Though Multan would have perferred that this would be over with as quickly as possible, he knew that right now, the Anglysh holds sway in Bombaim, that if the referendum was held tomorrow, Bombaim would still be Anglyn the day after. The Khalsa Raj needed time to gain some influence, to tip the opinion to Khalistan and way from Anglyn. But would two months be enough? And would any longer make a difference? How could for longer and at the same time say that the Bombaimese are ready now for unification, and to shorten the time would not give time enough, all he could do was accept.
