People’s Commissiar for External Affairs
The Kadikistani Union
Ivar, Kadikistan

Dear Commissar Kujundzic,

I write to you today under the most sensitive of guidelines with acknoweldgement of the ramifications should the nature of this conversation become common knowledge to the Domain and the world at large. The current condition of the world, and its powers’ refusal to engage in substantive talks concerning it, will only serve to further cause death and destruction that will undoubtedly spread beyond the borders of Bourgogne and Gallia. The Commonwealth of Clarenthia cannot stand idolly by and abide the descent of human decency. It is under those circumstances that this correspondence finds itself in Kadikistan. The Commonwealth is proposing a discreet, yet productive meeting between our two countries to discuss the affairs currently happening within Gallia and their ramifications beyond.

The League of Four Nations, or the Domain, is continuing to coalesce and align into a singular unit. This development is entirely a net positive for the Commonwealth and one that we will continue to vigorously pursue, especially in the wake of Post-Delegationism, the new Tiburan Empire, Donna Trumm’s intentions with the Socialist World Republic, and Kadikistan’s return to global affairs. The rise of the Domain is an action that the Commonwealth does not intend to apologize nor justify before Kadikistan in much the same vein that the Commonwealth will not expect explanation or apology from Kadikistan for any of its actions that can be conceived as antagonistic toward the Domain.

Rather, it is the intention of the Commonwealth to establish a diplomatic link with Ivar with which it can return to Welmonton and bridge the gap between our two blocs. The new reality of our multipolar world is that lack of communication will result in death. Our intentions are to work, in all our earnst, to avoid unnecessary death. I believe, firmly, that together we can begin the process of building understanding between one another and that understanding will be critical toward avoiding future conflict.

We eagerly await your reply.

The Honorable Aston Notleigh
Commissioner for Foreign Affairs & Fictional Organisations
Commonwealth of Clarenthia
Palmerton

Esteemed Commissioner,

We recognize and appreciate the efforts made by yourself and your administration in conducting reasonable diplomacy. The establishment of discrete diplomatic channels is indeed a far better manner to reach a common understanding of the events that envelop our world. It is much to our own regret that such initiatives weren't taken prior to the military invasion of the Burgundian People's Republic as it isn't respectable diplomatic conduct to first place one in the dark and indeed with their backs against the wall before engaging in such endeavours. We have taken note of the intervention of the League of Four Nations, henceforth referred to as the Domain, in the Burgundian People's Republic, which is currently the sole government recognized by the Kadikistani Union. In accordance we are preparing an adequate response.

Sincerely,

Dear Commissar Kujundzic,

The inaction of the Domain to dutifully inform regional players of the necessity of the Burgundian Invasion is indeed regrettable. However, while the mistakes of the past cannot be altered, the future remains to be written. Therefore, it is equally regrettable that in a moment to rectify past transgressions, the Kadikistani Union has chosen to reject dialogue and negotiations. Even more so considering the recent alignment of several Germanian actors in putting together a coalition of forces all hostile to the Domain and a free Neustria, the origin of such a coalition having come from a summit in Kadikistan.

The Commonwealth always has, and always will, have full confidence in man’s ability to create peace through dialogue and mutual respect. Even in this moment, we have not lost that confidence. Should the decision to engage diplomatically be made, the Commonwealth will stand ready.
