We, the government of the Gran-Occidentian Republic would be extremely interested in leasing the drilling and refining rights to the Tierra de Sol oil deposits. Regrettably our nation's industry is not currently capable of refining the oil so those facilities will have to be either constructed by your company or the oil be transported overseas to be refined elsewhere. Furthermore the province of Tierra del Sol will require some infrastructural improvements, that together with your company we would be willing to undertake.

There is also the matter of security, it is deeply regrettable but currently the our fair nation is no as stable as it once was and in order to ensure the protection of the various deposits and of course of your employees significant numbers of men and material would have to used with great expense to the government of Gran-Occidentia.

However we are confident that the sheer volume of oil discovered will more then offset these initial costs, and should your company still remain interested we can begin sorting out the necessary details immediately

Sale of the Celestún-Rio Bravo line.

The Celestún-Rio Bravo line was originally built in 1884 and connects the bustling city of Rio Bravo to the province of Tierra del Sol. And with the recent discovery of oil in this great state the rail line is ideally placed to take advantage in the increased traffic of freight and people to the region.

Now regrettably the Republic of Gran-Occidentia currently lacks the industrial capacity to refurbish the rail line to keep up with this increase in traffic and as such is open to any and all offers for private companies or persons who would wish to lease the Celestún-Rio Bravo line.

To the esteemed Julio Riveria-Gomez, Minister for Development and Industry of Gran-Occidentia

We are more than willing to invest in the needed infrastructural improvements. We are also willing to invest more generally in the region, e.g. by providing schools, sanitation and health care, as well as by employing local people.

For refining the oil, we ourselves rely on the Bremer Raffineriegesellschaft mbH. This company is willing to build a refinery in Gran-Occidentia.

Yours sincerely,

Felix Herzog von Walsrode
