If possible, I'd like to annex that island in the northern Lyric Sea. I'm honestly not certain which plot that goes with. In my news agency, you can see the beginning of what I have planned. Because my people tend to be fairly isolationist, I was thinking of running a lot of trade through that island. That way we stay connected without a lot of people coming into the homeland.

I would like to now formally apply for my position on the map. It will be a single city, named Echten, located on the southernmost point of Carinthia-Harkany's western coast. I have discussed this with C-H at length and we outlined our history together, which will be posted in my Factbook as soon as Bourgogne and I do the same.

I hereby wish to formalise my application, partially requested - I intended to wait and have some strong RP-elements up first, so apologies for the lack of story-line at the moment. Anyway,

The golden area forms the actual claim. The brown area is what I also imagined to be part of the Sultanate of Rashan, but it has been advised not to claim these strips of land. Considering the fact the three plots already granted to me are most welcome, I shall abide! ; ) However, if I enjoy the consent of the community I will somehow try some expansion RP-wise somehow. Also and important however, I somewhat visioned the brown two islands in the west to be Rashani territory which were to be leased to the Republic of Justiza through RP - cf. RL Hong Kong - as via the means of a Mutual Accord.

I am sorry but I really have no way of doing that right now. My paint does not act right, and I don't know how else to crop it. Just the southernmost point of C-H's west coast. I apologize again.

This is an application for two colonies, rather than an either/or situation. I am applying for them both now, as the storyline for each of them start from the same place.
EDIT: I've already started the RP involving these two entities, in The Dragon of the Levant.
The CAPUATINE REPUBLIC
The Capuatine Republic is not a colony, or even client state of the Levantine States, but will become a focus of Levantine political and diplomatic intrigue that could see the relationship between the two countries go possibly either way.
It is centred in the capital city of Capua, with other major urban centres including Malamocco, Treviso, Sinuessa, and the two islands of Trinacria. It is ruled by the Doxe de Capua, Bartolomeo Pietro Mocenigo, and has a similar legislative set up to the Levantine States - as Capua and Ancient Tibur were the role models for the Levantine States Senate and constitution. Capua is regarded historically by the Levantine States due to its contribution to the Crusade, and the direct involvement of its nobility in the conquest of modern day Tortessa and Zareptta. It also on the doorstep of Tibur.
I have more information for this, so there is a factbook waiting upon approval, as well as characters and storyline outlined to get the ball rolling for this proposed RP situation.

The HOMERITE KINGDOM OF MARMAR
The Homerite Hermit Kingdom of Marmar - a Levantine designation, as it is self-styled as the Sultanate of Marmar, is neither a colony or a client state but possesses a few characteristics of both within the Levantine-Marmar relationship.
Before the conquest of Homer Australis, the reach of the Sultanate extended beyond and surrounded the Lordship of Adelheidis. The Lordship and the Sultanate were locked almost in continual warfare for hundreds of years, Adelheidis surviving due alliances with Buregrava, Handrofed, and Sinnada. The formation of the Tiburan Republic States of the Levant ushered in the new era of cooperation and unity of the Crusader States, itself leading to the conquest of Homer Australis from the Sultanate, and the ascension of Buregrava and Adelheidis into the Levantine States. The defeat of the Sultanate, and entry of Adelheidis into the Levantine States, permanently changed the balance of power - the Sultanate greatly weakened, and Adelheidis permanently intervening into the affairs of the Sultanate through various means.
Through its countless interferences, the Lordship of Adelheidis acquired Estates within Marmar, those being Bilimandiarus and Zingida. They would be considered de facto colonies if not for the extraordinary relationship between the two states.
Political authority is centred in the capital city of Zangubaria, with Sultan Hamoud bin Barghash. The Sultan very rarely leaves the security of his walled estates within the capital, and exists as a sort of enclave of Islamic reach within this part of Himyar/Homer, surrounded by ethnically different Barbaroi peoples with their mixture of Tiburan Catholicism and their various pagan religions.
Zangubaria is a bit of a Himyari melting pot and a trading centre for the continent in the south.
I have referred to Marmar briefly in my last news post, to do with it agreeing to pay back a debt - the starting point for the storyline I would to go with this with.
