Copa Mundial
In cooperation with the Royal Football Federation of Ebria, the Football Federation of Corrientes issues the following invitation to the national teams of: Monterrey, @San Jose, @Pelasgia, @Gran-Occidentia, Caria, Implaria, @Remuria, @Auskighinee, @Radilo, and @Rheinbund, to participate in a football tournament celebrating the Tiburanidad, the community of Tiburan nations in the west and the patrimony of the old Tiburan Empire in Gallo-Germania.
The matches will take place in Callao, Rio Verde, Rivadavia and Villa Unión in Corrientes, in Puerto Florida in Monterrey, in Palmira, Antioquía, Costa Ron and Villa del Sol in San José and in Cabo de la Paz and Canipolé in Implaria. Transportation and hosting will be organised by the local football federations of Corrientes, Monterrey, San José and Implaria. Security will be assured by the state institutions of the aforementioned states. We will mention that profits from the tournament will be donated the charity organisations aiding the refugees in Occidentia. We hope that this cup will continue with other editions and that alternatively, it will be organised by the Occidentian states one year and by the Meridian Union in the next one.
We hope that all invites will be accepted and all aforementioned teams will make the trip to Occidentia, to show the world, that in a continuously more divisive and violent world, bridges can still be built and people can still come together.
OOC: This will be a short and quick limited football tournament for national teams. With twelve teams, we will go directly to knockout, but with a twist. Teams will be paired and they will play two matches and two wins both or if they both win a match, the one with but better goal ration goes forward. The same will be done for the 2nd stage, until there will be 3 teams remaining. The three will play each other once, and the one with the most victories or better goal ration wins. I will roll on discord the match result with a 1-12 scale: 1 means big victory for team A, 2-4 means victory for team A, 5-8 means a draw, 9-11 means victory for team B, 12 means big victory for team B (big victory as in a big goal difference, like a 3 goals or more). After the dice deciding the winner, I'll roll again for how many goals each had. As @Auskighinee did for the Challenger cup, I decided to bring RP into it too. The way it goes as said before is the default scale. Should a player RP, I will alter the numbers, to give an advantage, so if team A has a twatter or TT or Daguerrogram post about it, their victory scale moves from 2-4 to 2-5. Should they write a legit newspost on it, they move from 2-4 to 2-6. Should team B do the same, points are balanced back again and so on.
