To the Honorable Leaders of the Gallian States,
I write to you all today on behalf of the President of the Republic, Bartolome Ordenes, in the spirit of constructing a pathway for the Gallian continent to enjoy a period of peace, cooperation, and economic prosperity.
Gallia is a continent rich with centuries of history with each of our countries collectively representing and retelling the story of hundreds of millions of people through the ages. As much as the nations of Gallia have been a beacon of culture, advancement, and civility they have nonetheless engaged in activity contrary to these values. Gallia has been at peace for as long as it has been in periods of strife and war. While Germania unifies under the Holy Tiburan Empire, the Northern Realms under the Democratic Defense Initiative, and the east of Germania under the power of Ivar; Gallia remains fragmented and at odds.
In the wake of the fall of Bourgogne, for whatever blessings are brought by the new governments forged by the consent of the Burgundian people or to the Aurarine Republic’s journey to undo the damage of a dictator, to the economic stagflation affecting others, it remains never clearer that while our nations are distinct, sovereign, and separate from one another - all of the continent stands to gain from cooperation and agreement amongst us.
In the spirit of renewal brought on by the New Year and in reflection that the strife that has plagued the continent in the past needn’t find its way into the next decade, the Aurarine Republic formally invites representatives from each of the Gallian Nations to a summit in the City of Navales to begin a dialogue on affairs that affect the continent and set ourselves on a path for peace and prosperity.
Undoubtedly the decision to have dialogue, to build bridges as opposed to walls, to extend hands as opposed to arms, will secure our countries’ futures. The Republic eagerly awaits the reply of its fellow Gallian nations.
All the best,
