To the attention of the Rt. Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Empire of @Tarusa.
Honourable sir,
I have been instructed by the Prime Minister, Lord Sophokles Angelopoulos, to contact you regarding the possibility of a meeting between delegations headed either by us or by other accredited diplomatic representatives of our respective Sovereigns with a view to clarifying and improving relations between our two Orthodox Empires.
Recent months have painted a picture of an increasingly aggressive and domineering liberal democratic world, whose creed is no longer pragmatism and business, but missionary zeal. This has extended to a continued military presence by external powers in our surrounding region with a view to safeguarding the "democratic world order", in addition to a spiritual assault against our civilisation and Faith, which is epitomised by the recent heretical declarations by the Arch-Heretic John Joseph the Sodomite.
I must admit that Propontis and Kremlyov have not always seen eye to eye; indeed, many points of friction remain, and it will doubtless take some time for us to fully trust one another and to complete turn the page into a new chapter of our bilateral ties. Nevertheless, I speak to you with full honesty when I say that the Great Sovereign believes rapprochement with his Brother in Christ across the Basilisk Sea to be a necessity. Pelasgia has long pursued a policy of careful neutrality; yet, in this changing world, we must all consider the paths open to us, and there is no reason why the two largest Orthodox Realms in Europe should remain alienated.
I eagerly await your response and kindly request that you will accept my most heartfelt regards, along with congratulations on your recent accession to your office. Be so kind as to extend the congratulations of His Imperial Majesty to the new Tsar of Tarusa on his enthronment, along with heartfelt condolences for the cowardly murder of his most majestic father.
