His film portrays the horrors of war by telling us the story of the Ostmarkian-Eiffellander One Day War.

WIEN (ostmark) - In the morning of April 25th, 1871, a skirmish on the border between the Kingdom of Ostmark and the Kingdom of Eiffelland led to a confrontation that future generations in both countries would remember as the "One Day War". Four days later, on April 26th, at approximately 7 am, almost 20.000 men battled across the pastures of Tuchersfeld. By the evening, over 7000 soldiers were lying dead or injured on the ground, with several thousands injured left in the mud, unattended and agonizing, for almost a week. The outcome of the battle didn't see any real winner, but historians agree that the cries and the moaning of the injured prompted ostmarkian General Fredrich von Ludwigstadt and his eiffellander counterpart to agree to a temporary ceasefire in which medic corps from both sides assisted in the rescue of the injured and the removal of the corpses from the battlefield.

According to historical sources, scenes of fraternization and collective mourning among Ostmarkian and Eiffellander soldiers became more common. Shocked by the tragic outcome in terms of human lives and given the lack of a real reason to carry on the conflict, the two countries immediatly ceased hostilities and agreed on the preservation of the status quo. It was the first and last military clash between the two countries.

At the time, newspapers from both sides described the short-lived war as "an unnecessary bloodshed" sparked by futile reasons and probably by the hot headedness of the soldiers posted at the border near Tuchersfeld, in Ostmark. For years after the battle, the two countries argued over the responsibilities, but ostmarkian movie director John Aldberg decided to impress those events in a film that does not specifically blame one side, but rather condemns the futile reasons behind that conflict and the horrors of war "The majority of the dead and the injured were young ostmarkian and eiffellander boys, with an average age of 21." said the movie director.

"In Brother Wars - The Massacre of Tuchersfeld i portray the horrors of an unnecessary bloodshed. It was a battle in which soldiers who spoke the same language and shared a common cultural heritage battled over an insignificant skirmish that according to my research might have been sparked by an abuse of alcohol by elements of the border guards in Tuchersfeld" continued Aldberg "The Ostmarkian rulers, aswell as their Eiffellander counterparts, were perfectly aware that such a confrontation would have let to nothing but more bloodshed and unnecessary violence. Back then rationality and logic prevailed over pride and stubborness, and today the One Day War is an event our students learn in their history class. Brother Wars does not glorify the One Day War, but rather portrays the futulity of war, to remind everyone that cooperation and friendship between countries and peoples is the only hope for a future of progress and peace" he then concluded. The movie will be released on April 26th, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Battle of Tuchersfeld.

WIEN (Ostmark) - The Volkswehr (People's Defense) has grown and modernized rapidly with a focus on fighting and winning against foreign aggression. Wise Leader Volkskanzler Horst Grasser also embarked on a massive internal reorganization of the military, streamlining the organization and bringing it firmly under his control. The National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei unveiled an increase in military spending of 5.0% "If you look where our military was a few years ago, under the leadership of Volkskanzler Grasser the progress is truly tremendous. It is very impressive." said Vizekanzler Ludwig Bohmer.

"Where does the money go? More and better weapons," said People's Chancellor Horst Grasser. Key priorities include building more mobile air-defense missile systems, jet fighters, and infantry equipment. "In the year ahead, we will continue to build stronger armed forces for the new era. We will strengthen them through reform, science and technology." he added.

WIEN (Ostmark) - Andrea Grasser, sister to Weiser Fuhrer Volkskanzler Horst Grasser, has been sworn in as Vice-Chancellor of the People's Republic of Ostmark. She will work closely with Vice-Chancellor Ludwig Bohmer and, according to a spokesperson of the National-Syndicalistische Volkspartei, as Chairwoman of the Commission for Gender Balance.

In an emotional speech, Vizekanzlerin Andrea Grasser promised to concentrate her efforts to promote, defend and enhance women rights in the People's Republic of Ostmark and abroad "Continuing on the path of equality and progress envisioned by our Wise Leader People's Chancellor Horst Grasser and the glorious National-Syndicalist People's Party, in the interest of the Fatherland and the working class. People of Ostmark, the days of sorrow are over!" said the Vizekanzlerin during a press conference in the Palast der Volksrepublik.

An early supporter of the National-Syndicalist People's Party of the Working Classes, Andrea Grasser actively participated in the election campaign of late 2018 following our Wise Leader in all public events and political activities. She distinguished herself as a stern member of the Partei putting strong emphasis on the defense and promotion of women rights such as the Equal Pay Law, later approved by the People's Assembly on December 3rd, 2018.

WIEN (Ostmark) - Since the first day of its foundation, the Volksrepublik Ostmark has realized the unity with the world revolutionary peoples defending independence, strengthened the friendly and cooperative relations with many countries respecting it and thus has made a positive contribution to regional and world peace. The basic idea and principle of the foreign policy of the National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei and the government of the People's Republic of Ostmark is independence, peace and friendship.

It is the revolutionary stand being essentially maintained by the NSVP and the government of the Volksrepublik in pursuing the foreign policy to steadily increase the unity and cooperation with revolutionary and friendly countries such as the Seraziniste Republic of Serenierre and the neighboring Union of Eiffelland-Retalia. The NSVP and the government of the Volksrepublik have always made efforts to strengthen and develop the friendly and cooperative relations with other countries, motivated by the same idea and cause.

Developing the relations with all the friendly countries is a consistent principled stand of the National-Syndicalist People's Party and the government of the People's Republic of Ostmark in pursuing the foreign policy. The foreign policy is the most advantageous and just one helping establish and develop external relations with all the countries which respect the sovereignty of Ostmark's Workers' and Farmers' State and are friendly toward it irrespective of differences in idea and social system.

Despite the relentless, international campaign of slander and discreditation promoted by the World Zionist Congress and the stateless entities of the Far East, the National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei has successfully broken the chains of capitalist exploitation and restored the rightful rule of the ostmarkian national working class, the supremacy of State over the economy, the supremacy of the oppressed over the oppressors. For the first time in the history of our nation, a free and equal People's Community of peasants, farmers, carpenters, doctors, teachers, scientists, soldiers and all working citizens has replaced the old, corrupt and decadent consumerist, capitalist society.

In a country where the sick lacked medical care, we have created the People's National Healthcare Service and as a result infant mortality decreased by 52%. In a country where unemployment had reached 32%, we created the People's Labour Service and provided tens of thousands of ostmarkian women and men a job and a salary. We successfully defeated wage slavery and unemployment.

In a country where the plight of homelessness affected almost one hundred thousands citizens, we successfully completed the construction of new residential buildings and equally redistributed existing ones among families and workers. None shall freeze and none shall starve, was, is and will always be our sacred motto.

Thanks to our endless efforts against the consumerist model promoted by free market capitalism, defined by machism and the exploitation of the female body, for the first time ostmarkian women earn as much as men thanks to the Equal Pay Law approved by the People's Assembly on December 3rd, 2018. We have promptly lifted archaic recruitment restrictions in the military and the law enforcement which openly discriminated. Over 40% of the Honourable Deputies of the People's Assembly are women. Women, who were once relegated to a life of submission and exploitation, are now able to aspire to the highest level of education and embrace National-Syndicalist emancipation.

We established new provisions and assistance programmes for large families to protect maternity and infancy. We abolished usury and established zero interest loans specifically for young couples who wish to start a family and buy an apartment in the newly constructed residential neighborhoods of Wien, Wilhelmstadt and Ludwigstadt. We commissioned the creation of OMW-19, a cheap yet reliable car that currently serves as the main means of transport for almost 200.000 families, boosting tourism, travel and trade.

We are defeating the plight of prostitution by actively providing vocational training and provisions for those women who fell prey to merciless criminal cartels, which we are eradicating in all our major cities thanks to the tremendous efforts of the men and women of the People's Police.

WIEN (Ostmark) - The Ostmarkian people made achievements in economic development and improvement of the people’s standard of living in the first year of implementing the five-year strategy for national-syndicalist economic development. Our Weiser Fuhrer Volkskanzler Horst Grasser in his historic New Year Address in 2019 advanced the task of raising the overall strength of the Volksrepublik to a new stage of development by launching an all-people general offensive.

At the first plenary meeting of the National-Syndikalistische Volkspartei he set forth a new strategic line of concentrating all efforts on National-Syndicalist economic construction. True to the Party’s grand plan and leadership, the people of Ostmark braved difficulties and hardships in the revolutionary spirit of Grasserism and self-reliance and brought about great upsurge for increased production by dint of science and technology. They built many monumental structures representative of the might of the independent, National-Syndicalist economy.

A forceful drive was launched to complete major projects, including the renovation of the country's public infrastructures, the beginning of the construction of the Autobahn and the state housing projects in the outskirts of Wien, Wilhelmstadt and Ludwigstadt.

WIEN (Ostmark) - The members of diplomatic corps of the Anti-State and the Commonwealth of Pohjanmaa have been declared Persona non Grata and received an expulsion decree from the People's Ministry for State Security on the grounds of being "a threat to the security of the People's Republic of Ostmark" in retaliation to the ultimatum issued by the Anti-State to the Aurarine Republic.

Weiser Fuhrer Volkskanzler Horst Grasser criticized the lack of cohesion of Gallo-Germanian countries against foreign aggression and announced the Central Committee of the National-Syndicalist People's Party has expressed perplexities in the recent changes in foreign policy and approved a motion to reintroduce political, military and economic isolationism in the doctrine of the Partei and the foreign policy of the Volksrepublik.

Volkskanzler Grasser, who is entitled to veto the motions of the Central Committee, relinquished his veto rights and aknowledged the decision of the Central Committee. The move was applauded by the deputies of People's Assembly during Volkskanzler Grasser's address this morning. Despite the new changes in foreign policy and doctrine, Volkskanzler Grasser reassured Ostmark's economic partners (namely Serenierre, Eiffelland-Retalia and the Confederation of Bezonvaux) that Ostmark will respect and honour the agreements signed by the high contracting parties, but renewed his plan to streghten economic self-reliance and "Ostmark First" political agenda.

Hundreds of disciplined kameraden goose-stepped to salute our Wise Leader Volkskanzler Horst Grasser, Vizekanzler Ludwig Bohmer and Vizekanzlerin Andrea Grasser in the greatest military parade ever held by the revolutionary armed forces of the Volksrepublik Ostmark.

"We are National-Syndicalists! Enemies, mortal enemies of the present capitalist economic system with its exploitation of the economically weak, with its injustice in wages, with its immoral evaluation of individuals according to wealth and money instead of responsibility and achievement, and we are determined under all circumstances to defend by all necessary means the achievements of our National Revolution! OSTMARK RESTARTS AIR COMBAT PATROLS

WIEN (Ostmark) - The Air Forces of the People's Defense are resuming the practice of sending its bomber aircrafts and fighter jets on long-range flights in the country's national airspace, Weiser Fuhrer Volkskanzler Horst Grasser has said. The People's Chancellor said the move to resume the flights permanently after a 5-year suspension was in response to security threats posed by other military powers.

He said Bremmer-79b strategic bombers and Bremmer-76 Fighter Jets had taken off from Ostmarkian airfields early on Wednesday. The move comes in response to the involvement of Post-Delegationist entities in the Long Sea region. "We have decided to restore flights by the Air Forces of the People's Defense on a permanent basis," Volkskanzler Grasser told reporters during a joint military exercise with the National People's Army and the National People's Navy.

"In 2014 Ostmark unilaterally ended flights by its strategic aircrafts as a way to cut military expenses. Unfortunately, today's circumstances require us to increase the surveillance of our airspace," People's Chancellor Grasser said, in an apparent reference to recent Long Sea escalation. Fernsehen der VRO quoted Vizekanzlerin Andrea Grasser as saying: "At present, several pairs of Bremmer-80b strategic bombers and Bremme-76 fighter jets are in the air over Ostmark and its coastline."
