El Presidente stood in front of the entrance to the palace with a manner of majestic statesmanship in his iconic, brilliant white suit complete with fedora, the splashes of color from his skin and the presidential sash with the Josefino colors draped over his shoulder providing stark highlights to an unforgettable, unmissable man. He was flanked by Vicepresidente Gabriel Morales and Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores Demetrio Verdugo, both with much duller charcoal-grey suits and Josefino flag pins on their lapels, ensuring that he remained the focus of attention for the press that swarmed the front of the Palacio Presidencial, the cameras rolling and snapping photos every moment they got, for this was an important occasion.

He would be meeting heads of state and other high ranking officials from fellow Occidentian countries: @Corrientes, @Gran-Occidentia, Implaria, and the recently reunited Monterrey, to discuss the potential of a road map to integration of these former colonies, the purpose of which being to present a united front in terms of economics, politics, military, and society with a world around them getting more dangerous by the day. It was going to be challenging, as distrust remsined high, but the priority of El Presidente was to impress upon those assembled that their internal squabbles could be put aside, in order to prevent exploitation and war from abroad, and that these international affairs could no longer be ignored. Plus, it would be a massive boost to El Presidente's popularity and prestige, being able to reunify a continent divided for centuries, and who knows where that would eventually lead.

He smiled broadly as the first car of the first delegation began to drive up. The show was about to begin, and he prepared himself to welcome each arrival with the appropriate level of pomp and circumstance.
