First Elections of United Krasnislavia
Several new faces in the people's political arena, Siamion Pronopovich elected President of the Krasnislavia USR

Kretyn - A glorious day for democracy as for the first time in over a century the people of Krasnislavia were able to vote on the same day and for the same institutions. While not encompassing the entirety of historical Greater Krasnislavia, a significant portion of that territory still occupied by the Elbener treaty-breakers, this enormously symbolical victory was celebrated with an unseen rejoice. The masses flooded the voting stations, especially in the recently liberated parts of Krasnislavia. Many citizens proudly waved their Party cards and their electoral notice letters towards the gathered local and all-union press as they exited their voting stations. The turnout for both the Federal and Regional Elections was an overwhelming 88.9%, almost double of the turnout during the era of the Rogue State of Trivodnia. This already being analysed as a sign of the Krasnislavian people formerly under the yoke of the Rogue State regaining hope through belief in the socialist institutions.

The People's Assembly of the United Socialist Republic of Krasnislavia, the legislative power, contains 150 seats. Because of a lack of consensus and a judicial unclarity there were two legal electoral lists partaking in the elections, unique in the Union. Before the unification the regional section of the All-Union Kadikistani Communist Workers Party in (Northern-)Krasnislavia was the 'Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party'. Upon the liberation of the south the welcoming Krasnislavians founded the 'Krasnislavian Communist Workers' Party', which was sanctioned by the former military administration of Southern-Krasnislavia and consists largely out of members formerly belonging to the Krasnislavian National Party and Polani Partizans. When Krasnislavia was formally reunited on the 23rd of June both Parties didn't have enough time to successfully merge. The Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party gained 68 seats in the regional People's Assembly while the Krasnislavian Communist Worker's Party can send 82 People's Deputies to the rebuild Kretyn People's Palace. Representing the population of the new Krasnislavian USR, the region has send 23 People's Deputies to the All-Union Supreme People's Assembly in Ivar.

The functions within the Krasnislavian Council of People's Commissariats, the executive regional power, were brotherly divided among both regional party sections. The Presidency of the Krasnislavian USR went to Siamion Pronopovich. A man who spent most of his life resisting the Rogue State of Trivodnia and became a leading figure within the KNP by the time the 7 Days War broke out. Out of love for his Krasnislavia and unrelenting belief in the teaching of Marxist-Leninovism, he fought in the war and commanded a militia made up of former KNP comrades. During the military administration the 58 year old himself and his militia were incorporated in the military, Pronopovich gaining the rank of Colonel in the Revolutionary Army. During the electoral campaign it already became very clear that the popularity of Pronopovich was extraordinary. No doubt that the berets filled the air in the Litsk Army Barracks, were the Colonel is stationed, upon receiving the election results.

Victory Marches in Ivar, Kretyn, Amstov, Rakvere and Banja Luka
Victorious divisions of the 7 Days War parade around in the capitals in all-veteran marches

Ivar | Kretyn | Amstov | Rakvere | Banja Luka -
Besides celebrating people's democracy through the process of elections in the Unified Socialist Republic of Krasnislavia, celebrations took place throughout the Free East to commemorate the One Year Anniversary of the glorious victory of the People's Armies in the 7 Days War. Indeed even in the smallest villages across the Kadikistani Union soldiers, workers and farmers gathered in festivities with an overwhelming sence of pride in the achievements of the Kadikistani Union and the advancements of Marxist-Leninovism. However, in order to attend the largest festivities one had to travel to one of the capitals of the Rurikgrad Pact members or the Free Canton of Crotobaltislavonia. These capitals hosted large military parades with all the troops on display being veterans of the short but intense war. Even those in Ivar were detatched from the Union's bravest divisions.

The parades were exclusively made up of aviation and ground units with Amstov being the notable exception. The Polesian capital is the only one with the luxury of bordering water, the Polesian Sea. There, in Amstov, two commandeered former Trivodnian missile ships along with some coastal guns fired several short ranged volleys in Western Direction, a recurring conduct of defiance against recent external deployments in Germania... Continental Protection Force embarks on peace-keeping mission in Burgundy
Germanian nations united in their resolve to halt the ruthless Thaumatic expansion into Gallia

Belgarsk - It has taken a common enemy displaying a most ruthless and sudden performance of military slaughter combined with a total lack of diplomatic ability to unite the responsible nations of Germania into formulating a joint response against the unilateral aggression from the League of Four Nations, shortened as the 'Domain', in war-torn Burgundy. A response that ushers in the first time that all Germanian nations, safe for the rogue nation of Lars, will collaborate with the common goal of protecting peace, stability and ending the hardships suffered by the Burgundian people. During the Pax Germania Conference hosted by our glorious Union in the city of Belgarsk a joint military operation was called into light as the 'Continental Protection Force' [CONPROFOR]. The latter has since established a temporary Joint Military and Humanitary Command between members of the Rurikgrad Pact, the People's Republic of Ostmark, the Council of the North, the United States of Salen and the Kingdom of Eiffelland-Retalia. This Joint Military Command will exist alongside the long established Pact Unified Command and other older joint security efforts.

Flag of the Continental Protection Force as proposed by Comrade Horst Grasser from the People's Republic of Ostmark and accepted during the Pax Conference
The Kadikistani Union has so far contributed two Motor Rifle Divisions to this joint security effort seeking to relief the suffering Burgundians. Both of these divisions, the 3rd Guards Motor Rifle Division under General Yuri Zukarov and the 17th Motor Rifle Division under General Ngapoy Ren, took part in the 7 Days War and provided support during the Reactionary Northern Insurrection. They will receive support from the extended 4th Air Defence Corps, currently operating over Crotobaltislavonia, Polesia and the Krasnislavian USR. These veterans led by decorated war heroes will form a barrier against further Domain incursions into Gallia while also bringing peace to the Burgundian lands where various factions have been infighting the past few months. There is little doubt that two of the most honourable Kadikistani commanders and their elite forces will contribute greatly to the the re-establishment of stability.

Understanding the potential repercussions from the increasingly unpredictable Domain armies the Western Direction of the Revolutionary Armed Forces has been called to mobilize. There is also a gradual mobilisation of the remaining military districts across the Union and abroad. The continental must form a fist, that much is certain. Any test of our resolve shall be answered accordingly. (more on pag. 2)

We confirm that we will take part in the CONPROFOR peace corps, with two brigades consisting of 9000 people each.

There is one remark we have to make: We got the confirmation from the Government of the Grand-Duchy of Lars that we are allowed to transport our troops and material to Chagny-Bourgogne through Lars. This does show the willingness of Lars to contribute to stabilising Bourgogne.

Preparation in the capital in full swing for the upcoming historic Party Congress
Workers and soldiers labour six days a week to prepare Ivar for the 30th Party Congress in January

Ivar - More then usual the streets and buildings of our glorious Capital have been decorated with flags and banners in preparation for the historical 30th Congress of the All-Union Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party. The atmosphere is both festive and disciplined with local workers labouring tirelessly to set up the massive infrastructure while the soldiers in close cooperation with the National Directorate of Intelligence make sure the security is solid and unbreakable. Clearly Ivar is preparing for the 'festival of democracy' in a way that shadows previous editions and underlines the great historical significance of this years' Party Congress.

Historical indeed given the importance of several points on the agenda. Some of the hot symbolical topics such as the 'Flag Question' and the 'Name Question' had caused some brotherly divide within the Party that the Central Committee under First Secretary Sergej Moravscik demands to see resolved in order for our glorious Party to close ranks once again. This also means that after years of debating, with strong points raised on either side, the All-Union will finally determine the direction of the federal state with either more liberties given to the respective Socialist Republics, a continuation or even gradual de-federalisation.

The People of the All-Union wait in great anticipation of the outcome of the 30th Party Congress, which will also see various foreign leaders in attendance. Some of the most esteemed guests being none other then Horst Grasser, Yaakov Zilberfarb and Bernard Lavosnier who will stand besides our leaders during the military parade traditionally held after the Congress is resigned.

Comment from Vitaly Ptushkin, Candidate for 1 January 2020 Presidential Election:

“As President of the Fiannian Federation my first order of business would be to end the unpopular and inhumane six-day work week in favor of five. That it exists here and in my own ancestral homeland is frankly gross and disappointing . . We can do better, and we will do better in 2020!”

Radical Youth League publicly announces its proposal for the All-Union flag
After 20 months of internal debate, regional votes and various amendments, the Youth League has succeeded in establishing a singular proposal for the Flag Question

Ivar - The crowd grew thick today in front of the Pionneers House as the leaders of the All-Union Section of the Radical Youth called a press conference which besides regional and national media also gained the attention of several sanctioned international media agencies. Along with the various media outlets several hundred members of the Youth League had also gathered in uniform to support the announcements of their elected leadership. At exactly 4 pm today 30-year-old Marko Kerovski, Chairman of the Youth League, immediately followed by the 27-year-old Vice-Chairman Hongma Zhu walked towards the improvised stage and addressed the masses with great determination and strenght.

"Comrades, today marks the end of nearly two years of intensive labour. Two years of debating, discussing, persuading and creating. Two years of paving the way to a brighter, inclusive future. Today I can say on behalf of the All-Union Radical Youth League that our organisation has succeeded in reaching a consensus concerning the infamous 'Flag Question' which has been allowed to strangle our internal policy-makings for far too long. At last and with great pride I announce to you our organisation-wide accepted proposal for the new All-Union flag, to be put before the All-Union Party Congress the end of this month." As Kerovski finished the last sentence of his opening statement the curtain behind him rolled down to reveal the Youth League proposal for the new All-Union flag.

You must be registered for see images

Both the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Youth League continued to explain how their proposal came to be. The first phase of the process started only several weeks after the All-Union Central Committee announced its intention to organize a Union-wide flag debate in Februari 2017. This step consisted out of gathering potential proposals from all corners of the massive All-Union. Youth League's Vice-Chairman Hongma Zhu stated that the centralized All-Union Section received no less then 18,000 proposals which were screened, then categorized and after providing the needed room for debate eventually voted. Rayons, the smallest Sections of the Youth League each elected their preferred proposal, after which the Oblast-scale organized 'Flag Committees' selected their own champion. The latter were then gathered by the Regional Youth League Sections of the respective 25 Socialist Republic's and two Special Districts of the All-Union. Eventually and after months of debating each Republic was able to dispatch their preferred bottom-up proposal to the All-Union Section based in Ivar with the Executive Committee of the Youth League which made the final call with a unanimous vote required. A fine example of direct democracy.

Most Chapters of the Youth League had already loudly voiced their preference for a more inclusive internationalist flag rather then the historical national flag that has prided the All-Union until now. Though even within the radically progressive circles of the Youth League there remained a significant opposition with many of them seeking to maintain the current flag or at most change the official meanings of the flag's colours. For a long time a simple red flag seemed to be the one with the most chance of success, but to reach a consensus the Executive Committee of the All-Union Section decided to add the official name of the Kadikistani Union in Kadik. To appease opposition from regionalists and internationalists within the ranks the flag will be flown with the Union's name in the respective language of the region in which it is flown. So while the Kadik language will be used for all official matters on the international stage and in the Republics with a Kadiki majority, the text on the flag will change to the dominant language in its respective Socialist Republic.

This flag is expected to cause a heavy, but healthy and constructive debate during the upcoming All-Union Party Congress. Those seeking to expand the autonomy of the 25 Republics have already largely issued their support for this flag, while the Old Guards have already stated that a flag change is out of the question.

Esteemed Comrades and Friends,

The Nethian Revolutionary Association proudly places itself on the side of the Radical Youth League and in solidarity to the peoples of the world, suffering from the injustices of unbridled capitalism, political chaos and oppression and ossified serfdom. For this, we see great Kadikistan's brotherly and revolutionary peoples as one, united in their goal and scope, toiling daily to create a model nation for us all do see and follow.

We cannot but support the move of the RYL to see the creation of an internationalist flag for Kadikistan, a nation that isn't only the homeland of the Kadikis, but of other, more than fifteen peoples in total. Such a change will not only make them all feel included and represented, but the avantgarde design and the dominance of the socialist red colour cannot but make us see how the new banners which we hope will soon wave over Ivar are infused with socialist radicalism and political effervescence.

We hope that all this will make the great Lion that is Kadikistan wake up, not as it did in the 7 Day war, but rather as it was during the days of Nikolai Leninov, when it was actively aiding the peoples of the world emancipate and liberate themselves, representing, back in 1955-56 nothing more and nothing less than the country that stood as a shining beacon of liberation, solidarity and socialism.

Red Salutes, comrades from Ivar and good luck at the congress, we hope that we will soon see the red banner fly high.

Signed,
The Collective Presidency of the NRA

Viktor Leninov to propose amnesty for Revolutionary Clans during Congress
The Old Guard Special Political Committee commence rallying support the extremely controversial Amnesty Question

Ivar - While the ties between the Old Guard Special Political Committee and the deinstitutionalised Revolutionary Clans have been a public secret since the First Great Compromise of 1964, the Amnesty Question was never officially pushed forward in All-Union politics until now. Earlier today Viktor Leninov, grandson of Nikolai Leninov's youngest sister Iva and Chairman of the Old Guard, announced to his fellow People's Deputies in the All-Union Assembly that after careful consideration and internal debate within their sanctioned Party section they have decided to put the issue on the already heavily filled agenda of the 30th Party Congress. This move came to some surprise within the rest of the party, the Central Committee of the All-Union Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party refusing to comment on the content of this latest motion while confirming that it is within the democratic right of the Old Guard to put it forward.

Besides the already societally incredibly significant Flag Question and Name Question a third 'major Q' has thus entered the frey. With copies of their motion send to all state outlets The Proletarian was able to examinate the content. The name does speak for itself. The motion starts by stating the tremendous contributions to the revolution that the Clans have given in the past along with their 'relentless' efforts in establishing socialism over the decades. Following this word of gratitude a very elaborate listing is made of every Clan that is deemed worthy of rehabilitation according to the Old Guard. If the motion is passed the public sphere will once again open up for the Revolutionary Clans and their activities no longer deemed illegal. The motion doesn't go as far as re-institutionalising the Revolutionary Clans to the level before 1957, but opponents have already stated that if the motion passes the second rise of the Clans is only a matter of time.

It is no surprise that the treacherous Tsjekovites and their Subclans are not mentioned on this list. In fact near the end of the document a clause is included that increases budgetary spending for the Penal Commission within the watered down National Committee for Justice and the Rejuvenation of Socialism responsible for destroying Tsjekovite remnants not only domestically, but also abroad. The latter being a significant change in politics for the otherwise purely nationally focussed Old Guards. Analysts have deemed their reference to abroad as a way to appease the internationalist and increasingly significant Radical Youth League.

Many specialists have already called this year's Party Congress to be the most important one since the age of Nikolai Leninov and Ratko Salatic. We all look forward to this with great hopes, the greatest democratic spectacle in the world.

Pelasgian State
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Public Statement

Propontis, 20 December 2019

The Government of Pelasgia condemns the statements made by Vice-Chairman Hongma Zhu of the Youth League. Any statements, policies or attitudes which seek to jeopardize or otherwise upset the delicate balance of peace in Europe, as guaranteed by and set out in the Status Quo Treaty, are dangerous and highly negligent.

The Status Quo Treaty has saved Europe from the chaos of war numerous times in the past, and one can only fathom at what a state of doom Europe would find itself were it not for this tender understanding between Propontis and Ivar.

We will attribute the apparent flippancy of these statements to the brashness of youth, and hope that more mature and temperate voices will prevail in Kadikistan's foreign policy. Pelasgia remains committed to cooperation with our Kadikistani partners.

The People's Federal Socialist Republic of Kadikistan and its Proletarian Government wishes to assure our most esteemed Pelasgian partners that our administration remain committed to the Status Quo Treaty. Indeed this almost sacred treaty has been the foundation of stability in the Hamar Sea Region and has spared countless lives in avoided conflicts. Never has the All-Union broken a treaty and despite instigations of the Radical Youth League we never will.

Long may our partnership reign. Long may we protect our common interests. Long live the enduring stability provided within the framework of the Status Quo Treaty.

LONG LIVE THE TRANSCONTINENTAL SOCIALIST FEDERATION!
Leading Cadres of the Youth League announce the radical solution to the 'Name Question'

Ivar - Members of the Radical Youth League across the All-Union rejoiced this morning as their elected Leading Cadres announced the results of long and hard internal intellectual labour. As we all know we have three major 'Questions' that have caused a societal rift within the glorious All-Union. Our answer to the Flag Question was already announced two weeks ago with the proposal of an internationalist socialist flag rather then the current national flag which illustrated the outdated and exclusive nature of Slavic dominance. Today the Radical Youth League has once again shown itself as the mass-movement who dares to be innovative and questions the established order. Today we announced the next step towards a true People's Union with a proposal that will deviate from the existing options and push the debate towards a more progressive and durable solution.

Until now the Name Question has been one that reflected the debate between those in favour of a strong centralized unitary rule on the one hand and those seeking further autonomy for the Socialist Republics on the other. The distinction between these two brotherly camps was largely lost on outsiders when first confronted with it. Regionalist oriented fellow Party members put forward the motion that the current name, People's Federal Socialist Republic of Kadikistan, should be changed to the People's Federal Socialist Republics of Kadikistan. The only difference with the old being the plural 'republics', reflecting an increased emphasis on the Socialist Republics, rather then the Central Proletarian Government in the Ivar Capital District. Naturally the Radical Youth League is more ambitious.

After long and often fiery debates in all local Youth League Sections it was decided that the next generation would seek to abandon the name 'Kadikistan' all together, safe off-course for the historical Kadik region and the partially organically grown, but mainly artificial Kadikistani language. Chairman of the All-Union Section of the Radical Youth League, Marko Kerovski, explained in his speech before the House of Pioneers that while he does not seek to undermine the great heritage that comes with the name Kadikistan he does agree with the majority of the RYL membership who have the strong belief that many of the people's that enrich our glorious All-Union feel excluded by its name. A name that much like the current flag is rooted in the outdated idea of Slavic dominance over the country. These arguments aren't new, but the efforts made by the Central Committee two years ago with the first federalisation to accommodate them, changing from 'Kadikistan' into the 'Kadikistani Union', were half-measures and anything besides durable.

"The superior proposal of the Youth League..", Chairman Kerovski said earlier today, "is one that will last throughout the ages!" The crowd cheered watching the 30-year old charismatic Chairman make these bold claims with the internationalist flag proposal waving behind him. "As ambitious as this generation is, so too must our Great All-Union become. We look back at the glorious past in the 1950s in awe, but not with nostalgia. We will go further, we must do better!". While the cheering increased several members of the A-RC Red Guards increase the atmosphere of militancy by firing a few controlled shots into the skies. "There was a time when our people stood ready to emancipate the working class in every corner of of the world. A time when we actively aided the oppressed and exploited. A time when our massive nation was a beacon of hope for all those living under the shackles of capitalism and its many bastard offbreeds." The strong Chairman raised his left fist, quickly followed by his comrades behind him and in the crowd. "Follow the Youth League, Comrades! Together we will send shock waves across the world. Together, and this I promise you, the Red Flag will wave over Gallia, Scania, Germania and Touyou! From the Silk Sea to the Western Thaumatic shores, one name shall accommodate all. Long live the Transcontinental Socialist Federation! Long live the unity of the working class!"

Hats, helmets, bullets, but most of all fists filled the air. It was clear for everyone that a new dawn is upon us and upon the world. Those who have laid easy, feeding their own greed with the sweat and blood of the international working class, we will come for you.

The All-Union mourns, First Secretary Sergej Moravscik is dead
The 30th All-Union Party Congress commences with the tragic news that we have lost a great leader

Ivar - By the words of Vice-Secretary Vujadin Mihajlovic the Central Committee of the All-Union Kadikistani Communist Workers' Party, the Council of People's Commissars and the All-Union Party Congress announced with profound sorrow that the heart of the inspired continuer of Rurik and Salatic's cause, the wise leader and teacher of Party and State, Sergej Ljubomir Moravscik, has stopped beating. According to Vice-Secretary Mihajlovic our great former leader deceased in the peace of his sleep on the eve of the 30th All-Union Party Congress. Being Moravscik's right-hand, serving him and the revolutionary cause through better and through worse, Mihajlovic was at his side when it happened and assured the 4,800 People's Delegates amassing in the People's Palace in Ivar that 'Comrade Sergej' didn't suffer. The news of his demise sent a shock-wave across the grand halls of the People's Palace and will no doubt do the same in every corner of the All-Union along with shattering the hearts of comrades worldwide.

Despite this tragic news it was announced that the All-Union Congress will continue as scheduled to honour the legacy of the First Secretary. Moravscik was known as a resolved and highly efficient worker and there is little doubt that he would have wanted the socialist labour for the glory and the benefit of our Great All-Union and its people to continue despite this enormous tragedy. We must take his exemplary efforts and teaching and make them our own. We must continue the good work and not allow ourselves stagnation. The latter would dishonour the great legacy left by one of the strongest leaders that this glorious nation has ever known. Indeed may he rest in the same halls as other great leaders, Andrej Rurik, Nikolai Leninov and Ratko Salatic.

It was also announced that the 30th All-Union Party Congress will be halted only during the State funeral of the First Secretary which will be held Wednesday the 8th of January in the Mausoleum of People's Heroes and broadcasted life on all State channels. Besides the leadership of the All-Union various world leaders are expected to be in attendance including, but not limited to the Rurikgrad Pact, Crotobaltislavonia, Ostmark and Pelasgia. A summary of his many achievements for the advancement of the working class can be found on .

First Secretary Sergej Moravscik was a titan amongst men and the Polesian People's Republic owes a huge debt of gratitude to the Kadikistani leader for his firm stand against unconstitutional aggression of the criminal Kahnemann regime. Without the victory of Kadikistani and allied forces during the Seven Days War, under the wise command of Moravscik, taytsh (Yiddish) and Krasnislavian Polesians would still be trapped together in the rotting corpse of the so called Free State of Trivodnia. Now we have peace, prosperity and socialism. Our deepest condolences to the Kadikistani people. Rest in power First Secretary Moravscik.

Yaakov Zilberfarb
Premier of the Polesian People's Republic

Pelasgian State
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Public Statement

Propontis, 4 January 2020

The Government of Pelasgia offers its sincere condolences to the people and government of Kadikistan for the death of First Secretary Sergej Ljubomir Moravscik. First Secretary Moravscik was a man with profound vision who saw the need for peace, stability and cooperation among the peoples of Europe to build a better future for their descendants. Though we did not always see eye to eye with the late First Secretary, we had the privilege to work him him on many an occasion, and found that his resolve and skill saved the world from great calamity numerous times, and made a better place in a host of other ways. May he forever be remembered for all that he contributed to Kadikistan and to Europe as a whole. Having only today lost our own Chief of State, Marshal Evangelos Sakellarides, to a terrorist attack, we can sadly relate to feelings of grief of our Kadikistani counterparts. The Pelasgian State will most certainly be represented at the late First Secretary's funeral, to honour the passing of a great man and a great friend of Pelasgia.

Signed and sealed,

Nikolaos Chrysopoulos
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Government of Pelasgia

On behalf of the People's Republic of Ostmark i express my most heartfelt condolences for the passing of First Secretary Moravscik. Today the world lost one of the protagonists of the workers' struggle against capitalist oppression, a hero of the working class, and Ostmark lost one of its most sincere friends.

By the powers bestowed upon me by the people, First Secretary Moravscik is hereby awarded the Golden Star of People's Friendship and the medal of Hero of the People's Republic of Ostmark, which i will personally deliver during the state funeral. Vizekanzlerin Andrea Grasser and Vizekanzler Ludwig Bohmer shall also take part to the ceremony.
