Cantignia, don't change Tyrrhenia. I decided I will keep things as originally planned, with Tyrrhenia as the main nation and Saraar as the second one.

Hey, so, in addition to asking for my own spot (ignore the colonies I've got listed right now for myself in the below map, not yet sure about those), I made a map with some more aesthetically pleasing revisions of your own colonial applications--reckon it'd look a lot better and seem a bit more arbitrary (as these things oft were).

I was wondering if it was alright to claim a small island off the coast of South Himyar as an Asylan naval base? It would help involve me in the RP a bit easier if I had a slightly close location from which to base any response efforts. Feel free to respond to give me your opinion on this. This isn't really an attempt to gain more territory as a opposed to extending my reach to better particiapte in global events.

Location :
Name of Colony : Erdenshire Naval Base
Name of Primary Country : Asylan
Established History : A small uninhabited island recently claimed by Asylan and used as a small naval base with only a small permanent population.Asylan has recently established a naval base and trade port in the South Himyar region due to the explosion of colonial activity in the region. Asylan does not wish to become a colonial nation itself, but does wish to reap the potential economic benefits from establishing the foothold. The IC RP of the island would be focused on the struggles of the islands commander during the times of instability and war in the region and his struggle to help those displaced by the conflict. On top of this out of war RP would focus on the potential for espionage and trade with Asylan with nations in the region and would give Asylan a more legitimate reason to be in the area than simple desire to supress the expansion of its neighbors (as my country wouldn't be quite concerned about other countries expansions unless there was a direct military threat to Asylan.)

Edit: Added to further explain my "colony's" purpose.
Um I've already claimed that...

''Second nations.'' Sometimes people do two nations at once. Sometimes people do one really and leave their old one out to pasture to become an NPC.

Yep, sometimes you would like to try something new, but without leaving your main nation.

So you're really Saraar eh? It feels a little creepy talking to the same guy through different accounts :(
By the way change your signature to Σοσιαλιστική Συνομοσπονδία της Τυρρηνίας as seeing it with spelling & grammar errors turns me into a Greek Grammar Nazi

Ionia sounds kinda Greek? It's general etiquette that second nations are unrelated to the first nation, and also those two nations typically have almost nothing to do with each other. I mean otherwise I could just fill the map with Irish style nations to back me up. :p

Well I turned my nation Nordic because you guys said I should and I created a Greek one. I'm also thinking of playing a Greek nation in the future and leaving Valkany so Ionia would serve that

Well actually because you put Valkany in the Nordic area we said you had to play a Nordic nation. See where Tyrrhenia is? That general area is the ''Greekzone'' so to speak. That's why Ovi (The name of the player) put Tyrrhenia there! :p

i know that's why I turned Valkany Nordic and made Ionia Greek. :)

Oh in your map it wasn't clear. Your line was only on the land and didn't mark out the islands as yours. Could my country perhaps rent or purchase land on those islands?

Don't worry you can have it for free but please ask me first next time ;)
