I do believe no NS European nation should be a member of the WA, though. I only recognize these forums and community, and specifically not the "guest book" on Nationstates, to be the one true representation and official HQ of Europe. The rest of the world does not exist to me, nor do I think it should exist to any other nation here or on nationstates.net.
I do hope you are cognisant of the increasingly tenuous links between NSEurope and Europe-game.eu? The reasons for using this forum instead of a forum created for the purposes of Europe's government is because this one requires magnitudes less effort and would also strengthen that bond between NS and the forum by directing traffic over here. I guess you're not looking at it from a NS-centric point of view. :/

If anyone wants to assemble, debate and pass bills, do it here! ... That all being said, I wouldn't mind kicking all nations from the region that don't have an account on this board would be fun too, if only to witness some confusion and/or desperation.
While I can respect that pro-Europe-game feeling, it would also mean that NSEurope would be absolutely destroyed.

We (I think Xenn, Kyiv, and I) appointed Ivernia to be a kind of ambassador to the nationstates Europe guys, and I checked in on it a lot for a few months . . But that was already almost 2 years ago probably.

Though it's up to Xenn and would require his effort :smug: we should probably once again make it easier to use our forum for those guys. The few who filtered over last time though were kind of strange, so I dunno.

Up till today, I never fully realized the name/url of this board was Europe-game(.eu). We are NSEurope!
Not that I speak for this community.

Quite some time ago, Ivernia said this to me in answer to a query: 'Please feel free to use our forums whatever way you'd like we always love more people here. We actually made those sub forums just in case people like yourself wanted to utilise them in any way.'

You're Founder, correct?

Negative, I think it is (Xen on IRC) or Erlangen-Ansbach (Lancaster). Though I am not entirely certain.

Anyway, can we unthreadjack this back to a discussion on the merits of the proposed Draft Constitution?

It was my understanding that we had cut ties. I think many or maybe most of us came here from NS but I didn't know we had any connections that remained whatsoever

I had that same impression — but when querying on whether it would be proper to use this forum for its titular purpose — I received a most accommodating answer.

Goodness. I thought this forum was for mainly NS active Europeans only. Guess I was wrong. Anyhow, it seems that IA has answered one question on the constitution. Lets get the other questions flowing

I guess it's fine? I don't think it really matters. Doesn't look like it would affect the RP in any form, so I'm wholly indifferent.

Just my two cents:

This forum is, indeed, for all things related to the NationStates side of Europe. While the majority of the forums cater to the roleplaying side of things as there has historically been no interest in discussing the aspects of the NationStates games in a more organized fashion outside the RMB amongst the playerbase, this forum remains open for any attempts to in fact organize these people after all and contribute to their expanding needs in terms of new subforums etc if such a need should arise. At the same time, the roleplaying part of things has no connection to the NationStates game, that is, nothing in terms of nation 'power' stats, 'lore' etc has relevance to the RP.

These are however, I would like to think, different aspects of a general 'Europe' community, if those that still only play the browser game and have no interest in the roleplaying side of things are interested in using these forums, they have a place here, and they will find assistance from me and the rest of the administration should they need new tools, subforums etc to organize themselves.

Imperium Anglorum If you want the general discussion that has emerged here split off into a different thread, just say a word. Should more players of the NationStates game appear here it might also be worth considering giving you local moderator privileges to deal with this subforum, if that is what you want.

@ , splitting it into a '[Discuss] NSEurope and Europe-game' thread would be nice. Anything about moderator privileges will be relevant when there are more people on this subforum, so, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Moved all posts pertaining to the general discussion about NationStates to this thread. Please keep the Constitution thread related to the matter at hands.

Also for the record, yes, I do technically have Founder access (alongside several other ancient Europe members), but as you would have guessed we are laissez-faire about its usage. I guess you could poke us with a thread or something if you need something specific from Eurofounder and one of us will get to it.

I support any use of the Nation-States sub-forum on our forums, as Xen just said.
Imperium Anglorum when you get your constitution and government going and want to post things pertaining to your gov this would be a good place to use.
