WIEN (Ostmark) - Hundreds of thousands of citizens have marched in Volksrepublikplatz and nearby streets in support of Volkskanzler Horst Grasser and the National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei amid a recent anti-terrorist operation against traitorous elements who seeked to destabilize the Volksrepublik and sabotage the achievements of the Revolution. Waving the flags of the People's Republic of Ostmark and the banners of the Partei, demonstrators have firmly renewed their loyalty to Horst Grasser. The Wise Leader addressed the crowd in an historic speech.

"Kameraden! The relentless, internationally coordinated slander campaign currently being led by the World Zionist Congress against the People's Republic of Ostmark aims to confuse the people and sow doubt regarding the strength and advantages of Ostmarkischer Nationalsyndikalismus. This can only serve to strengthen our resolve to continue in the future to do everything possible to defend our sovereignty and the very existence of our nation. We have received words from said World Zionist Congress that our recent efforts to bring traitors and criminals to justice will be raised in the World Permanent Conference.

The ability for states with different social orders to live and work together in such a house should be allowed to develop to the fullest, but we will not allow anyone to abuse these organizations for the purpose of destabilizing the People's Republic of Ostmark! Strict respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence, and non-intervention in internal affairs are indispensable for a future of peace and cooperation.

The Volksrepublik Ostmark has paved its way with achievements serving to strengthen our people in the knowledge of their power and of the worth of all efforts to establish a new, humane, complete life. Mme. Elisabeth Martinique (Premier): (responding to question on the events in Ostmark) [...]In recent weeks, we have seen a tremendous effort by our brother-state of Ostmark to unshackle itself from the confines of isolation and to emerge on the world stage. As can be expected, some quarters of that country's political class have responded to the change of course by the leadership of the Volksrepublik in a disapproving manner. That much is justified. However, as we know well, some voices choose to express their distaste or displeasure with governmental policies or actions by adopting a violent and dangerous approach, wholly endangering all others in a society... and that is unacceptable... be it in Ostmark or in any other sovereign nation-state.

To that effect, I believe that the recent efforts by the Government of the Honourable Volkskanzler Monsiuer Grasser have been far too unjustly criticized and that too on an entirely unrelated point. We do not believe that the Government in that country has exhibited any sign of being a despotic or discriminatory regime. Far from it. The dissidents who have been arrested in recent days have been done so, from my understanding, premised on the reports we have received from our Ambassador in Wien... the arrests, as I said, have been carried out within the letter of the law. The fact that the dissidents belong to one religion or the other is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that disturbance to the state of peace is an anathema for a society which aims to join the ranks of the prosperous nations of the modern world.

In my recent meeting with the Volkskanzler, he emphasized his commitment to the goal of a stronger and more robust economy in his country. And I think my fellow Comrade Commissars will join me in commending his profound commitment in reorienting the direction of his nation. And to that effect, I reiterate the commitment of Villesen and of my government to Ostmark.

WIEN (Ostmark) - People's Chancellor Horst Grasser denies the existence of a "Jewish Question" in the People's Republic of Ostmark after Rupert Rosenbaum, a so-called human rights activist, accused him of endorsing anti-semitism and discrimination. In a statement during a press conference, Volkskanzler Grasser firmly rejected the claims of the Movement for Civil Rights and Freedom of Expression and defended the conduct of the Volkspolizei in the recent anti-terrorism operation

"The Government of the People's Republic of Ostmark has made it very clear that religion strictly belongs to a citizen's private sphere of life. Religion is considered as a personal matter that played no role, and will play no role, in the political and social development of our nation. Accusing my government of promoting or endorsing anti-semitism is ridiculous, for there is no such thing as a 'Jewish Question' in the People's Republic of Ostmark, or a 'Catholic Question', or any so-called 'question' when it comes to religious groups and organizations. Citizens are free to practice their religion provided their cults do not promote activities forbidden by the law. We always act in accordance with our legal system and in respect of the rules and laws that we, as a national community, have decided to adhere to to regulate daily lives and activities in a civilized society. Religions are not, and will never be, extempt from the law of the People's Republic of Ostmark." said Volkskanzler Horst Grasser.

We want to react on one of the speeches by Volkskanzler Grasser. We completely agree with him that women and men should get equal pay for equal work. There is no justification for paying men more than women, or vice versa, when they do the same work. This kind of discrimination is also forbidden in Eiffelland-Retalia.
However, it should be mentioned that Volkskanzler Grasser's description of "the capitalist world" does not apply to Eiffelland-Retalia. Most Eiffelloretalians enjoy at least an acceptable life standard. With that, I do not mean a life standard barely above the subsistence minimum, but a life standard allowing to build up reserves that can cover the breakdown of the washing machine or the car, next to the access to healthy food, the memberships of sport clubs, the possession of good clothing etc. Furthermore, all Eiffelloretalians have access to state-of-the-art health care, and education is free.
I would also like to mention that working part-time can have advantages for young parents as well. When both parents work 80%, they still have enough money to sustain the family, and both the father and the mother have a day in the week to dedicate to their children. And of course, good nurseries are also needed to support young families.
Finally, 24 months is too long for a mother to stay out of work life. In Eiffelland-Retalia, maternity leave lasts from 2 months before the presumed date of delivery to six months after either the presumed or the actual date of delivery, whichever is more advantageous to the mother. In parallel, we provide support for young mothers going back to work after maternity leave. We think that this system is the perfect balance between child welfare and the mother's connection to work life.

WIEN (Ostmark) - Line upon line of goose-stepping soldiers shook the ground before giving way to chanting crowds waving flags and flowers as they passed a review stand where Volkskanzler Horst Grasser sat with foreign diplomats. With no missiles on display, the People's Defense marched in a military parade focused on conventional arms, peace and economic development as the National-Syndicalist People's Party reaffirms its pledge to protect Ostmark's sovereignty and independence.

The parade highlight themes of sovereignty and national development. Unlike in previous parades, there were no tanks and half tracks on display. The theme for the celebrations this month was economic development and and strenghtening of National-Syndicalism in the People's Republic of Ostmark as thousands of jovial kameraden clapped in unison and rallied support for the Wise Leader and the glorious National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei.

A huge float was decorated with a modern train, solar panels, wind power plants and dams, under a slogan of “People of Ostmark, the days of sorrow are over!”, as Ostmarkian men and women in construction work wear marched. Volkskanzler Horst Grasser gave a speech at the parade in which he said the country had finally come out of economic recession, and would now pursue efforts to strengthen its economy and defense. “All men and women of Ostmark should join forces to contribute to the material and moral progress of our nation.” said the People's Chancellor.

NEW 210 BILLION O-MARKS HIGHWAY PROJECT TO COMPLETE IN OCTOBER

WIEN (Ostmark) - The People's Labour Service is set to complete a 210 Billion OstMarks (100M Euromarks) highway road project connecting the western and eastern parts of the country by the end of October. The project will extend over 160 kilometers, and includes a main road with four lanes, seven bridges, in addition to sliding roads connecting to the surrounding areas and the secondary streets. Vizekanzler Ludwig Bohmer, Director-General of the Volksarbeitsdienst, said that the new highway is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year.

He said that the project will connect the eastern and western parts of the country, which will contribute to reducing traffic congestion at the entrance to Wien by 60%. The new road will accommodate about 60.000 vehicles per day in both directions, reducing the delay of vehicles at the traffic intersections in the People's Republic of Ostmark. The road consists of two traffic lanes for each direction, with the implementation of a large central island around Wien that can be exploited in the future by adding a third traffic lane for the road "Over 25.000 workers will be conscripted in the People's Labour service. As usual, priority will be given to unemployed citizens and citizens who live in large family units with two or more children" added Vizekanzler Ludwig Bohmer.

Vizekanzler Bohmer congratulated the new recruits on successfully completing the qualification process. “You are here because you met our high standards,” he said. “The qualification process is not easy, but we wanted the best of the best. You will be Ostmark's first line of defense in our neverending struggle against the enemies of the people.” he added.

Vizekanzler Bohmer added that he could think of no better way to serve the nation than by serving as a border guard. He said the new officers are now starting a six-month training programme, which is the first one to be held since 2013. The training programme covers the “foundation of policing and also covers the history of Ostmark and geography, which is so important for young border guards to understand and appreciate in relation to the communities and areas they will serve. The new recruits must dig deep and be resourceful in order to progress successfully through the stages of the curriculum.” added Vice Chancellor Ludwig Bohmer.

WIEN (Ostmark) - Before the October Revolution led by our Wise Leader, Volkskanzler Horst Grasser, unemployment peaked 32% during the Days of Sorrow, the National economy was in total collapse, Ostmark had no international credit rating, and international credit rating companies declared a technical default in early 2014. The people of Ostmark were demotivated, factories were closed from lack of money to pay wages, benefits were cut as the Government had no money to pay them and inflation was spiralling out of control.

Since the rise of the NSVP and the ousting of the corrupt capitalist regime, all this has changed. Every unemployed man and woman had to take up an available job and contribute to the reconstruction of Ostmark's national economy in strict accordance with the People's Community Ideal. The National-Syndicalist People's Party stimulated the economy with spending programs using National Labour Certificates that companies can cash after one month when they take on more staff, increase production and their output of goods. This is managed by the "People's Labour Service" or Volksarbeitsdienst.

Work teams are created from unemployed Ostmarkians and companies are given money if they employ more workers. Massive infrastructure-building projects are established, constructing new highways between major cities, which stimulates the Ostmarkian Car industry to build more cars, which will need to employ more people. The National-Syndicalist People's Party sponsors enormous housing projects, and planting of new forests. Ostmarkische Motoren Werke, Ostmark's state-owned car manufactuer, was recently commissioned by Volkskanzler Grasser to provide cheap cars for families, and families are encouraged to buy one by making monthly payments with zero interest loans. This led to the birth of Model-19, or OMW-19.

Huge public works programmes have been established in construction and agricultural labour and workers are given an armband, a shovel and a van and then sent to their nearest project to work. From October 2018 to February 2019 the number of Ostmarkians working in the People's Labour Service went from 4000 to 120.000. Many work on renovating and building the public buildings of Wien.

The new programme of Military Service takes thousands of unemployed young men and women off the list and into the Volkswehr and the Grenztruppen der Volksrepublik Ostmark (the People's Defense and the Border Troops of the People's Republic of Ostmark). This means that lots more guns, military vehicles, uniforms and kit are needed, so this in turn provides even more employment. Imports were initially forbidden unless vital to survival and then heavily discouraged, with research established to reproduce these goods from inside Ostmark as soon as possible.

The People's Republic of Ostmark changed from a defeated nation, a bankrupt economy, strangled by debt, inflation and lack of foreign capital, into almost full employment with a solid economy firmly set on the path of growth in 2019. Horst Grasser was right: the days of sorrow are finally over.

Many also displayed Elbener flags along with flags of the old Koenigreich Ostmark to remember and reaffirm the historical and cultural ties between our peoples.

Volkskanzler Horst Grasser personally sent condolences on behalf of the People's Republic Ostmark and its citizens to the Royal Family and the Government of the Kingdom of Elben and renewed the friendly and warm terms which characterized the relations between the two states since the fourteen century.

VOLKSRAT APPROVES ABORTION LAW REFORM

WIEN (Ostmark) - The People's Assembly approved with a unanimity vote the reform of the law that regulates abortion, recently labeled by the Permanent Revolutionary Committee as "a vicious form of legalized genocide" said Vizekanzler Ludwig Bohmer during a press conference in the Palast der Volksrepublik. The Vice Chancellor described in detail the much anticipated reform which, according to the text published on the national gazette, severely limits the cases of legal abortion to pregnancies that are undoubtely recognized as the product of violence, or if the woman's life is in immediate danger. In no case abortions will be allowed after seven days since conception.

When questioned whether the reform might generate more cases of illegal practices, Vizekanzler Bohmer announced that any woman who is unwillingly carrying a life in her womb will be entitled to assistance by public institutions that will eventually adopt the newborn baby should she refuse to take care of it upon birth, and guaranteed that "Women who will relinquish their children and entrust them to the State will not be judged on neither legal or moral grounds, but the mere fact a woman accidentally became pregnant, or changes her mind during pregnancy, does not automatically translate in a right to terminate a life and therefor deny the most sacred of all rights, the right to live a free and honourable existence" said Bohmer.

"We understand that women want to be in control of their bodies and might perceive this as a form of patriarchal oppression," he continued "but we must openly and frankly talk about the rights of the unborn. The National-Syndicalist People's Party will always defend the right to life, even when it comes to its unborn citizens. We believe this law is a good compromise between the two sides of the 'ideological barricade' . Nevertheless, the State will continue to guarantee all the required assistance, including shelter, food, medical care, for all pregnant women who lack the financial resources. We will soon upgrade our infrastructures to accomodate orphans and babies born from unwanted pregnancies, but we firmly reject the orphanage institution which in most cases revealed itself to be a strong element of distress and trauma for young and older orphan pupils. We will also upgrade and intensify the activities of the institutions tasked with processing adoption requests and guarantee orphans' right to live a free and honourable existence in a loving and caring family. The People's Republic of Ostmark does not leave its citizens behind, even if they are not born yet." said the Vizekanzler.

VOLKSKANZLER GRASSER ORDERS EXPROPRIATION OF PRIVATE ASSETS

WIEN (Ostmark) - Volkskanzler Horst Grasser issued an emergency decree to order the immediate expropriation of assets belonging to bankers and international shareholders who actively speculated on Ostmark's 2014 financial crisis prior to the nationalization of the banking system in October 2018. According to a spokesperson of the National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei, the operation of the Volkspolizei and the functionaries of the Ministry of Economy and Finances led to the arrest of 159 individuals and the confiscation of assets for an estimated value of 1,8 Billion OstMarks.

The assets confiscated include apartments, villas, painting, statues, luxury cars, boats, gold ingots, diamonds and dozens of bank accounts. According to functionaries of the Ministry who performed inspections, there are reasons to believe that some of the paintings and statues recovered in several locations could have been acquired illegally, as former de facto owners failed to demonstrate their origin or documents to prove their ownership.

Volkskanzler Grasser congratulated all the men and women of the People's Police and the functionaries of the Ministry for the quick and efficient operations against the enemies of the proletariat "During the election campaign that preceded our victory in October 2018, i solemnly promised the people that those who starved the working classes and denied them the right to live a free and honourable existence would pay for their crimes. Today i proudly announce that the large majority of assets and funds acquired by speculating on financial crisis and the devaluation of our national currency have been returned to the rightful owners, the People. The National-Syndicalist People's Party and the government cabinet presided by me are already working on a long term plan to reinvest the confiscated assets to boost our healthcare, our education and our welfare system in general. We will invest large sums to initiate the construction of new state housing projects in the outkirts of Ostmark's medium seized towns and continue our mission to provide shelter for the poor with particular regards to large families. We will support our farmers by providing them newer and more efficient equipment. We will support the emancipation of the youth by further extending the access to zero interests loans for young couples who wish to become independent and move out of their parents' home. We will build hospitals, schools, repair damaged roads, bridges and decaying infrastructures - an heritage of the capitalist tyrants who impoverished our nation for the benefit of international capitalist lobbies and private banks. KARL'S STORY IS A STORY OF SUCCESS AND PROLETARIAN SOLIDARITY
"My days of sorrow finally are over" says former homeless man.

WIEN (Ostmark) - As Karl Baumann looks out the window of his two rooms apartment in Ludwigstrasse, he remembers that just weeks ago he was living on the street. It was a chance encounter back in November that got him off the streets and into a place of his own. Being homeless was never part of Karl's plan. In fact, he had a place to live. But when his company filled for bankruptcy in April 2018, Karl lost his job and the bank evicted him from his apartment. "They decided to give me a 10 day notice and kick me out. So, I put everything in storage and there I was, homeless," Karl said.

It was May 2018 when Karl found himself living on the streets, but after making it through the summer, temperatures were dropping, especially at night. "As the months went on, it started getting colder and colder. So, I had to find different places where I could stay where it was warm and that's when I was hanging out at the laundromat at night," he said. It was in one of those laundromats that his life would change. One night in November, he was spotted by a patrol car of the Volkspolizei. "My presence in certain locations often caused distress, and the authorities treated me like a nuisance, like a pest to be eradicated. But when the People's Police approached me that night, they treated me like a human being. They helped me stand up from the cold and dirty floor and said 'Kamerad, the days of sorrow are over'. I will never forget them." said Karl struggling to hold his emotions.

He was brought to meet the chairman of the local chapter of the National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei who introduced him to the Volksarbeitsdienst, the People's Labour Service "They offered me a job and a temporary shelter in a big construction site here in the outskirts of Wien, so i became a carpenter ". Then, nearly five months later, Karl was in his own home. "The People's Labour Service awarded my efforts and my committment by granting me ownership of one of the apartments i worked on, and employed me as a janitor. I keep the building and the street clean, and now i'm friend with everybody here in Ludwigstrasse. This is... this is more than I could have dreamed of," he said. It was a long journey for Karl, but well worth it. And he is living proof for those still on the streets that there is hope "Finding the National-Syndicalist People's Party changed my life, I believe. Because if it wasn't for them, I'd be homeless still. My days of sorrow are finally over." he said.

HORST GRASSER CONDEMNS LONG SEA ESCALATION
"Cooperation among Long Sea nations is necessary to guarantee peace and safety in the region" said the People's Chancellor.

WIEN (Ostmark) - Wise Leader Volkskanzler Horst Grasser unexpectedly intervened in the recent escalation in the Long Sea and expressed perplexity at unilateral involvements that "might produce even more saber rattling and hostilities". The People's Chancellor thinks "the issue of piracy trascends territorial waters and conventional rules of war". It requires a "regional solution" and must encourage Long Sea nations "to broaden cooperation among them and aknowledge that piracy cannot be unilaterally fought under these circumstances" he said.

The People's Republic of Ostmark would "consider the participation in the creation of a regional anti-piracy task force to ensure safety in the Long Sea and prevent the latter from becoming a hotbed of geopolitical tensions and confrontation between nations", concluded People's Chancellor Grasser. The Volksmarine has recently increased its activities in Ostmark's territorial waters to ensure the safety of civilian and trade vessels in the area. The naval forces of the Volksrepublik have also been tasked to guarantee adequate presence in the international waters between the mainland and the southern archipelago and is ready to cooperate with Eiffelland-Retalia to coordinate activities, considering the proximity between the nation's respective islands in the Eastern Long Sea.

Today, we celebrate the 5th anniversary of the founding of the National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei der Arbeiterklasse, to look back at how the NSVPdAK has gloriously united the Ostmarkian people and led them in tireless struggle, to look ahead at the bright prospects of the cause of our Party and our Volk; to honor outstanding Party members, exemplary Party workers, and advanced community-level Party organizations from across the country; and to mobilize the entire NSVP and all Ostmarkian people in an even more confident advance towards the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and towards the Ostmarkian dream of national revolution against the international cliqué of capitalists and globalists.

Comrades!

Over the course of several centuries, the Ostmarkian people created an enduring and splendid country. Following the advent of modern times, however, owing to the corruptness of Ostmark's capitalist rulers, Ostmark was gradually reduced to a semi-colonial, impoverished country. As the land of Ostmark was laid to waste and the people descended into misery, the nation experienced suffering of unprecedented proportions.

Despite their bitter suffering, however, our glorious Volk did not yield. Instead, we stood up and fought back. With an undying spirit, they waged momentous struggle after momentous struggle, writing one stirring epic after another.

In 2014, following the default of the national economy, at a time of unprecedented social crisis when our people were beset by domestic turmoil and famine, the National-Syndicalist People's Party of the Working Classes was born from the meeting of Socialism, Nationalism, and the Ostmarkian working class. The emergence of a Nationalist and Socialist party in our country was an epoch-making event, which profoundly changed the course of our history in recent times, the fate and future of our people and our nation, and the direction and pattern of our development. In its momentous 5-year history, the NSVP, relying closely on the Ostmarkian people, has surmounted obstacle after obstacle, and gone from victory to victory, making a great, historic contribution to the Ostmarkian nation.

This contribution saw the NSVP rally the Volk and lead them in carrying out National-Syndicalist revolution, establishing the Volksrepublik, eradicating all systems of exploitation, and advancing National-Syndicalist construction. This contribution was significant because it saw through the broadest and most profound social transformation in the history of the Ostmarkian nation; laid down the fundamental political preconditions and institutional foundations for all development and progress in contemporary Ostmark; and laid down a solid foundation for Ostmark’s development, prosperity, and strength and the Ostmarkian people’s affluence, thus bringing about a leap forward whereby the Ostmarkian nation reversed its decline and set out towards prosperity and strength.

Friends and Compatriots!

Five years ago, the people's desire for national sovereignty and proletarian equality, for the prosperity and strength of the country, and for the happiness of the workers was so strong, yet the prospect of these things was so distant. Today, we are closer than ever to realizing the goal of the national revolution, and more confident and able than ever to realize this goal.

We can now say with complete confidence that our dream has to be achieved, and definitely will be achieved. The entire NSVP must stay true to its cause and continue marching forward. It must maintain its modesty and prudence and avoid arrogance and impetuosity. It must preserve its tradition of bitter struggle, have the courage to change and innovate, and ensure that it never becomes rigid nor stops in its tracks. And it must continue to rise to the challenge of its ongoing historic test, striving to produce new and even more outstanding results for history and for the people.
