If possible I think it would be cool that Kadikistan is somewhat divided between Germania and Touyou. In real life continents don't really follow national borders and I my RP plans for Kadikistan include playing a dominant role in both Germania and Touyou. This is just a request.

Dont stress over this. I just didnt feel like doing stripping and other BS effects this time around. My focus was on putting up basic information and rebuild the file. As we go forward more effects will be added and the map improved. It is a generalized, "This general area is called thus, and that one over there is called this, and over yonder is called that." So dont stress over the particulars.

In my personal opinion,

I think Lovisa's proposal on spot G10, with Bourgogne taking the larger northern portion and Lovisa taking the smaller southern portion, would look better on the map instead of the small strip for Fleur.

Plus no one is presently asking for it and there is no present demand for spots in the area so i'd have no problem with it.

So you two discuss here and then post an official request for the alteration.

Bourgogne Lovisa

I'd like to apply for an alteration. This alteration was previously approved in the older map thread and also had support of forum members with no opposition. As a result, I have altered some RP to better reflect the existence of a higher number of Twentish Catholics in Bourgogne and have put some RP in limbo until this issue is resolved. What I propose is that Bourgoge's borders be extended to meet Twente's. Previously, I suggested more of a partition rather than extension of my borders. While the proposed border probably needs some artistic improvement, I feel this is a reasonable request.

map is look cool. btw its a lot of restriction so Im not sure that i qualify again to be on map haha, but any way u mist my request so i put again

Location : G17
Name of Country : Lovisa
Capital :Atma
Location of Capital : in a first bay in west side of the spot near to Serreniere's border. locate in the same position on the bay like Trier in Eiffelland.
Pertinent Threads/Wiki :

As Bourgogne want to claim 3/4 of G10 spot rest of G10 will be merger to G17? do im right? will be perfect for me like,

thanks :)

No, I do not want to claim 3/4 of G10. Its the smaller portion, the portion bordering G17.....I would think that would be pretty obvious

If you wish to browse the previous conversation regarding this spot, you may find it located in the older map thread.

No i didnt read, my bad Justin. I still feeling that i lost here. Maybe coz i had a long absence here. sorry.
but this option is not that bad for ur country and for my one as well haha. ;)

No worries. I only wanted that narrow corridor for the sake of RP. I didnt want to destroy an entire mapspot.

Great work Taley. :)

May I spark a small discussion on the idea of taking this opportunity to sink Borea/Occidentia and the landmasses immediately south and south west of it? There isn't a single player (nation or colony) in that area, and given how big those areas are I cannot imagine it would be a tiny effort to put through a request to place someone or their colony there if someone suddenly thought it an RP potential. I really believe the map should be condensed to reflect the smaller number of players, Himyar too a little bit, after all, islands and continents can always be added later if it was demanded.

It would make the map appear more active, and aid you, Taley, with making changes here and there on the map. Also, if you want or need a team player for the map, let me know, even if to just cover you on an absence. I'm looking for something useful to do while I put some more ideas together on an RP idea. :)

Are there any objections to me expanding my spot into the Mirovic Ocean? Since there are no other players currently claiming either G21 of T1 I thought I could check with you all. And since T1 is already a very big spot I do not think the piece I'm asking for will be missed. The reason I'm asking for this expansion is evidently RP related. Without revealing to much: think Ural mountains, insurgents and lots of snow. I took the liberty of drawing out a proposal in paint:

I really don't think we should because in fact I am considering when I have enough power etc. that I will colonize parts of South Boria

But what exactly would be the point in a colony or two in Borea? There is literally nothing on that side of the map, it will just fracture RP potential even more, which is the point of my idea, to remove dead areas of the map to bring the 'world community' closer together for better RP potential. One thing that was quite apparent when I last RP'd here, as Engellex, was that players are least likely to engage with you IC the farther away you are from Eurodisney and that stretch of Northern Himyar.

Additionally, a new player might be put off by seeing a map that is, by majority, green. It suggests the forum is dead or dying, and they're certainly not going to stick around for long if they have that impression.

After all, Venia, if having a colony or two west of Eurodisney is how you see your RP going, islands can be added to the map to accommodate that without preserving huge, emptying landmasses.

I would not have any major difficulties with a smaller map, but I don't think it is a priority and honestly I tend to lean more in the direction of leaving it as it is. If green spots are the issue we can always place some npc's with a special label so they can still be claimed. That way the map would appear fuller, but I don't know if its worth the trouble.

I understand but I think we should really have a poll on it to make it more fair and maybe we could move Implarian up into where Borea is or alernatively just get rid of Northern Borea and keep South Borea and then move that closer to EuroDisney :) plus what if someone wants to RP the USA they have nowhere to go. But still it should be a poll

We had some projects for NPCs, but in general, the idea was frowned upon.

There clearly is no need for those western landmasses, otherwise there would be something on them.

On the American argument, the map wasn't supposed to be a reflection of the RL world, afaik, therefore a US style nation could easily put on Himyar or somewhere similar.

I do agree on a vote, and I would argue this is somewhat important, given the map motivates and inspires RP concepts and ideas - and therefore RP.

you seemed to have events and wars akin to RL
