King Ahmed Fashir gave a long interview on the anniversary of his five year reign. Following the death of his father, King Nasir Fashir, King Ahmed has taken the reigns of the kingdom continuing the plans of his father but also slowly introducing his own vision for the future of the kingdom. His Majesty was kind enough to talk us about his plans for the future, the region, his faith and his family. We will present today some of the highlights from that interview:

-Your Majesty has continued the projects started by your father and even your grandfather but at the same time Your Majesty has also made his mark on the kingdom. In your opinion what separates your reign from that of your father and grandfather?
-My grandfather created the kingdom, my father consolidated it and made it stand on its feet and Allah willing during my reign we will see the kingdom engage with the wider world. Our world is too small for us to stand in our own corner. What happens in one part of the world affects us all. The first step is to admit that some of what used to work during my father’s reign, blessed be his name, no longer works now. Take for example our armed forces. He made sure most our equipment is domestic so as not depend on others but that is no longer in our interest. We need the best equipment money can buy and the kingdom was the financial strength to do it.

-Your Majesty has often talked about the need for the kingdom to engage more with the nations of Al-Magrab, Hajr, Azraq with whom we share not only a language and the faith but also history. Yet some critics say that it is not in the interest of the kingdom to focus on these nations since they are poor…
-Let me stop you right there. Our bothers of faith in these countries are not poor, they are kept poor. It’s a big difference! Al-Magrab and Hajr are even rich in natural resources and yet the people live in squalor. To those critics I ask “why is it that they are poor?”. If this kingdom is to prosper in the centuries to come then it must help our brothers and sisters from across the sea. And I will tell one more thing to my critics. The people of Al-Magrab, Hajr and Azraq are poor in material wealth but rich beyond compare in spiritual wealth. The people there praise Allah and follow his will better than perhaps some of us in the kingdom.

-Your Majesty has recently announced that your first wife will be serving the kingdom in the capacity of head of foreign affairs. That makes Her Majesty the first woman to serve in the cabinet of the kingdom. Some have argued that the kingdom is embracing foreign values. What does Your Majesty say to such statements?
-I say they need not worry. I am just as committed as my father and the grandfather to see the kingdom honor Allah. My wife Alya is beyond the age where she can bear children, I think she can better serve the family and the kingdom in her new position.

The kingdom celebrated five years of King Ahmed Fashir’s leadership. May Allah grant him at least another 50 years of reign.

- Speaking of family matters, many in the kingdom are wondering if they will have the honor of seeing their King take on a new wife…
- I will not disappoint them. My father and grandfather both had four wives who blessed them with many children. I plan to follow in their footsteps.

- Your Majesty had been blessed by Allah with two beautiful wives, five sons and three daughters, with wealth worthy of the name Fashir and with a people who deeply love and respect their king. So what does Your Majesty pray for to Allah?
- I pray for Him to keep the kingdom safe, I pray for my people and for the people of Al-Magrab, Hajr and Azraq.

His Majesty King Ahmed Fashir has called on all countries to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Al-Magrab and Hajr: “the people of Al-Magrab and Hajr have a right to choose their own path under the guidance of Allah and are not pawns of the great powers of the globe”. The statement comes as the has reported a new Gothic Sea Pact between some of the greatest powers of the globe which aim, among other things, to carve between themselves the territories and especially resources of our brothers and sisters across the sea. This unholy pact treats the countries of Al-Magrab and Hajr as mere pawns for the betterment of foreign interests.

Mosques across the nation have issued call to prayers for the brothers and sisters across the sea

The royal government has announced it is making plans to accommodate refuges from Al-Magrab and Hajr and that any who would come to Al-Fashir will be “welcomed with open arms as fellow believers in the word of Allah”. Despite the preparations, sources close the royal government say the expected numbers of refugees to be small considering the distance and the sea that separates Al-Magrab and Hajr from Al-Fashir.

His Holiness Grand Mufti Abdul Zamel addressing the nation with a message of hope that the great powers of the globe who are unopposed and dare to abuse and take advantage of the people of Al-Magrab and Hajr will sooner or later face punishment

In the port city of Defan, His Holiness Grand Mufti Abdul Zamel, addressed a huge crown of over 50 thousands faithful about the events in Hajr and Al-Magrab saying “what the great powers of the world will do in the coming days to Hajr and Al-Magrab is what they seek to do to us sooner or later. It is our duty as believers in the word of Allah to remember what takes place these days, what crimes will be committed and to bring justice to the victims. Justice may not come tomorrow or next year but it is our duty to make sure that if our generation does not bring justice then our children and grandchildren will. I ask fathers and mothers to teach their children about what is happing today so that they will never forget and pass on the memory to the countless generations that will follow them.”

Could the Pelasgian Telecommunications Authority be a partner for Al-Fashir banks?

The recently partnership between the Pelasgian Telecommunications Authority and three major banks in the country to expand the use of electronic payment systems in Pelasgia has raised interest in our kingdom. Could Al-Fashir benefit from having our banks partnership with the Pelasgian Telecommunications Authority? Our banks remain faithful to the word of Allah and to sharia law and do not, under any circumstances, resort to usury (ooc: charge interest). Will that affect a potential partnership with the Pelasgian Telecommunications Authority? That is hard to say but business analysts in Djerb (ooc: the capital of Al-Fashir) expect the royal government to explore this potential partnership further in the coming weeks. Pelasgia is not a country that follows word of Allah but is not part of the unholy pact (ooc: Gothic Sea Pact) and a partnership with the Pelasgian Telecommunications Authority is probably diplomatically acceptable for the kingdom. It remains to be seen in the coming days and weeks if such a potential partnership moves forward to actual negotiations or if the kingdom chooses a different partner.

Until next time, may Allah bless King Ahmed and the kingdom!

The Pelasgian Telecommunications Authority is most interested in a partnership with the Al-Fashir banking sector. Our payment systems only enable the clearing of payments and the processing of transactions, regardless of interest or other legal details governing the transaction.

Indeed, we expect much potential for all interested parties in such a transaction. This includes the people, economy, and even government of Al-Fashir, who could benefit from a modern, reliable, and relatively affordable modern electronic transaction system of an international caliber to link them to one another, and to global markets.

Sincerely,
Michail Dimitriades

The Abrahamic State of Azraq echoes calls from the Kingdom of Fashir that the peoples of the Magrab and Hajr should be free to determine their own futures under the guidance of Allah, and free from interference from white, Christian imperialist powers.

The military operations being conducted in the Magrab and Hajr are an affront to the Islamic people's and a united response is needed to expel the foreign invaders from these lands.

His Majesty, or an appropriate representative, is invited to Jugol to discuss a joint approach in ending these illegitimate conflicts, and the range of economic, diplomatic and military-technical methods that can be deployed.
