Caeso Aroma, the Dux Mercator of Pejo wishes to visit @Vinedia .

He is bringing with him a present for the city. It is a huge statue of a dragon made of Jade.

The dragon is forty feet in length and thirty feet in width. The tail is six feet long and the neck is three feet. Its wings could hold a banquet on them and the eyes of the Dragon are pure gold.

The Most Serence Prince, Doge of Vinedia Ludovico Dandolo, will be pleased to host a welcome ceremony in the Ducal Palace of Vinedia in Saint Mark Square. The official ceremony, as prescribed by the protocols for foreign affairs, will be followed by a rich banquet and, according to an ancient Vinedian tradition, a present for the guest.

Caeso embarks from Quale after sailing from Pejo. He sails on a trading ship decorated with purple and silver jewelry through the Retalian sea and North passing Ardeche. After many hours, his ship arrives in Vinedia and a crane aboard the ship lifts the dragon off the ship with a platform attached to the bottom with wheels. Following the dragon he disembarks via the gangway which has been carpeted with red.

Vinedia and Pejo enjoy a centuries old relationship mostly based on trade. According to vinedian state archives, the first contacts between the two cities occured 658 years ago, when a vinedian merchant ship reached the city of Pejo with a load of spices and glass artworks. Vinedia has not changed in the last centuries, and neither has its pride. The old ways have been preserved.

Saint Mark square is covered in banners and flowers. The bells of the giant Cathedral of Saint Mark announce the arrival of the Dux Mercator, attracting ordinary citizens who quickly gather in large numbers behind the fences under the vigilant eyes of the the Ducal Guards. The square is silent. The Most Serene Prince, Doge Ludovico Dandolo, observes the ship as it reaches the square. He is surprised by the size of the statue and the quality of its making. Like a true merchant, he carefully observes every detail of the present brought by the Dux Mercator of Pejo.

When the Dux Mercator disembarks from the trading ship, the Banda Musical dei Fanti Da Mar (Vinedian Marines Music Band) begins to play an orchestral and epic version of the . As soon as the first notes are heard, Doge Ludovico Dandolo, in full regalia and wearing the traditional Doge's Crown, slowly and solemny walks towards the guest. The Doge is followed, in a double column formation, by fifty ducal guards dressed in a ceremonial uniform clearly reminiscent of the late 17th-Early 18th century.

Once he is close enough to the
guest, the Doge bows in respect.

"Pax Tibi peace to you, Dux Mercator. I see the people of Pejo have not lost their ancient talent in sculpture. What business brings you to Vinedia?"

Doge Ludovico appears to be young, but his austerity and his known determination makes him as respect as his predecessors.

The Dux Mercator bows in return and replies "Et Ad Te, Doge Ludovico. I have sailed from my home city of Pejo to visit the grand city of Vinedia, to present you with this gift and to discuss an interesting idea that has come to my mind recently."

"Your gift is most apprecciated Dux Mercator. It is proof the old ways and traditions have not disappeared, yet. We will provide you with a gift before your departure." says Doge Ludovico.

He continues, after a short pause "Ah the city of Pejo.. i've never visited it, but the accounts of centuries of trade and friendship between our two cities have shaped the history of the Retalian Sea are still jealously stored in our state archives". The Doge then slowly walks towards the Ducal Palace, inviting the Dux Mercator to follow him inside "So, what idea do you wish to discuss today?" he asks curiously.

"and as-long as our nations are together they won't disappear for a long time." Caeso replies "Indeed.", "I often look... up at the stars sometimes and see all these fancy theories on space and the planets afar. So I wonder, as a merchant duke of course, could there be money in it? Thus my idea, is that perhaps we should build fiery chariots so to say."
