Dear Citizens,

It's been a while since i have addressed you on the state of the Nation, the present challenges and the challenges that will await us in the future. In the past two months the National Government has worked relentlessly to continue its efforts on the path to rebirth and development of our national community, a path we have initiated almost two years ago. As a Nation and as a people we can surely feel proud and satisfied with our achievements so far. Togheter, as one united nation and one united people, we have successfully defeated the ghosts of our dark and sad past and set new standards on the path to freedom and economic development.

All the numbers recently published by the Ministry of Economy and Development confirm the consistent growth of our Gross Domestic Product. Unemployment has reached its all time low, with an estimated 2.9%. The government i preside, the government you the people have democratically elected in free and fair elections, is working around the clock to translate these numbers into an improvement of the workers' quality of life and also an improvement of the quality of our public services. We are investing more and more funds into education, healthcare, social assistance and economic development to guarantee us, and our children, a future of prosperity, happiness and most importantly: freedom.

Firmly anchored to liberal values and the unshakable faith in its renewed democratic spirit, our Republic proudly stands as a bullwark of stability, peace and freedom in a world shaken by conflict and political upheavals. Aware of our troubled history, marked by the blood of the fallen and the horrors of tyranny, it is our sacred duty to excert vigilance over the enemies from without, but also from within. Political extremism, the bursts of sick nostalgia for a past of oppression and systematic violation of individual rights and freedoms will only face the determination and the sacred oath of a people, the people of Ostmark, to never fall under the yoke of a dictator ever again.

Togheter we will succeed. Togheter we will write a new page in the glorious and centuries old history of Ostmark.
Togheter, we will write a new page in the history of Europe.

Glory to the Republic.
Glory to Ostmark.

SÜDINSEL (Ostmark) - Fears of a disaster are growing as Interflug-Air Ostmark flight IFO-2796 from Wien bound to Fortaleza has vanished from the radars this morning over international waters north of the archipelago of Isla del Sur. The flight carried 201 passengers of six nationalities and 10 crew members. The aircraft, a twin-engine jet, has suddenly disappeared from the radars at 8.15AM and was expected to land at Fortaleza International Airport at 10.30AM. Südinsel's coast guard and the island's Territorial Defense Force garrison have dispatched all available Search and Rescue boats and helicopters in the area, supported by water units of the island's Provincial and State Police.

Ministerprasident Rogerio Möller-Da Silva, who is coordinating Search & Rescue operations from the Disaster Management Coordination Center in Fortaleza, has so far refrained from commenting on the disappearance of flight IFO-2796 "To avoid spreading false or incomplete informations" but reassured that "a press conference will be held as soon as more informations will be obtained" by the units in the area involved in the Search & Rescue operation and that the Provincial Administration is "Fully committed, with all available resources and personnel". Among the 201 passengers of flight IFO-2796 there are 141 Ostmarkians, 9 Tarusans, 21 Lethonians, 4 Radilans, 15 Eiffellanders, and 11 Frankians.

Dear sirs,

The United States of Corrientes is deeply concerned of the events which have taken place over the Crystal Sea, so close to the Estado de Baltras, and is shocked and sadened to see that such tragedies can occur so close to home, on the shores of Occidentia. The flight was observed on the radar by the Trinidad Municipal Airport on the Isla de Todos los Santos, sister island to Sud Insel, when it disappeared and has put our aviation authorities of high alert.

The authorities of the Estado de Baltras have started an investigation and the Correntine coast guard has been sent to the last point where the plane was known to be. An investigation has been started by the Correntine Aviation Authority and we hope to come with some answers. As good, peaceful and cordial neighbours, the United States of Corrientes wishes to work together with the Republic of Ostmark to sort out this issue and bring to peace the victims of this tragedy and to provide closure to the families.

Signed and sealed,
Mateo Restrepo

Südinsel Maritime Rescue Center confirms "The debries found in the area belong to flight IFO-2796, there are no survivors".

By Heinrich Obenaus

SÜDINSEL (Ostmark) -
The Südinsel Maritime Rescue Center in cooperation with the authorities of the Correntine State of Baltras have confirmed that "The debries found in the area over the Crystal Sea belong to the twin-engine jet operated by Interflug-Air Ostmark" that disappeared from the radars on Wednesday morning last week. "Unfortunately there are no chances to find any survivors of this tragedy" continued the communique released by Ministerpräsident Rogerio Möller-Da Silva during a press conference in Fortaleza.

Authorities confirm that no maydays have been issues before Interflug-Air Ostmark Flight IFO-2796 inexplicably disappeared from the radar north of Isla del Sur, leading investigators to believe that "An explosion or possibly an irreversible and sudden loss of pressurisation might be at the origin of this tragedy". Kanzler Walter Eidman, from Wien, promised that a "Full and transparent investigation in cooperation with Correntine authorities" will be conducted until "Answers will be given to the families of the 211 victims of this tragedy". The Nationalrat in Wien declared a three days mourning period. Flags will be flown at half mast over all government buildings.

OSTMARK CELEBRATES SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF LIBERATION
Chancellor Walter Eidman: "Our strenght and our resilience are a beacon of hope for all in Germania and Europe"
Over two hundred thousand citizens gathered in Republikplatz, Wien, to celebrate the recurrence of the fall of the National-Syndicalist regime and the rebirth of democracy in Ostmark.

By Alexander Besselman

WIEN (Ostmark) - "We will rise, once again, from the ruins". With these words, during the evening of the 18th December 2020, former Interim Volkskanzler Ludwig Bohmer concluded his speech before the People's Assembly after presenting a motion to dissolve the Volksrepublik Ostmark and readopt Ostmark's constitution of 1959. During that night over a hundred thousands citizens had gathered infront of the Palast der Republik (known back then as the Palast der Volksrepublik) amid a failed state coup by Generalfeldmarschall Otto von Wilhelmstadt, to demand democratic reforms and the end of the stagnant and oppressive National-Syndicalist Institutions that choked the legitimate democratic aspirations of the people of Ostmark.

A night of celebrations, of joy, happiness and hope had followed. Today, after two years, the same joy and the same hope and pride have pervaded all houses, all families, Ostmarkians of all age, to reitarate their will to live in a free and democratic society. "Our strenght and our resilience are a beacon of hope for all in Germania and Europe" said Kanzler Walter Eidman during an emotional speech in Republikplatz "The pride for standing right here, under this tricolour flag, is immense. It is a pride that only we Ostmarkians understand, for only we Ostmarkians understand what Ostmark is and what it means for us." he added.

"The Republic" he continued "Ostmark, our dear fatherland.. is not merely a flag. It is an ideal embodied deep down our hearts, down our souls. It not only represents our nationality. It represents our way of life and we know, regardless of the events that have occured since the fall of the regime and regardless of the pain, the tears and the countless challenges, the countless defeats that our nation has endured during its troubled history: Ostmark is, and will always be, the most beautiful country in the world". Foreign head of states, of government and diplomatic attaches have been invited to the public celebrations so as to renew Ostmark's committment to international cooperation, peace and friendship between countries and peoples "Never again Ostmark will fall under the yoke of a tyrant" said Eidman "Never again Ostmark, and its people, will accept to be subjugated. Never again our children will live a life of deprivation, of oppression and of obscurity" he concluded.

OSTMARK: A WILDFLOWER GROWING IN THE ASPHALT
Interview with Chancellor Walter Eidman

You must be registered for see images

By Alexander Besselman

Alexander Besselman: Good evening Herr Kanzler and thank you for accepting this interview.

Walter Eidman: Good evening Herr Besselman, it's a pleasure to meet you again.

Alexander Besselman: So, we are sitting here in your office in the Palast der Republik, two years after the fall of the Grasser regime and almost two years after your election as Chancellor. What has your government led by the Sozialdemokratische Partei Ostmarks accomplished so far, what mistakes have been made in your opinion and what is your plan for the rest of your four-years mandate?

Walter Eidman: Thank you for the question. I believe we have done everything in our power to start and complete the transition from the centrally planned National-Syndicalist economic system to a free market system, but also closely monitored the transition to protect the workers and their families from the downsides of globalisation and capitalism.

Alexander Besselman: What are the downsides of globalisation and capitalism in your opinion, and how has your government managed to tackle them?

Walter Eidman: The pay gap, inequalities between the rich and the poor, access to better or worse public services such as healthcare and education for example. We allowed foreign companies to heavily invest in Ostmark - we are talking about tens of billions of EuroMarks - but also protected workers rights by reminding investors that Ostmark was ready to open up its economy to the rest of Europe but we were also not willing to make the mistakes of the past such as the acceptance of an unregulated laissez faire system in which the poor are neglected or even blamed for their condition. In fact, we have invested large sums into improving our healthcare and our education systems aswell as vocational training program. We asked the world to invest in our nation, but we also understood that some changes in our mentality and our attitudes were to be made. We embraced the changes and we all gained something from them. As of today Ostmark, despite being the poorest country in Germania, is one of the fastest growing economies. It will takes a decade to reach pre-default levels provided we will successfully maintain such growth, or just to match the GDP of countries with similar size, but we are definately making steps ahead.

Alexander Besselman: Another question. The transition from dictatorship to democracy is probably the reason why you will be remembered by future generations, and possibly history books, for being the first democratically elected Chancellor since the fall of the regime. What prompted you to step into the process and become the candidate of the Social Democratic Party of Ostmark?

Walter Eidman: I will correct you first: the fall of the regime and the rebirth of democracy in Ostmark is not a personal achievement, it's not something you can award to Walter Eidman, or any other single individual in this nation. It is an achievement that belongs to the entire national community. It was the will of the people. It was the people who surrounded this Palace and asked former Interim Volkskanzler Ludwig Bohmer to step down, call elections and pave the way for a free, fair and democratic vote. As always it is the will of the people that prevails in this nation. No matter how long it takes or how hard it is. Ostmarkians have shown many times in the past that sovereignty belongs to them and not to single individuals or small groups of individuals who cling onto power. Those who think otherwise, will soon face the wrath and the determination of almost six million free women and men who are ready to take up arms to defend their rights and their nation from those who seek to feast and prey on it, be them internal or external enemies.

Alexander Besselman: And what was the reason that convinced you to become the SDPO candidate in the elections?

Walter Eidman: I was chosen as a candidate by the congress of the SDPO in late December 2020, a few days after Bohmer called the elections. I had to be convinced in fact, by my party colleagues, to run as a frontman for the immense challenges and the changes that needed to be addressed in a very short time. But, i believe the reason why they convinced me is because they knew how much i missed this nation and its people during my exile in the @Rheinbund . I've campaigned against Horst Grasser for years and escaped two assassination attempts. I could have fled anywhere in the world but i didn't cross the borders of Germania because i knew deep down my heart that one day Ostmark would be ready to wake up from its nightmare and finally resort to reasoning and reconciliation, rather than populism and anger.

Alexander Besselman: And now those days of anger, of sorrow, are gone.

Walter Eidman: Yes, they are gone. We are not strangled by the debt anymore, in fact we have become an important industrial and trade hub for major multinational companies. Foreign governments and private companies alike approach Ostmark and see a land of good opportunities thanks to our balanced budget, our skilled workforce and internal policies that promote social stability, peace and great margins for growth. Even tho we are not rich in resources, nor in money, we are rich in will to improve and contribute to the growth of this nation, its economy, and its democratic society.

Alexander Besselman: A foreign newspaper from the Republic of @Tianlong , The Voice of the Nation, has compared Ostmark to a "lighthouse in a dark sea" and "a wildflower that manages to grow in the middle of a parking lot". What do you think about these words?

Walter Eidman: Yes i've read that piece and i've really enjoyed it. That's exactly the way i would describe Ostmark, not as Ostmark's Chancellor but as an Ostmarkian. Ostmark really has, against all odds, flourished from a heap of smoking rubbles left by the fall of the dictatorship and the economic catastrophe that we all remember, and managed to grow so high to the point everyone could see it, even from the other side of the world, like a lighthouse in a dark sea.

Alexander Besselman: What are the government's plans for the rest of your term?

Walter Eidman: At the moment the government is working to consolidate the aforementioned achievements: economic growth, re-investments of new available funds into the modernisation of our public services to improve access and quality and also our production methods and capabilities to further boost our economic recovery and growth. We are working around the clock to make sure none of our achievements are wasted and we also seek to translate all these positive factors into an improvement of the general quality of life for the citizens, the workers and their families.

Alexander Besselman: Once your term will be done and new elections will be held, will you run again for the Office of the Chancellorship?

Walter Eidman: It's too early to talk about my re-election. But if the SDPO will choose me again as candidate and if the people will support me again in this endeavour, then i will not run away from my responsibilities and my duties towards this country and its people. A democratic election will determine my political future. In the meanwhile, i will continue to do my best to faithfully serve my nation and my people.

Alexander Besselman: Thank you, Chancellor Eidman. It's been a pleasure.

Walter Eidman: Anytime, Herr Besselman.

STAATSPRÄSIDENT ALBRECHT RATIFIES SEEWEHR'S MOBILIZATION
The State President ratified the motion of the SDPO in the National Assembly to begin the mobilization of Ostmark's Naval Defense Force to counter pirate activities in the Gothic Sea.

By Heinrich Obenaus

WIEN (Ostmark) - With 74 votes against 26, the Nationalrat approved the motion presented by the Sozialdemokratische Partei to begin the mobilization of the naval forces of the Republic, to which "All available resources will be granted", according to a statement of the Ministry of Defense, to "effectively carry out anti-piracy operations in the Gothic Sea and provide the necessary protection for national and international vessels in distress or under threat by rogue post-delegationist pirates". Chancellor Walter Eidman then expressed satisfaction after President of the Republic Karl Albrecht, who by constitution also serves as Commander in Chief of the Territorial Defense Force and all of its branches, ratified the parliamentary vote. The Chancellor also exhorted Gothic Sea nations to take similar initiatives to "Eradicate piracy from the Gothic Sea with a swift, decisive and relentless coordinated effort between all the nations involved".

Seewehr units have been instructed to "Open fire at will" against any vessels belonging to post-delegationist entities that come too close to Ostmark's national waters, highlighting a resurgence but recurrent anti post-delegationist sentiment that has characterized Ostmark's foreign policy in the past years. "The fact is that these non-nations are basically ruled by non-governments that have little or no control over their institutions, provided they have any, and are effectively posing a threat to trade and most importantly stability in the region" said Eidman "Military vessels belonging to these so-called nations are effectively going rogue, and as rogue forces they should be treated. If they will come too close to our waters or our vessels, our forces will open fire with no hesitations and no prior warnings" added the Chancellor "The Republic of Ostmark will protect its interests, its independence and its territorial integrity aswell as the safety of its civilian vessels with all resources and weapons available. There will be no trials for pirates, and no prisoners will be taken. Do not get close, or we will kill you." he concluded.

OSTMARK: THE LAST REPUBLIC
Sorrounded by absolute and authoritarian empires and post-delegationist nations, Ostmark still perceives itself as the last republican bullwark of democratic and liberal traditions in Germania.
It is inhabited by a an idealistic, revolutionary and subsceptible population that has more than once ousted, dethroned or killed its rulers in sometimes spectacular violent outbursts of discontent.

EDITORIAL
By EPA Wien Angelika Klein

WIEN (Ostmark) -
Ever since in the first half of the 18th century when King Frederick I von Wien accepted the people's demand to ditch absolutism and transform the Kingdom into a constitutional monarchy, Ostmark has soon enough found itself sorrounded by states and nations in which absolutism still served as the functioning system of government. Given its tiny size and its irrelevant political and military weight if compared to its neighbors, Ostmark has since then pushed for an ever more democratic and liberal society depite growing authoritarian trends in its sorroundings. This trend culminated with the end of the monarchy in 1959 when republican revolutionaries forced King Ludwig IV to abdicate at gunpoint. Even in that case the King accepted the "outrageous" demands of the rioters without putting up any kind of resistance, aware of the people's desire to build an ever more democratic, liberal and modern nation on the ashes of the six centuries old rule of the Von Wien family. Ostmarkian rulers, from King Ludwig IV in 1959 to Chancellor Franz Kohler in 2018 and People's Chancellor Horst Paul Grasser in 2020, have always been aware and likely terrified by the revolutionary and edgy spirit of their subjects/citizens and paid their mistakes with their throne or their life.. or both, as in the cases of Kohler and Grasser.

Speaking of the Von Wien dynasty, ever since the early 18th century the Ostmarkian rulers granted their subjects a plethora of freedoms and rights that were nowhere to be found in the political landscape of Germania at the time. Universal suffrage was first introduced 1841 after a series of mass demonstrations in the capital city forced the monarchy to grant women, for the first time in Germania and in Europe, voting rights and the right to take part to the political process and, therefor, become members of the Royal Assembly. Therefor, the Von Wien family has done more, and earlier, than most royal families and government in Europe at the time. Ostmarkians, who are notoriously idealistic, decided to take the matter into their own hands by replacing the liberal monarchy with a liberal republic than allowed "More participation to the political and decisional process" as stated in the various slogans that were common during the First Ostmarkian Revolution of 1959.

During the so called "First Republic" (1959-2018), Ostmarkians sought to build their nation around the founding principle that "Sovereignty belongs to the people". It was therefor considered normal and vital that the people could remove their ruler at any time, for whatever reason, provided they had enough strenght and numbers to have their voices heard (or molotov cocktails) up to the highest offices of political and institutional power. Ostmarkian chancellors have been ousted by mass demonstrations in 1965, when Chancellor Weber attempted to implement private healthcare in the universal healthcare system, and again in 1971 when Chancellor Müller opposed the abortion laws that were set to be voted in a referendum. Again, in 1999 Chancellor Huber attempt to approve a reform to empower employers with more "freedom" to sack their employees: the scene of Chancellor Huber's private jet lifting off Wien's International Airport as thousands of angry demonstrators stormed the airstrip is still considered as one of the most iconic events in Ostmark and in Europe.

However, it was only after the 2014 Economic Crisis and the default that Ostmarkians crossed the line. After the so-called "Days of Sorrow" and the Second Ostmarkian Revolution of 2018, a court presided by prominent National-Syndicalist judges sentenced former Chancellor Franz Kohler to death by firing squad, in a spectacular and horrifying show aired on public television. The people cheered the death of "The white collars' guard dog", as he was labeled by National-Syndicalist medias at the time, as much as they cheered the end of the monarchy in 1959 or the comical escape of Chancellor Huber in mid 1999.

Forward to July 2020, hundreds of thousands of citizens had gathered in Wien to protest against the stagnant National-Syndicalist system that had broken all of its promises and instead transformed Ostmark into a totalitarian nightmare. While it is widely agreed the most Ostmarkians supported and still support the welfare-oriented reforms of Horst Paul Grasser, the "July Riots" of 2020 are said to be the main reason behind the suicide of the Volkskanzler. Like his rather unlucky predecessor Grasser had lost the support of the people and, with that, his legitimacy and his right to rule. Ironically, even the first and only dictator in the history of Ostmark was aware of the centuries old dynamics that shaped Ostmark's political environment which, with an euphemism, can be described as very susceptible.

In short, Ostmarkian rulers be them Kings, Volkskanzlers or Chancellors have historically paid much attention to the way their people perceived them. Even Chancellor Walter Eidman, often labeled as "The hero we needed, but probably did not deserve" by Ostmarkians themselves, is subjected to the revolutionary spirit of Ostmarkian citizens who, like in the past, would not hesitate to oust him in a spectacular or even bloody revolution should he deviate off the path of democracy and freedom.

WIEN (Ostmark) -
The Republic of Ostmark and its six million inhabitants are in a state of shock and disbelief as news breaks that Kanzler Walder Eidman has suffered a sudden, severe hemorrhagic stroke. The situation is dire, and sources close to the Chancellor reveal that there are little to no chances of recovery. Eidman was in a routine meeting with top government officials when the stroke hit, and the medical team of Wien's Polyclinic's Intensive Care Unit department has confirmed that the condition of the Chancellor is extremely critical. The entire nation is holding its breath, hoping and praying for a miracle, "but the reality of the situation is stark and alarming" said a spokesperson of the National Government.

The President of the Republic Karl Albrecht has taken temporary charge of the government, but the gravity of the Kanzler's condition has plunged the country into uncertainty and fear. The Chancellor has been a strong and unwavering leader, overseeing numerous critical initiatives and reforms and guiding Ostmark's transition to democracy and free market after the fall of the National-Syndicalist regime in the past two years and a half. The future of the country is now in question, and citizens who gathered by the thousands around Wien's Polyclinic to show their support for Eidman, are deeply concerned about what lies ahead. The Chancellor's family has requested privacy during this challenging time, and their statement acknowledges the severity of the situation. They have thanked the public for their support and concern but have also made it clear that the Chancellor's condition is grave and that there is little hope for recovery.

The nation is now in a state of mourning, with citizens expressing their grief and shock at the news. The Chancellor has been a pillar of strength and leadership, and "the thought of a future without him is almost unbearable" said Albrecht. The President of the Republic has also called for unity and calm, but the sense of unease and uncertainty is palpable. As the hours pass, the nation waits anxiously for updates on the Chancellor's condition, but the reality of the situation is stark. Eidman's future hangs in the balance, and the country's fate is now inextricably tied to this critical moment in time.

THE ENTIRE NATION IS IN SHOCK

By Alexander Besselman

WIEN (Ostmark) - The entire nation is in deep mourning as news of the passing of Kanzler Walter Eidman spreads throughout the country. The Chancellor, who had been hospitalized after suffering a severe hemorrhagic stroke, passed away peacefully earlier this evening, leaving the nation in a state of shock and sorrow. The Chancellor, who had been in office since early 2021, was considered by many a visionary leader who had overseen the successful transition from the National-Syndicalist dictatorship to democracy. Under his leadership, Ostmark has experienced significant growth and development, with welfare and economic-oriented reforms that have propelled the country forward.

Eidman had been a staunch advocate for civil rights and workers' rights, and his progressive policies have led to significant improvements in the lives of the people of Ostmark. His legacy is one of compassion, progress, and equality, and he had been widely respected both at home and abroad. The news of the Chancellor's passing has come as a devastating blow to the people of Ostmark, who had looked up to him as a source of inspiration and hope for the future. Citizens have taken to the streets of Wien to mourn his loss, with many expressing their gratitude for the positive impact he had on their lives and the country as a whole. As the nation mourns the loss of one of its greatest, if not the greatest leader, citizens are remembering him as a kind, compassionate, and dedicated servant of the nation who had worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the people and contribute to the moral and material progress of society.

"There are no words to describe the shock and the immense sorrow upon hearing the news of Chancellor Eidman's death" said Staatsprasident Karl Albrecht who has tempotarily taken charge of the National Government "Eidman was a very close friend of mine. I remember him as an extremely compassionate man, a dedicated servant of the Republic and a symbol of our resilience" he continued "Walter Eidman will forever be remembered as the Chancellor of Democracy, the man who inherited an oppressed nation in ruins and transformed it into a beacon of hope, democracy and freedom. Rest in peace, Walter." he concluded. The President of the Republic also announced that a discussion over the future of the Government will be held next week in the National Assembly to evaluate the option of calling early elections or appointing a new Chancellor by calling a vote of confidence.

He believed in the resilience and strength of our people and our nation, and worked tirelessly to create a brighter future for all of us. He understood the importance of democracy, and was a fierce defender of our values and principles. He knew that a free and open Ostmark was the only way to ensure that our people could live in peace and prosperity, and he fought to make that a reality.

Under his leadership, Ostmark has made great strides in the past few years. We have rebuilt our economy, strengthened our institutions, and regained our place on the world stage. But more importantly, we have rekindled the spirit of hope and optimism that had been lost for so long. The people of Ostmark have come together to work towards a common goal, inspired by the example set by Chancellor Eidman.

I know that many of us are feeling the pain of this loss, but as we bid farewell to Walter Eidman, we must also take comfort in the fact that his legacy will live on. His vision and values will continue to guide us, and his memory will inspire future generations. His love for Ostmark and his commitment to democracy will continue to inspire us as we work towards a brighter future. We must carry on his work and ensure that his dream for Ostmark, our beloved Fatherland, becomes a reality.

Rest in peace, Walter.
Your memory will always live on in the hearts and minds of the people of Ostmark.

Glory to the Republic.
Glory to Ostmark.

Public Statement

The message of Chancellor Eidman's death shocked us as much as it shocked the Ostmarkers. We remember him as the man who led Ostmark back into democracy, as the man who brought peace and stability back to Ostmark after a turbulent period.
Chancellor Eidman died while fulfilling his duties for Ostmark. He died in his harness, which passes more honour on to him than he already deserved.
Our condolences to family and friends of Chancellor Eidman, as well as to all people of Ostmark. The Rheinbund stands besides its Germanic brother country in the North.

WIEN (Ostmark) - The funeral of former Chancellor Walter Eidman took place today, bringing together citizens from all over the country to pay their final respects to a man who had served the Republic for over two years. The funeral procession began at the Palast der Republik in Wien, where Eidman's body was lying in state. Almost two hundred thousands citizens lined the streets to watch as the procession made its way through the Capital City, with many holding banners and signs expressing their grief and gratitude for Eidman's contributions to the country.

As the procession arrived at Wien's National Cemetery, military personnel carried Eidman's coffin to the burial site, where a final tribute was paid to the former Chancellor. Speakers, including Staatspräsident Karl Albrecht, paid homage to Eidman, praising his leadership and the contributions he made to the nation during his time in office. "Eidman will always be remembered as a national hero, the savior of the Republic who brought Ostmark out of a decade of poverty and espair, the champion of freedom who led a broken and shattered nation from the ashes of the dictatorship to the progress, peace and prosperity of democracy" Albrecht said in his emotional eulogy. "He was a man who never wavered in his commitment to the people of Ostmark and the Republic, and his legacy will continue to inspire us for generations to come. Glory to the Republic. Glory to Ostmark."

The ceremony was also attended by many foreign dignitaries and from across the globe, who came to pay their respects to a man who was widely respected on the international stage. The funeral was a somber and emotional event, with many citizens expressing their grief at the loss of a leader who had brought them so much hope and progress. Citizens left flowers and messages of tribute at the Palast der Republik and the National Cemetery, expressing their gratitude for Eidman's contributions to Ostmark. The funeral was a solemn occasion that brought together hundreds of thousands of people from all across Ostmark, a testament to Eidman's legacy as a unifying figure who brought the nation together during its transition to democracy.

Among the thousands in attendance were regular citizens whose lives had been touched by Eidman's policies and leadership. Many spoke of the deep sense of loss they felt at his passing, and the gratitude they had for his tireless efforts to improve their lives. "I never met Eidman in person, but I always admired him from afar," said a citizen named Maria, who had traveled from Sudinsel to attend the funeral. "He was a true leader, someone who always put the people first, and he will be deeply missed." "He was a true statesman who always put the needs of his country and its people first," said Sabine Fischer, a resident of Wien who had come to pay her respects. "He led Ostmark through some of its most difficult times and never lost sight of the importance of compassion and human dignity."

Others praised Eidman's commitment to social justice and his efforts to build a more equitable society. "He was a champion for the poor and the marginalized," said Klaus Weber, a retired factory worker from Wilhelmstadt. "He understood that a nation is only as strong as its most vulnerable citizens, and he fought tirelessly to ensure that everyone had access to the same opportunities." Many of the comments also touched on Eidman's personal qualities, such as his warmth, kindness, and humility. "He was a true gentleman who always had time for everyone, no matter their station in life," said Anna Schneider, a schoolteacher from Ludwigstadt. "I'll never forget the time he came to our school to read to the children. He had such a gentle spirit and a kind heart."

The outpouring of emotion and the heartfelt comments from regular citizens were a testament to Eidman's enduring legacy as a leader who inspired trust, respect, and affection from his fellow citizens. As the nation moves forward without him, his memory will continue to serve as a guiding light for those who seek to build a better Ostmark.
