The many reforms outlined in the new constitution will take time to implement, however, the transition from Federal Republic to Confederation of States will be the quickest. It is expected that by Monday 14th, the states will have completely adopted the new powers given to them through the constitution, with the Confederate government officially relinquishing the powers the following Monday, giving a week long period of flexibility, should the states find themselves struggling with their new powers.
This constitution limits the involvement of the national government, putting emphasis on the state governments, with the national government only controlling departments that affect the nation as a whole; anything that can be decided on a state by state basis, will be. This leaves the national parliament with little to do, so in the interest of limiting fiscal waste, the parliament will now only meet once a week, unless in a time of emergency.
This new constitution also removes the special powers amendment added in by the Nemek family under the first constitution; these powers gave the Premier of the nation the power to dissolve parliament and enforce any law he/she sees fit. Called Article 12, these powers have been controversial from their conception, but had only ever been used twice, once by the Nemek family dynasty and once by former Federal President Mircea Novak, who used them to avoid standing down after a significant electoral defeat by a communist/socialist coalition.

Just hours after the election announcement, the President of the new ruling coalition government announced the creation of an advisory council to replace the 9th constitution. [/FONT]Stefan Nikolaiev, had been President for just 3 hours before announcing that the "republic is tainted and must be restored to it's former glory".
For those who have been under a rock for the last 2 constitutions of this nation, let us look into why the President would call our beloved republic tainted.
Only time will tell what will become of the nation, but there is one thing that we can all be sure of, President Nikolaiev is our last hope, if he fails, the Czkauvek project will forever fall into the dustbins of history.

- The National Council left in charge after the resignation of President Plevneliev took the nation in an authoritarian direction, removing rights and liberties.
- The Federal government was too centralized, causing ethnic tensions between the states.
- Of the original 15 states of the republic (the Nemek Dynasty), only Albania and Macedonia are still apart of the republic.
- Czkauvek completely ceased to exist during the transition between the 8th and 9th republics.
Only time will tell what will become of the nation, but there is one thing that we can all be sure of, President Nikolaiev is our last hope, if he fails, the Czkauvek project will forever fall into the dustbins of history.
