Does anyone on these boards know when the NS region of Europe was founded or how EuroFounder became the founder?

Well Eurofounder became the founder because he founded the europe region just like you can create any region. He was just the person who did ''europe'' on Nation-States.

As far as I know, this Forum was started in 2002. Back then it was called nseurope.com and was rebooted in 2006, which is why you see a lot of our veterans have a ''creation date'' of October 2006.

We had a huge hack attack about 3 years back too and rebooted the forum again although it wasn't as major a reboot. I think around that time we renamed ourselves europe-game.eu and went on to German servers.

This is what I know, other/older veterans please correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.

I am not sure if those major hacks took place 2 or 3 years ago, and that major reboot in 2006 actually took place in 2005 But the remainder is correct. Sorry for being overly precise

The EuroFounder account was created for the sole purpose of administrating the region, or rather, for the WA-delegate not to have administrative powers. The original founder of the region disappeared and ceased to exist soon after creating Europe. Due to the possible threat to the largest player created region, a specific account was created and artificially promoted to founder. This was done with the help of Myrth, who back then was active both in this community and an administrator for Nationstates. EuroFounder was originally maintained by Erlangen-Ansbach and Myrth. I believe ErAn(Franken) still does it today, I doubt Myrth still does. You may ask for the credentials of the account, but you will never get them. The Founder and Delegate may never be the same person(unless it is ErAn).
