Commonwealth Police Service (CPS) Name Gunman
The CPS have confirmed the identity of the man the Rosewood Hotel shooter has fifty eight year old Colla Baye.

Baye worked for a employment agency that supplied temporary & seasonal staff to the catering industry. He had worked a few shifts has a dishwasher at the Rosewood Hotel before but wasn't working that night. Hotel staff said that he entered the building through the service entrance with a duffel bag, when questioned by staff members he said he was called in last minute by the kitchen manager.

Gemini International which was providing close protection officers to the event have confirmed that one of their officers who is a foreign national has died in hospital after receiving gunshot wounds to the chest. A spoke person said they "thank the officer for their years of service & dedication to the company
and that Foreign Relations & Trade Office is currently working with Gemini International to ensure the officer's relations are informed."

The CPS are still investigating the motive behind the attack, Baye wasn't known to the security services nor had a history of psychotic or reactionary tendencies.

Doctors say Pàra Glas will make full recovery
Little River Medical Centre plan to discharge Glas in next few days but the Liberal Party worry that their leader will not be fit enough to run for his seat this upcoming election.

The Party only are running for a handful of seats with hopes they can become kingmaker for the Progressive Democratic Party.

A small peaceful protest outside the Ministry of Domestic Affairs over some people misgivings over the CPS handling of the case had be quickly shutdown by the police after it was hijack by violent reactionaries.

Rosewood Hotel shooter has no reactionary or criminal connection

The Minister of Domestic Affairs has said in a conference with the police Commissioner Llwyd Belvin that the Commonwealth Police Service shall be ending their investigation soon after a lengthy and inquest into the events leading to the Rosewood Hotel shooting. Describing what happened a tragic case of undiagnosed psychotic illness leading to senseless violence, stating.

"I have complete confidence what happened is a one off incident and unrelated to the wider political climate or any kind of reactionary plot of social destabilisation in the run up to the election."

Soon after speaking the Minister allowed Commissioner Belvin to state that there had been two deaths resulting from the shooting, one being a hotel staff member and other being a close protection officer working for Gemini International. All relations of the dead have been informed and that the Commonwealth Police Service send their condolences

Announcing a complete renewal of the security plans covering election campaigning, the Commissioner said that the Commonwealth Police Service will be in contract with all parties to ensure that they receive the best advice on personnel safety but stop short of providing close protection for the Liberal Party & Traditional Union, stating;

"Close Protection is the responsibility of the CPS's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Unit which is only offered to those entitled to Parliamentary privileges which at the present both parties' leaderships currently do not have."

The Commissioner did later stress that Gemini International as the private security partner would be communicated with at all times.

Members of the CPS's Special Operations Unit guard Sandycroft international airport

Security Services end hostage situation

A joint operation carried out by the Commonwealth Defence Force & Commonwealth Police Service leaves both hostages & hostage takers dead but Police Commissioner Belvin has stated that the threat of a wider chemical attack by the terrorist has been dealt with, in a press conference soon after the airport was secured, he said.

"Eight men calling themselves members of the Dark Harvest Commandos, have been killed during a rescue attempt carried out by a specialist team from the Commonwealth Defence Force. With great sadness I must say the twenty hostages were murdered by their capturers, after tireless negotiating with the group in order to free the hostage unharmed. They started to executed their hostages when their self imposed deadline neared, that is when I authorised the rescue attempt."

The Commonwealth Defence Force have captured the nerve agent sarin from the dark harvests commandos and are currently investigating its origins.

The Prime Minister will confirm later in a special broadcast whether the nation wide curfew will still be enforced, at present the Department of Education & Child Services have said schools will be closed until Wednesday, the Celtic Rugby league match between The Free Nightingales & The Wild Badgers is postpone.

With new & developing threat of chemical weapons used by a terrorist group within the Prydain Isles.

The Foreign Relations & Trade Office will be possibly opening its door for the first to the European Forum.

To whom it may concern,

The Pelasgian People's Republic is most saddened by the tragic news of the massacre that occurred in at Sandycroft. We condemn this needless and unjustified barbarism in the strongest of terms, and remain committed to bringing its perpetrators and authors to justice.

CPS's Public Order Unit
Drunken mob of unemployed youth riot
Commonwealth Police Service are called by housing estate residents after a gang of forty youths started playing music and taking heavy amount of alcohol & drugs, it is believed that a known drug dealer in the area set up the street party. Fighting broke out after a local father believed that the gang of youth were trying groom his fourteen year old daughter whom they fed alcohol.

The father was beaten on the ground before some residents believing a police response wouldn't be fast enough took the law into their own hands and armed themselves with metal poles & cricket bats. Lucky the father was taken away to safety before he suffered from serious injury, when the police finally arrived four cars were set a light and the entire housing estate turned into a scene of street brawling.

A resident that didn't wanted to be named told CBA.

"I support the nation wide curfew but it has handed over the streets to the dogs, I work night shifts at a factory, I have definitely
seen more girls working the streets that look same age as my niece alongside junkies roaming about."

The Commonwealth Police Service have said that the situation was brought to a end in the early morning and that they have opened up multiple investigations.

Pàra Glas Speaking to Reporters outside Little River Medical Centre

After spending over two weeks in hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound he suffered during the Rosewood Hotel shooting, Glas is back running the Liberal Party shadowed the whole time by a small army of close protection officers, he paid tribute to Adam Nicolotis the close protection officer that died during the shooting, he said.

"I own my life to Adam, he worked for the Liberal Party's security team for three years, he was loyal & hardworking there's nothing more I can say."

Questioned on the rumours that the upcoming May election may face a six months delay after the Sandycroft airport massacre, he said.

"I was sleeping when the deputy leader phoned me to tell me to turn the TV on in order to watch the news, I am deeply sicken by what happened.
It turns my stomach twenty people murdered in cold blood. Now we have a possible terrorist group that has access to chemical weapons, the government has completely gone dark on the matter. I have spoken to someone who was directly effected by what happened and they tell me they face radio silence from the police. I demand fully answers from the security services & armed forces, what were their operating procedures & did it lead to the unnecessary deaths of innocent people?"

Rioting carries on into the third night.

"We have lost control" admits Police Chief of Powys district, has riots rages on.
Police orders all resident living in the Powys district to stay indoors because of wide spread civil disorder, the disorder believed started after a teenager is stabbed to death which is believed to be linked to a on-going gang war.

Violence related to the drug trade & abuse have sky rocketed since the nation wide curfew with many senior police officers telling CBA anonymously that emergency services are over stench. High ranking officers of the Commonwealth Defence Force are resisting pressure to allow mass deployment of troops to assist in resorting public order because they believe their presence will only heighten tensions.

Dawn raid leaves one police officer dead

A raid on a flat linked to the Dark Harvest Commandos was booty trapped with explosives resulting in the entire property being blown away. Fourteen members of the CPS's Special Operations Unit were seriously injured in the blast with one officer dying in hospital from their wounds.

The Ministry of Domestic is currently leading the multi-organisational investigation into the Dark Harvest Commandos, the Ministry is facing sharp criticism from the Department of Defence and relations of those killed at the Sandycroft airport massacre, many are upset by the lack of communication from the Commonwealth Police Service. While the Department of Defence believes that the threat of chemical weapons means that the Commonwealth Defence Force should be leading the investigation due to their specialisation in dealing with Biological & Chemical warfare.

Liberal Party Leader, Pàra Glas becomes the biggest winner by gaining title of deputy prime minister after tense coalition negotiations

The Democrats gains majority support of the Tynwald after negotiations last to the early morning with the Lord Protector giving all parties in the Tynwald 72 hours to come up with a creditable path to functional government or face a second election.

The Liberal Party made their intention known early on during the election campaign stating they believed there wasn't any possible chance of winning enough seats to form a minority government let alone a majority one. Making strange bedfellows with the Traditional Union only common factor between them is both being exiled in 1952. Both parties heavily invested their campaign war chest in paying for the services of polling companies and creating a joint public communication team.

With the Traditional Union getting worse results than expected thanks to the stronger showing for the Democratic Labour Party, the party only gains itself one cabinet position that of Paymaster General which its leader, Jak de Rais shall hold.

De Rais nearly torpedoing any agreement over opposite to any type of change to the Protection of the unborn act (1927) and creation of anti-discrimination law that covers gender & sexual identity, stating that it will be against the Traditional Union moral core & deep betrayal of the party's membership faith.

Progressive Democratic Party, 103 seats
Democratic Labour Party, 91 seats
Liberal Party, 16 seats
Traditional Union, 10 seats
The new make up of Tynwald requires the Democrats to win the support of the Liberals & Traditional Union which will leave any government created with a majority of one. With all three parties being from across the political spectrum any possible policy programme will be built on weak foundations. It is not a surprise that the Lord Protector's office is watching what is currently unfolding with such a close eye, the current Prime Minister Quine been given alongside his cabinet a caretaker position for up to six months if needed.

The Democrats have accused Lord Protector Wyddfa in collaborating with Labour to continue one party rule.

Quine have labelled the suggestion as baseless & inflammatory that will increase the risk of political violence we have witness the last year, saying;

"We have a hung parliament and has before in the history of Tynwald, the ruling party from the previous session of parliament may step in a caretaking role while a suitable government is formed, this ensures the smooth continuous management of public services that all citizens rely on."

Harris Cabinet is formed
Democratic Party leader, Dywel Harris becomes Prime minister-designate after Lord Protector grants permission for his coalition cabinet to be formed, which is the only first step in the process in the beginning of a new session of Parliament with its opening dated the third of January.

Even with his victory Harries warned in a press conference that there are those that are still plotting against any moves towards a peaceful civic society, where a ironclad code of ethics would be followed by those who wished governorship.

Harris Cabinet as it stands,
Deputy Prime Minister- Pàra Glas ,Liberal
HM Treasurer- Dai Jeffries, Democrat
Domestic Affairs Minister- Muireach Catan, Democrat
Foreign Relations Minister- Tàmhas Cèamp ,Democrat
Defence Secretary- Rhys Wren, Democrat
Education & Child Welfare Secretary- Griffith Pierce, Democrat
Health & Social Care Secretary- Dywel Gwynne, Democrat
Economic Development Secretary- Yann Jullou ,Liberal
Commonwealth Services Minister- Donnan Coic ,Liberal
Trade Secretary- Tujan Moisan, Liberal

Traditional Union has no position in Harris Cabinet but as part of their confidence and supply agreement its leader, Jak de Rais shall hold the title of Paymaster General and all its MPs are excluded from a three line whip when it comes to any vote deemed to threaten the party's "unquestionable Christian faith."

It is understood that the coalition agreement will only last eighteen months.

Market reforms, digitalisation of public services & future proofing the Defence Forces

Outside a promise of a transition to multi-party Representative democracy, the coalition government program has three main aims;

Market reforms- The Democrats being a spilt of the Labour party, they no longer rely on the Trade Union Congress for funding and are working on a compromise between the social corporate system a bedrock of society since the 1960s and the pro-free market push favoured by the Liberal Party.

Digitalisation of public services- Government information being kept on floppy dishes, application for a permit from the local council having been done on paper and then handed in-person to the office. All three parties agree in order to improve productivity in all areas of society, all public services should be accessible digitality and ageing IT equipment to be upgraded. The agreement states that core-public services such as the police, education, health & social care will be first to have all aspects of their respected departments to be fully digitalisation with all other government departments to be done by end of this decade.

Future proofing the Defence Forces- A conscripted army using aging equipment, vessels & aircraft of the air force and navy who spend most of their time warehoused due to lack of skilled engineers and parts needed no longer being produced.

One of the red lines of the Traditional Union is defence spending originally demanding a yearly 30%in defence spending government to fix the problems mentioned. At current time the final increase in defence spending is undecided with the Liberal Party heavily pushing for a capped to be placed on spending for law-enforcement & defence till 2032.

Green Free State: The Rise of the Private Police & Narco-state

You must be registered for see images

More than six decades after the country was granted self-autonomy within the Commonwealth, a sense of insecurity persists in daily life in the Green Free State, and access to the public good of security has remained astonishingly unequal. In face of overstretched law enforcement , affluent neighbourhoods are adorned with nine-foot cement walls, expandable steel security gates, and armed guards. Even the state itself employs private security officers, hiring private guards to patrol the public transport network and carry out land evictions. Private security in Green Free State is like a snake eating its own tail, as the government itself invests in the firms that are undermining its own authority.

The size of the private-security industry in Green Free State is staggering: There are over three private security guards for every one public police officer. And that’s a conservative estimate, including only those guards who are officially registered and deemed active by the Private Security Industry Authority (PSIA). Despite the fact that white Free staters make up only around 10 percent of the country’s population, they employ private security at much higher rates. According to an annual survey conducted by the PSIA from 2003 to 2017, around 60 percent of white Free Staters hire private security firms, while only 5 percent of black Free staters do so.

Within these private security companies the racial divide repeat themselves. Long low paid shift work such as manning gatehouses outside affluent neighbourhoods & patrolling the public transport network are done by unarmed black free staters who receive little training as well as dealing with verbal & physically abuse daily.

In comparison those registered with PSIA as a private armed security guard are 85% white, these armed guards primary assigned to protect business of all types within the city centre of Llyn Bochlwyld. Only 5% are black and 10% are Paʻumotu.

You must be registered for see images

Outside seasonal work in agriculture & tourism, the next best option for unemployed black free staters is to become drug runners and low level enforcers for the half dozen street gangs who are in service of Chief Watihana, the biggest cocaine producer in the world.

Operating out the slums in the east of the Capital, they mostly become couriers on the island's many smuggling routes or organise prostitutes rings. Rest of their time the gangs are busy fighting each other or will be used by Chief Watihana to bulk his numbers up when Paʻumotu villagers club together to force out cocaine production off their land.

The two other urban settlements of the Green Free State are lose collection of shanty towns over run by street gangs, where there is no access to public services and mob justice rules. Only escape for people living in the shanty towns is to sign up to recruitment agencies that send them to work overseas months at the time and charge high fees, leading to many of those trapped in debt bondage.

So far the Chief Minister, O'Phelan would rather forces on developing Llyn Bochlwyld's commercial district & dinning rich white Free stater donors.

Armed Forces, employement law & tax reforms are top agenda

The Harris Cabinet announces three bills will be tabled in the new year that will see the end of national service for males over the age of seventeen which are part of wider armed forces reforms that see its structure become slimer and more adaptive.

A new flexible hours employement contract will be allowed, certain rights such as paid holiday will not be appiled but a higher wage will be guaranteed.

The ending of a progessive capital gains tax system and creation of one rate that will be pegged to the lowest income tax band.

It is understood that all the coalition parties have agreed that these three bills are planned to be passed & implemented by end of their eighteen month agreement but if unforeseen circumstances delay the bills, they will become part of any future government program that involves any of the three parties.

Traditional
Union leader, de Rais (left) Deputy Prime Minister Glas (right) during coalition negotiations

With the newly elected government drafting its first series of bills to be tabled at the Tynwald, a collection of such vast ideological differences would find it hard to push through a wide-ranging policy program without butting heads and within the self-imposed eighteen month deadline.

Starting with Prime Minister Harris, leader of the Democratic Party leader who served as Permanent secretary to various government ministers before becoming a MP in 2004.

Depty Prime Minister Glas, born in the Holy Frankish Empire due to his grandparents having to flee Prydain in the sixties to avoid becoming political prisoners, is a former wealth manager for various banks in Vrijpoort with it being reported his highest bonces being six million Manx marks.

Traditional Union leader, de Rais was deemed too extreme by the Archbishop and stripped of his priesthood in 2003. Something he hasn't let go of since but it was either that or being stripped of his citizenship.

No surprise there are already rifts, with the liberals & democrats standing on a platform of guiding the Commonwealth towards social liberalism primary on removing the de-facto ban on abortion and restrictions on public sector jobs for LGBT people & women both groups are barred from the defence force, with the latter allowed to join the Women's Auxiliary Defence Service, a token organization that runs programs teaching women how to protect & tend the home front.

De Rais made it loud & clear that any move to try change the status quo of church centred community life would be a non-starter in negotiations.

It seems the Liberals & the Democrats ditched their former plans in exchange for de Rais dropping all the Traditional Union defence policies which according to unconfirmed rumours it was part of the party's ultimate plan of tilting towards the Pressburg Pact.

It may seem the Liberals & Democrats come off as soul mates. The Liberals vanguard of democracy & civil liberties, Democrats spawning from delusion of their former party's dark history of societal repression.

It is not so certain Harris & Glas would stay friendly for so long. Harris already forced Glas to water down his economic program of deregulation of several industries designed to maximize productivity & drawn in foreign investment.

Harris and the Democrats seem keen to remove the tools that allowed the worst examples of societal repression to happen under their former party but the current economic framework they will not derive far away from.

The government being mediator between the trade unions & employers alongside taking direct control of industries deemed vital to the national interests shall continue.

The independence of said mediation have been questioned by investors who have since been slow to put money in the commonwealth after the ending of the planned economy in the mid 80s, as well as various employers and the smaller trade unions.

All agree the current system benefits those networked with the TUC's Executive committee, the department of Industry & Sovereign Investment Council.

Those friendly with the groups stated above gain taxpayer backed zero interest loans, lighter plenty for workplace regulations violation and quicker settlement to industrial disputes.

The most blatant example is when a group of workers at a textile factory went on strike in 2003 after they rejected the pay offer negotiated by their TUC shop steward. Their dispute was based on low pay but also fire safety; all workers that carried out the non-TUC back strike were sacked and blacklisted.

An H & S inspector from the department of industry blamed the now black listed workers for breakage of fire safety.

Crìosd a popular high fashion designer who contracted the textile factory to produce material for his summer collection, is a major donor to the Labour Party.

Leaks showed a representative from his fashion brand spoke to the department of industry at the time.

Crìosd denied any favours took place.

Common ground between all three parties is to change the current system of cronyism within the economy but none of them can fully agree on whether to just reform for more transparency or completely gut it & start again.

Lord Protector & Prime Minister discuss plans to defuse fishing tensions in the port of Hectorios.

Boats ramming it each other over prawns & drunken brawls in port.

Tensions have led to a crew member on a Manx flagged fishing vessel being airlifted out at sea in order to receive medical care, after what the fishing crew claim a flare gun was fired at their ship's bridge by a Cyrenian fishing boat hitting the watch keeper and causing a small fire on board.

The company that owns the vessel has confirmed a crew member is being treated for burns and the vessel is currently in port while they assess the damage.

It said that it will not comment on the incident but are expecting a criminal investigation to be carried out by the Commonwealth overseas constabulary into the matter.

Harris & the Lord Protector will be communicating with the Cyrenian Embassador while the government sends Commonwealth Services Minister Donnan Coic to the island in order to try to bring a sense of calm.

After reports of brawling in the port of Hectorios between drunken groups of Manx tourists escaping the harsh winter back home during the Christmas season & Cyrenian island residents

The Empire is distraught to see the news of the recent events which have taken place in the Greater Zestos Sea, between the Islands of Hectorios and Hagios Andreas. We will again request the Commonwealth of Prydain to respect the international accords and not extercise in further imperialism, such as exploiting ancestral Cyrenian resources, outside of the occupied Island of Hectorios. The relations between the Empire and the Commonwealth hang in the balance and are kept floating only thanks to a mature take on such events and on a lack of provocations from both sides.

The Imperial Coastal Guard has started an investigation and after interogating the Cyrenian fishers, they have reported that a Manx thrawler has entered the Cyrenian economic exclusive zone, approaching a Cyrenian fishing vessel and not changing course, nor responding to hails, hence the firing of the flare gun.

We will continue the investigation and will hope that such incidents will not repeat.

Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Prydain's Office

To Loukas Antoniou,Minister of Foreign Affairs,

Initial investigations carried out by the Commonwealth overseas constabulary have established that the Manx trawler had the required permits ( which fall under our shared fishing access agreements) to sail and fish in licenced areas in the Greater Zestos Sea before the inidenct.

Assessment of the ship's GPS have shown it stayed within the mentioned areas, the company that owned the vessel says it is common practice to sail within a half of a natutial mile of the Cyrenian economic exclusive zone, this is done for operational reasons but they do not undertake any fishing within the zone.

The ship's crew have claimed when questioned by the Commonwealth overseas constabulary that the ship in question had followed their vessel while harassing them within the shared license fishing areas, due to weather conditions and partly incompetence they by mistake ended up in the Cyrenian economic exclusive zone.

Afterwards when preparing to leave the Cyrenian ship started to sail towards them at speed, they radioed the ship to warn them that they were on collision course and requested them to change.

The Cyrenian ship didn't respond to any lines of communication, in order to protect the safety of the crew, the captain ordered that a fire horse to be used as a last ditch attempt to persuade them to change course.

In response a flare was fired at the bridge from the outer deck of the ship.

After causing injury to one crew member and a small fire on the bridge, the ship left the area.

The Prime Minister would like to stress that the investigation into the inidenct is at the early stages and will not comment on the allegations by both parties until the full facts are established.

He also likes to say that himself & Lord Protector are working to ensure the balance of peace you spoke of is preserved.

That is why Minister Donnan Coic is currently on route to Nea Polis to carry out a fact finding mission to see that the local ruling authority is rerespecting the international accords we both rely on for our diplomate relationship.

As always the government of Prydain appreciate your understanding & patience towards matters related to the Commonwealth protectorate of Nea Polis.

Signed

Commonwealth Services Minister lands in Nea Polis as a rally is held overnight in support of Manx fishing men

Many of the late night clubs, bars & restaurants shut their doors early as a large number of around a thousand people marched from the port of Nea Polis to city hall.

The crowd waved Manx flags and carried signs mocking Colonel Hatzigiannis the dead former dictator of Cyrene, the crowd was shepherd by the members of the Commonwealth Overseas constabulary who were cladded in riot gear and had a helicopter high above circling.

Earlier during that afternoon when the Manx fishing men involved in the incident were taken to a police station for questioning, a smaller crowd numbering about twenty fuelled by rumours & wild speculations, armed with crude blunt weapons gathered at its entrance.

No one was hurt but an unknown ringleader informed the station that they wouldn't leave till the fishing men were free. An hour later the men were let go and the crowd gave a type of hero's welcome to them.

Tensions between the two communities are always high this time of year when the winter fishing season comes to an end & the island's tourism industry's busy season.

A flare up of this kind hasn't happened since the late 2000s, the height being riots caused by a Cyrenian resident being arrested over allegation he sexual assaulted a young female tourist.

They were released without charge but an angry mob burnt down his house which led to tit for tat violence for days afterwards.

Cross community violence had faded itself out two weeks later after one million Manx Marks was caused in property damages.

From our correspondents in Nea Polis Minister Donnan Coic has landed on a island of egg shells, the government says he is there to "bring in a sense of calm"

It is more likely he is there to have strong words with the Governor that being Lord Gough last of the Manx aristocrat. He has been Governor since 1962 before serving as Major in the Elizabeth's Own Dragoon Guard, deployed during the Nea Polis emergency and staying afterwards.

Local public services are managed by the island's local councils while foreign affairs, defence & law enforcement is directly controlled by the government in Prydain.

The Island's Governor represents the Lord Protector and ensures sound governance. Lord Gough seems more interested in the many facilities catered to tourists and turning a blind eye to cross community violence.

Senior police officers of the commonwealth overseas constabulary seem be only ones doing the job of keeping peace between all the communities living in Nea Polis.

Possible de escalation after Minister
meets faith leaders

A memorial honoring service personnel that have died in conflict, has been defaced with red paint besides this the public statement by Minister Donnan Coic and faith leaders have brought at least a Christmas peace with a march being held by the Silvershirts called off.

It seemed the cost of that is making boxing day or st stephen's day a three day public holiday and continuing the island wide ban on alcohol sales till New year's eve.

Commonwealth overseas Constabulary have arrested a local teenager for damaging the war memorial, they have doubled patrols in Nea Polis and reinforced rural police stations with more officers.

It is understood units from across all policing districts in Prydain are being flown in by the Commonwealth Air Force, speculation has been a company from the 501st Division would be sent to support the Elizabeth's own Dragoon Guard who are based on the Island and on standby to support law enforcement.

Minister has pushed back at the idea of having soldiers undertaking any type of policing role, he has said when questioned on the idea.

"I can say with certainty that having heavily armed troops on the ground in the environment at present is like throwing rocket fuel to a house fire."

Deputy Prime Minister Glas personal finance under scrutiny from the senate committee on public safety

Glas hasn't hidden the fact his fortunes come from bounces and stock options given to him during his time at various wealth management companies.

As a sign of good faith during the election campaign, Glas transferred all assets into a management fund controlled by a trustee, he claims this reduces any conflict of interests due all assets being based in foreign markets.

The Senate Public Safety Committee chairman has said that Glas must hand over all his financial history to be audited or face being barred from public office.

Presenting a serious challenge to the coalition government who haven't presented a bill to the Tynwald yet.

Prime Minister Harris has been in talks with the Lord Protector and the committee chairmen both have been unmoved.

The Senate have said that the new era of mass populist democracy must be guided by the precedent set by the 1932 Tynwald that ensures fair & sound governance is carried out at all times.

Shared services during midnight mass pass without incident

Father Kontou of the Cyrenaic Orthodox Church & Father Mower of the Tiburan Catholic Church hold an open air midnight mass in Royal Isle Garden, a minute silence for those that been killed in global conflicts is also held.

A general message of peace & hope was spread to the crowd, who numbered eight to ten thousands. Security arrangements were tightened with many of the park's entrances closed off and search lanes set up.

Among the familiar black & white uniforms of the commonwealth overseas constabulary, the three hundred police officers from Prydain were seen by their district numbers shoulder patches.

Compared to the number of the crowd, the number of police officers was low with the majority being used in the city center as many people unhappy with the ending of the Christmas season two days early were holding illegal street parties and raves in the luxury apartment blocks that dotted the waterfront.

Around hundred people were either arrested for drunken disorder or sent to hospital for suspected alcohol poisoning.

Within the coalition cabinet voices are rising in concern over the Prime Minister's handling of the ever evolving situation.

Report from Omer Pierrat, sports correspondent

Match officials and local law enforcement were hoping a island wide ban on alcohol sales would had least quashes the thirst of violence during the game between ASA Nea Polis & Omonia FC but fighting had already started hours before kick off.

Ultras of both teams had met in prearranged locations in back lanes and old industrial waste land, fuelled by coke primary due to forementioned alcohol sales ban. Many fans turned up to the stadium covered in blood & mud, security staff manning the search lanes won't dare push back the mobs that appeared at their feet. It explains way so many flares and other prohibited objects were in the stands.

Some credit to the stadium management and Commonwealth Football & Rugby Association (CFRA), the Leo International stadium was neutral ground alongside having a crowd capacity of 45,000 it allowed plenty of room to handle 15,000 fans from both teams that were allowed a ticket.

Troubles had flared five minutes before kick off, ASA Nea Polis were put in the north stand and Omonia FC in the south, long lines of match day stewards and security officers positioned in the west & east stands. Fans from north & south stands had worked there way across to the East stands leading to confrontation, around twenty fans were ejected.

It is believed that the CFRA were looking to suspended the match but were advised not to by the Commonwealth Overseas Constabulary believing trying escort 15,000 fans that felted cheated were be nearly impossible without more police officers on the ground.

A announcement was put out over the speakers informing fans that the game would be suspended due to crowd safety fears and the stadium management requests everyone to take a seat when the match started.

The crowd were relevantly calm until a few early penalties were given away from both sides, at first plastic cups and coins were thrown onto the pitch which turned into flares and bits of chairs from the stands.

A lines man was strake on the head by the various objects thrown into the pitch and was knocked to the ground it was then the match was suspended at the ten minutes mark. Feeling nothing to lose both the stands came alive with great animalistic noises by now the fans had broken their way the security barriers and invaded pitch. In a almost a clock work fashion dozens of police officers in riot swamped the pitch after a untold number of flash bang grenades were fired into the angry mob.

All the stadium staff were evicted as the Commonwealth Overseas Constabulary tried to contain the tilde wave of senseless violence within the stadium.

As of time of writing the CFRA have started a internal investigation into the lead up of the match while the Commonwealth Overseas Constabulary have said they are looking into alligations that members of the stadium's crowd safety team took bribes in-exchange of allowing fans to take in prohibited objects.

Glas on his way to hearing with the Senate Public Safety Committee

So far Glas has been quiet to media in Prydain choosing to refer to the press realeaes by the coalition spokesperson when questioned on any matter during his daily bike ride between his home and office. The first time he step foot into the Tynwald was to face questioning by Senate Public Safety Committee over his personal wealth, our sources close to him have stated he had no issues with the Committee but is annoyed that he has been left in the cold by the Prime Minister who has spent the new year with the Lord Protector and small group of confidents.

Outside a phone call wishing Glas merry Christmas & a happy new year both men haven't held a face to face meeting since creating a policy agenda.

The opening of parlimaent coming this Monday, all members of the Cabinet must show a united front to show domstic & international audiences that the new era of multi-party democracy brings stable leadership.
