FEATURE DESCRIPTION:
In the 1970s, Barranca born Andres Morillo(Axel Noboa) is conscripted and sent in the Golden Plateau to guard the haciendas from the attacks of the Rinocerontes terrorists. What follows is a culture shock between the life in the coastal republics and the inland, followed by the continuous increasing tension of a potential attack. The enemy, the Rinocerontes, are always there, but they are never seen. They are omnipresent. From the talk of the farm hands, to strange noises during the night and even the grass in the savanna being blown by the wind, everything makes Morillo ask himself when will the attack come. The movie follows his descent into paranoia and insanity, until at the final moment, he is recalled back and the attack soon follows.
