Q: What is this forum and what does it entail?
A: Founded in 2002 by members of the nationstates.net region 'Europe', ns-europe.eu evolved in to an independent national role playing forum that has recorded over 10 thousand threads and 300 thousand posts between over 1 thousand all time members. Today we have transferred over to europe-game.eu, where we maintain a tradition of Nation RP in a 1950's based scenario.
Q: What kind of map do you use?
A: The geography of our map is a mostly original creation wrapped around an earth sized globe, current examples of the flat map and interactive globe can be found
Q. How do I start?
A. There is no rulebook way to start your RP, only suggestions. It's suggested to let people know a little about your nation by posting a thread and typing at little about what your nation is, ethnicity, culture, head of state - that kind of thing. It's also recommended to start a News Thread so other players can see what is the current happenings in your nation. That way we can use our nations to respond in kind.

Q: Who can I talk to if I have more questions?
A: The Adminstrators are Xen, Kyiv, Ommeroth. The Super Moderator is Ivernia. Moderators for the forums include Seneca, Sikandara, Mergogne. Feel free to ask any of these people for advice - but asking the forum by posting a question is fine too. Asking questions in this thread or contacting any of these moderators is welcome and encouraged.
Q: What year is it?
A: The year is 1954. The year will always be 60 years behind the actual date.
Q: Why did you pick 1954?
A: This was enacted partially to control ''technology rushes'' and abuse of new technology. It is easier to control from a moderation standpoint the known predictable paths of technology from the 1950's rather than the technology of today.
Q: What about Nuclear Weapons or Nuclear Power?
A: None is allowed of any sort. No Plutonium, Uranium not even Thorium. Nuclear Weaponry is over-powered and a game breaker. It does not exist as of our current standing.
Q: What does this mean about technology?
A: Technology can be no further than 1955. However be sure to chat to someone like a War Mod, Kyiv, or the Recruitment Mod for any applications for very ''high-end technology.''
Q. Ethnic Clustering?
A: To promote realism most ethnicities are grouped together. For example if you want to play a germanic nation a place in Germania would suit well. If you want to play a Nordic nation then Skania (Top of the map) is the best choice.
This promotes role-play co-ordination and help us fit you into our History.
