TO: The private office of the King of Eiffelland
FROM: The Office of the President of the Free States of Trivodnia

To whom it may concern,

On behalf of the President of the Free States of Trivodnia Meier Lauterpacht, I would like to extend the warmest invitations to His Royal Highness
King Albrecht III and the royal family to discuss matters of state in Amstov.

Our shared response to the appalling treatment of the Jewish community in the Chetnik Empire has outlined a clear need for our two nations to co-operate in a region that is clearly becoming more and more unstable by the day.

As a guest of honour, HRH King Albrecht III will be invited to address the Grand Assembly of the Free States after seeing the historic sites and cultural landmarks of Amstov, before then proceeding to have a private dinner with the President and his family.

Of primary interest to the federal government of the Free States is promoting greater military and economic integration between our two countries, and formulating a responsive strategy in the case of another crisis.

Signed on behalf of

Meier Lauterpacht
President of the Free States of Trivodnia

[OOC: CBA writing a massively long formal post or doing one of those meeting RPs. If we could just agree outcomes and then post them via our respective newsthreads that'd be grand.]

We feel highly honoured with your invitation and are very delighted to travel to Amstov to meet you and discuss the current situation. Our eldest son, Crown-Prince Friedrich, will travel with us. We have to excuse for the absence of the Crown-Princess and our other four sons though. They have obligations elsewhere.

Albrecht von Dietz-Hadamar, King of Eiffelland

cc: Matthias Graf von Seydewitz, Chancellor

OOC 1: Are you sure you wanted to see the whole Royal family, i.e. not only the Royal Couple, but also their five sons, of which two are married and have children, two others will randomly seduce some girls in their twenties and one might study one of your male servants or guards (although he still mourns for his last boyfriend, who died a year ago under unofficially strange circumstances)?

OOC 2: You have to take into account that Eiffelland is a constitutional monarchy. The King is Head of State and part of the Government, he leads the government formations after elections, he appoints ministers and state secretaries, and no law can pass without his signature (de facto giving him veto rights), but he cannot close deals on behalf of the Government. What will happen in this case, is that the Cabinet (Chancellor and ministers) tells him what he can promise and what not, and that the Cabinet will want to read his speech before your Parliament. Unless you invite the Chancellor as well, of course.

(OOC: The invitation to the whole family was more out of politeness than anything. And understood re. the constitutional role of the Monarch. The President of Trivodnia is similarly limited in what he can do.)
