reason that we contact you: to find the best way to assure a considerate yet decent protection to the ships, we would very much appreciate your nation's support.

The possible courses of action we have elaborated and ask you to consider are the following:

  1. A small fleet of destroyers will escort the carriers near Eiffelland-Retalian waters, the route will pass through the two main Retalian islands and between the Eiffellandian islands marking the end of the Long Sea.
  2. Following the same route as above the Eiffelland-Retalian Navy will escort the carriers. The escort will be replaced by the Sâh'li Navy once reached the Hamar sea
Please note that these are only preliminary proposals, totally open to debate; the Fàlthaikshadom would really appreciate if the Eiffelland-Retalian government could consider our request, and our government will welcome any proposal for a reciprocation of the favour.

We completely agree with this approach. We will allow the two carriers to pass through Eiffelloretalian waters. We advice for the part of the route that borders Serenierre to sail through Eiffelloretalian continental waters as much as possible. We agree with the remainder of the route.

As an answer on another part of your question, we think it would be better if our Navy escorts your ships while they travel through our waters. The situation between us and Serenierre is quite complicated, as you know. A naval escort from your side could be considered a provocation, dragging you into an unwanted war. So we would like to go for option 2.

I also have a question to you. Did you also order the planes that will use said carriers? If not, may I point you at the possibillity to buy those planes from our aircraft industry, ? They can deliver you fighter planes, helicopters, anti-submarine planes and many more kinds of planes that can land on and take off from aircraft carriers and that can contribute to your Navy.

I'm happy to hear your response, minister, the government will be very pleased to hear that your nation is willing to help us in this delicate operation.
The aircraft carriers in question are not fit for regular takeoff planes, therefore the planes produced by the mentioned company couldn't be used. Shaeoiumlan manufacturers in partnership with my ministry are already working on the solution, so we must, sadly, refuse your kind offer.

We understand the issue with the jet fighters offered by RRF for use on aircraft carriers. However, RRF also produces helicopters. Maybe the or the could be interesting?
